Michael Baker
Michael J. Baker, 35, died Monday, June 2, 1997, at his home in Prescott.
He was born March 28, 1962, in North Bend, Ore., to Sandra L. (Raynor) and Ronald D. Baker.
Mr. Baker worked for Fortner-Gifford as a machinist. He moved to Prescott from Phoenix in 1996.
He served four years in the U.S. Air Force. He enjoyed spending time with his family.
Survivors include his mother, Sandra L. Dulgar of Tonopah, Nev.; father, Ronald Don Baker of Rio Rancho, N.M.; brothers, Don C. Baker of San Antonio, Texas, and Glen Baker of Marysville, Calif.; sisters, Rebecca J. Sorensen of Uniontown, Wash., and Lorrie Seward of Oklahoma.
A private service will be at Mountain View Cemetery in Prescott.

Christian David Rodriguez
Christian David Rodriguez, 7, died Wednesday, June 4, 1997, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Phoenix because of a drowning accident in Mayer.
He was born Dec. 5, 1989, in Sonora, Mexico, to Jose and Carmen Rodriguez.
The child attended elementary school in Mayer.
A funeral service and visitation were held at the Hampton Funeral Home in Prescott, followed by burial at the Humboldt Cemetery on Saturday.
The Hampton Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
Richard Bennett
Richard Bennett, 72, died Wednesday, June 4, 1997, at his home in Chino Valley.
He was born Nov. 7, 1924, in Evert, Mich.
Mr. Bennett was a union roofer for 30 years, retiring in 1984. He moved to Chino Valley in 1984 from Los Angeles, Calif. He was a member of the Roofers Union Local No. 36 in Los Angeles. He loved to go to auctions, and knew how to find treasures from the items sold at the auctions. He was quite knowledgeable about antiques and their value and rarity.
Survivors include his wife, Norma Jean; son, Mike Bird of Travis Air Force Base, Calif.; daughter, Dana Davis of Chino Valley; brother, Larry Bennett of New Aygo, Mich.
There will be no services, as requested by Mr. Bennett.
Memorial donations may be made to the Chino Valley Swimming Pool Fund c/o Stockmen's Bank, Highway 89, Chino Valley AZ 86323.

Ruby Blizard Heckel
Ruby Blizard Heckel, 93, died Thursday, June 5, 1997, at her home in Prescott.
She was born in Logansport, Ind., in 1904 to Hugh and Elisabeth Blizard.
Mrs. Heckel married Ervin John Heckel of Chicago in 1928. She was active in various community activities in Illinois, including being president of the Norwood Park Womans Club and PTA. She was president of the Illinois Federation of Women's Clubs. She served on the Board of Family Service of Du Page County. She was founder and honorary member of the Downers Grove Junior Womans Club. She was a life member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Indiana, and was a gracious host, flower arranger, gardener and friend.
Mrs. Heckel moved to Prescott in 1995, where she was an XMCs of the Monday Club.
Survivors include her daughter, Barbara Whiting of Prescott; sisters, Carol Lade and Elisabeth Blizard of Seattle, Wash.; grandsons, John of Prescott and Thomas of Fernandina Beach, Fla.; and three great-grandsons.
Memorial services will be in Downers Grove, Ill., and burial will be in Acacia Park, Ill.

Arlene L. Moon
Arlene L. Moon, 68, died Thursday, June 5, 1997, at her home in Chino Valley.
Ms. Moon was born Jan. 14, 1929, in Long Beach, Calif., to James and Ada (Alguire) Moon.
Ms. Moon moved to Chino Valley from Phoenix in 1991.
She was employed by Fry's Food Store as a cashier for 17 years, retiring in April 1991.
Ms. Moon enjoyed her retirement years in Chino Valley among her four-footed friends - her dogs and horses.
She was proudest of the home she and her sister shared.
Survivors include a brother, Lewis E. Moon of Chino Valley, and sister, Lois E. Delfeld of Chino Valley.
Private family services have been held.

Marion E. Roller
Marion E. Roller, 86, died at the Meadow Park Care Center in Prescott on Friday, June 6, 1997.
Mr. Roller was born on Feb. 1, 1911, in Purdy, Mo., to Elias and Rachel S. (Reynolds) Roller.
He moved to Mayer from Guthrie, Okla., in 1983.
Mr. Roller was a member of the First Southern Baptist Church of Mayer, and was a member of the Mayer Centennial Lions Club.
He was a good storyteller, enjoyed watching old movies, and enjoyed collecting models of antique cars. He was proudest of his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include his spouse, Anna Roller; sons, Loyal Brown of Cowichew, Wash., Frank Brown of Arlington, Vt., and Loyd Hankins of Wickenburg; and daughters, Marian Schlicher of Harrisonville, Mo., Barbara J. Blackburn of Prescott, May Bass and Joy Holtschneider of Guthrie, Okla., and Janet E. Bell of Mayer.
A private cremation will be held at Mountain View Cemetery.
