CLARICE OLIVIA KOCH OF CADET, MISSOURI, WAS BORN SEPTEMBER 28, 1925, IN CADET, MISSOURI, A DAUGHTER OF THE LATE JOSEPH A. AND MAUDE (COURTOIS) DEGONIA. CLARICE DEPARTED THIS LIFE AT MINERAL AREA REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER ON FEBRUARY 6, 2000, HAVING REACHED THE AGE OF SEVENTY- FOUR YEARS, FOUR MONTHS AND NINE DAYS.

CLARICE WAS UNITED IN MARRIAGE TO MATTHEW "BOOTS" KOCH ON JUNE 26, 1948, IN OLD MINES.

CLARICE IS SURVIVED BY HER HUSBAND, MATTHEW "BOOTS" KOCH OF CADET, THREE DAUGHTERS, KAREN MEYERS AND HUSBAND FRANK OF POTOSI, DEBRA MCGUINN AND HUSBAND MARION OF FLORISSANT, DENISE STAMOS AND HUSBAND STEVE OF ST. LOUIS, FOUR SONS, WAYNE KOCH AND WIFE PHYLLIS OF CADET, GARY KOCH AND WIFE JANET OF POTOSI, KEVIN KOCH AND WIFE DEBRA OF FARMINGTON, ROGER KOCH OF CADET, TWENTY-EIGHT GRANDCHILDREN, ONE BROTHER, JOHN DEGONIA AND WIFE NORMA OF FESTUS, TWO SISTERS, BETTY OSIA OF CADET, CLARA FRENCH AND HUSBAND CHARLES OF DESOTO AND BY MANY OTHER RELATIVES AND FRIENDS. IN ADDITION TO HER PARENTS SHE IS ALSO PRECEDED BY TWO BROTHERS, JAMES AND JOSEPH DEGONIA.

CLARICE HAD A GREAT LOVE FOR HER MANY FAMILY AND FRIENDS; EACH OF THEM HELD A VERY DEAR PLACE IN HER HEART. HER GRANDCHILDREN WERE A GREAT LOVE TO HER AND SHE ENJOYED EVERY MINUTE SPENT WITH THEM. CLARICE ENJOYED TAKING TIME TO ENJOY BOWLING WITH HER MANY FRIENDS AND TO WORK WITH HER FLOWERS AND NURTURE HER PLANTS. THE LOVE AND FRIENDSHIP SHARED BY CLARICE WILL BE CHERISHED BY ALL.

VISITATION WAS HELD WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 9, 2000, FROM 2:00 P.M. TO 9:00 P.M. AT MOORE FUNERAL HOME IN POTOSI.

A FUNERAL MASS WAS CELEBRATED THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 10, 2000, AT 10:00 A.M. AT ST. MARY'S ASSUMPTION IN ST. LOUIS, WITH FATHER STEPHEN STANICH OFFICIATING. BURIAL WAS IN ST. JOACHIM CATHOLIC CEMETERY UNDER THE DIRECTION OF MOORE FUNERAL HOME, POTOSI.

SERVING AS PALLBEARERS WERE, WAYNE KOCH, GARY KOCH, KEVIN KOCH, FRANK MEYERS, MARION MCGUINN AND STEVE STANOS.
