Dorothy Cox
Dorothy L. Cox, 78, died Sunday, Aug. 1, 1999, at her residence in Prescott.
She was born Apr. 26, 1921, in Otter Creek, Ill., to Oliver T. and Maggie E. (Kirchner) Ferguson.
Mrs. Cox moved to Kingman from Illinois in 1946, and in 1991 moved to Prescott. She was a member of the Baptist church, and enjoyed going to bingo, playing the piano and guitar, singing, and working crossword puzzles.
Mrs. Cox is survived by her daughter, Janice Holmes of Prescott; sons, Tom of Cave Creek and William of Kingman; brother, Bud Ferguson of Arkansas; eight grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her sisters, Pearl Ferguson, Murial Hayes and Doris Woolsey.
A visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. today at Arizona Ruffner Wake-lin Funeral Home, 303 S. Cortez St.
Services will be at noon Thursday at Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home, with the Rev. Robert Vaughn officiating. A formal funeral procession will go from the funeral home to Mountain View Cemetery, where concluding services will be held.

Jerome Gerba
Jerome Paul "Jerry" Gerba, 56, died Sunday, Aug. 1, 1999, in Prescott.
He was born Oct. 20, 1942, in Cleveland, Ohio, to Steven and Mary (McHugh) Gerba.
Mr. Gerba married Carol Gallagher on Jan. 16, 1965. He worked as an office clerk for 34 years for the East Ohio Gas Co., retiring in 1997.
In January 1998 he and his wife moved to Prescott from Westlake, Ohio.
Mr. Gerba enjoyed bowling, card games, and playing chess. He attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church and was proudest of his family.
He is survived by his wife, Carol of Prescott; sons, Jerome Jr. of Parma, Ohio, and Donald of Prescott; daughters, Kimberly Larimer of Lakewood, Ohio, and Marilyn Abusai of New York, N.Y.; brother, Steven of Parma, Ohio; sisters, Alice Hought of Cleveland, Ohio, and Mary Baloun of Alabama; and five grandchildren.
A memorial Mass will be celebrated at 3:30 p.m. Thursday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 150 Fleury Ave. Private cremation was at Bradshaw Crematory in Prescott Valley.

Jack Zimmerman
Jack T. Zimmerman, 74, a former Prescott resident, died July 31, 1999, in Sun City.
He was born May 4, 1925, in Boulder, Mont., to John and Vida (Clark) Zimmerman. He owned and operated Allen Drug, Jack's Drive-In Drug, and Missoula Drug, all in Missoula, Mont.
Mr. Zimmerman retired to Arizona in 1982, living in Sun Lakes, Prescott and Sun City.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy of Sun City; daughters, Linda Coates of Miles City, Mont., and Gail Smith of Phoenix; and four grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 21, 1999, at Willowbrook United Methodist Church, 19390 N. 99th Ave., Sun City.

Robert G. Camp
Robert G. Camp, 84, died Sunday, Aug. 1, 1999, at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Prescott.
He was born Jan. 22, 1915, in Milton, Pa., to Romeo Bianco and Laura Myrtle (Hoy) Campiglio.
Mr. Camp served in the Army Air Corps in World War II. He graduated from the University of Maryland, and his career included home financing and private property exchanges. He retired in 1980.
Mr. Camp married Oda Omega Harris Dec. 22, 1990, in Tucson. The marriage was later solemnized in the Arizona Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
He served as the Democratic precinct committeeman for Yavapai County from 1952-1987, was commander of the Ernest Love American Legion Post #6 from 1953-1954, and was a charter member of the Prescott Lions Club.
Mr. Camp was also a member of Delta Sigma Phi (Alpha Sigma chapter) and Beta Sigma Phi. He was also active in his church, and enjoyed many outdoor activities. He was proudest of his grandchildren, his sons' athletic abilities, and his cabin in the forest.
He is survived by his wife, Oda of Prescott; sons, Robert Jr. and Earnest, both of Prescott; daughters, Patsy Lowe of Fishing Creek, Md., and Robert Beal of Wimberly, Texas; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1001 Ruth St., with Bishop Charles Gould officiating. The Ernest Love Post of the American Legion will give military honors at the church.
Visitation will be held at the church one hour prior to the services. Burial will follow the service at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona in Phoenix.

Richard Peterson
Richard "Pete" Peterson, 66, died Friday, July 30, 1999, at his home in Prescott.
He was born Feb. 3, 1933, in Cleveland, Ohio, to Carl W. and Anna (Pakulski) Peterson.
Mr. Peterson served for two years in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He worked as a regional sales manager for Fel-Pro Chemical Industries for 15 years before retiring in February 1998.
Mr. Peterson married his high school sweetheart, Louise Zaleski, on June 22, 1954. He enjoyed outdoors activities, panning for gold and reading Westerns.
Mr. Peterson was proudest of his family and their accomplishments, as well as his own career accomplishments.
He is survived by his wife, Louise of Prescott; daughters, Debra Peterson of Phoenix, and Susan Imbriale of Encino, Calif.; sons, Jeffrey of Wickenberg, and Eric of Wilsonville, Ore.; sister, Dolores Davis of Ravenna, Ohio; brother, Dennis of Tampa, Fla.; and six grandchildren.
A private cremation will be held at Bradshaw Crematory in Prescott Valley. Memorial services will be held in Ohio, Florida, and Indiana.
Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Judes Childrens Hospital.

David Parra
David Parra, 89, died Wednesday, July 28, 1999, at his home in Chino Valley.
He was born Feb. 2, 1910, in Clifton to Encarnacino and Blasa (Garcia) Parra.
Mr. Parra worked as a farmer for many years. He retired in 1975 and then moved to Prescott. He had lived in El Paso, Texas; Ogden, Utah; Corcoran, Calif., and Nyssa, Ore.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Maria, in 1991.
Survivors include his daughter, Angie Edwards of Portland, Ore.; sons, Vincent of Prescott, David of Lenore, Idaho, Joe of Payson, Sal of Prescott Valley, and Carlos of Chino Valley; 14 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at the Redwood Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Dewey.
