From Yavapai County, Arizona:

David Daly
David John Daly, 64, died Friday, June 4, 1999, at his home in Prescott.
He was born June 14, 1934, in Astoria, Long Island, N.Y., to David J. and Anna (Fernbacker) Daly.
Mr. Daly was a 17-year veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. Following his retirement, he worked for Inland Paperboard and Packaging for five years, retiring in February 1999 as a sales manager.
Mr. Daly and Carolyn, his wife of 42 years, moved to Prescott from Santa Ana, Calif., in November 1998. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
He enjoyed tennis and golf, and was proud of his family.
Survivors include his wife, Carolyn of Prescott; daughters, Shaun Cruickshank of Santa Ana, Calif., and Erin Botma of Chandler; son, David of Lindenhurst, Ill.; and seven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Richard, in 1997.
A visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, with a rosary service at 7 p.m., at Saddleback Chapel, 220 E. Main, Tustin, Calif.
Services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Cecilia Catholic Church on Sycamore Street, also in Tustin.
The Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home helped the family with local arrangements.

Forrest Tanner
Forrest B. Tanner, 77, of Dewey, died Thursday, May 27, 1999, in Prescott.
He was born Feb. 3, 1922, in Denver, Colo., to James F. and Hazel (Desserich) Tanner.
Mr. Tanner and his wife, Ruth, were married March 25, 1950, in Sepulveda, Calif. He owned and operated a painting company, "Painting by Forrest," retiring in 1982. He devoted much of his life to the church, being a minister for 58 years.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth of Dewey; son, Ken of Prescott; brother, James Jr. of Cottonwood; sister, Shirley Arndt of Woodland Hills, Calif.; and three grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 6933 Horizon Lane, Prescott Valley.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Bible and Tract Society, Attn: World Widework, 25 Columbia Heights, Brooklyn, NY 11201-2483.

Lloyd Boy
Lloyd "Bill" Boy, 76, of Mayer, died Monday, June 7, 1999, in Mayer.
He was born Aug. 14, 1922, in Dekalb County, Mo., to Joshua Martin and Sally Estelle (Pierson) Boy.
Mr. Boy married Betty Lou Dunn on April 19, 1958, in Las Vegas, Nev.
He was a member of the Christian Church Disciples of Christ in Phoenix, and a member of Alcoholics Anonymous in Mayer. He was also a past member of the Mayer Kiwanis Club.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Lou of Mayer; sons, Douglas Dishon of Dewey, Mark Dishon of Rimrock, and Bill Boy of Mayer; brother, Johnny of Santee, Calif.; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Sunrise Funeral Home, 8167 E. Highway 69, in Prescott Valley.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, also at Sunrise Funeral Home, with Pastor Bob Collins officiating.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Yavapai Regional Medical Center Hospice, 3262 N. Windsong Drive, Prescott Valley, AZ 86314.

Kathryn Embich
Kathryn G. "Kay" Embich died Thursday, April 22, 1999, at her home in Prescott.
Mrs. Embich was a 28-year Prescott resident, retiring from the Chicago area with her husband, Jay. He preceded her in death in 1982.
Survivors include two daughters; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
No services are planned.

Clover Baber
Clover V. Baber, 81, died Sunday, June 6, 1999, at Yavapai Regional Medical Center.
She was born May 4, 1918, in Liberal, Kan., to Arthur and Ethel (Doty) Taylor.
Mrs. Baber worked for 15 years as a bookkeeper at her husband's garage in Phoenix, retiring in 1968. She moved to Phoenix from Des Moines, Iowa, in 1945, and to Prescott in 1973.
She was a member of the Nazarene Church. She enjoyed bowling, and she loved to travel with her grandchildren. She enjoyed crocheting for her family and friends.
Mrs. Baber was proud of her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and her new great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond, on Jan. 1, 1997.
Survivors include her daughter, G. Sue Agan of East Windsor, Conn.; son, Gerald of Phoenix; brothers, Howard Taylor of Des Moines, Iowa, and Arthur Taylor of Ames, Iowa; five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
A private cremation was held at Bradshaw Crematory in Prescott Valley.

Merrill Drollinger
Merrill Roe Drollinger, 85, died Saturday, June 5, 1999, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Phoenix.
He was born Feb. 24, 1914, in Ashton, Idaho, to Stephen F. and Geneva Eleanor (Gee) Drollinger.
Mr. Drollinger moved to Humboldt 28 years ago, from Blackfoot, Idaho. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving during World War II in the Pacific Theater.
He worked as a firefighter for many years at the Atomic Energy Commission in Idaho Falls. He was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Prescott Valley. He was active in his church and the Boy Scouts. His family said he was a borderline famous gardener. He also enjoyed woodworking and loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. His love of children went beyond his family. He enjoyed the outdoors and camping.
Survivors include his wife, Martha of Humboldt; daughter, Arla Tolman, also of Humboldt; sons, Merrill of Mount Clemens, Mont., David Howe of Idaho, Danny of Tucson, Paul of Logandale, Nev., and Eugene of Dewey; brother, Deward of Sinclair, Wyo.; sister, Geneva Burton of Ogden, Utah; 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 9 to 10 a.m. Wednesday, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 3950 N. Valorie Drive in Prescott Valley.
Funeral services will follow at 10:30 a.m.

Charles Kidder
Charles W. Kidder, 47, died Friday, June 4, 1999, at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center.
He was born Sept. 23, 1951, in Steubensville, Ohio, to Guy A. and Norma J. (Gardner) Kidder.
Mr. Kidder lived in Phoenix for 34 years. He moved to Humboldt three years ago. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving from Dec. 27, 1971 to Feb. 9, 1973.
He was a member of the Mayer Community Church and Alcoholics Anonymous. He enjoyed fishing, woodworking, ceramics, and most of all, spending time with his family.
Survivors include his father, Guy and stepmother, Opal, both of Arkansas; his mother, Norma Romanek of Humboldt; daughter, Terri of Phoenix; son, Michael, also of Phoenix; brothers, Steve Romanek of Prescott, and John Romanek of New Mexico; sisters, Margaret Johnston of Phoenix, Barbara Summerhill of Arkansas, Sandra Martin of Camp Verde, and Roxanne Paulson of New Mexico; and one grandchild.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Mayer Community Church, with Pastor Thom Ernst officiating.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Mayer Community Church, or to Alcoholics Anonymous.

Frances Walker
Frances S. "Frankie" Walker, 51, died Saturday, June 5, 1999, in Prescott.
She was born Jan. 8, 1948, in Carlsbad, N.M., to John E. and Isabel N. (Ralston) Walker.
Ms. Walker had lived in Arizona for 48 years. She was preceded in death by her father, John Walker; and sister, Darlene Walker.
Survivors include her mother, Isabel of Prescott Valley; and sister, Frieda of Prescott.
A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Germaine's Catholic Church, 7997 E. Dana Drive, Prescott Valley. The Rev. Fr. Gerald Yeager will be the celebrant.
Memory Chapel Mortuary helped the family with arrangements.
