BETTY DEPARTED THIS LIFE AT WASHINGTON COUNTY MEMORIAL HOSPITAL ON MARCH 26, 2000, HAVING REACHED THE AGE OF EIGHTY-YEARS, NINE MONTHS AND TWENTY-SIX DAYS.
BETTY WAS UNITED IN MARRIAGE TO THE LATE JOSEPH "HOMER" POLITTE IN 1936. ON MAY 8, 1952, BETTY WAS UNITED IN MARRIAGE TO EDWARD F. KARSCH, JR., WHO PRECEDED HER IN DEATH DECEMBER 11, 1993.
BETTY IS SURVIVED BY TWO SONS, JIM POLITTE AND WIFE JUDY OF POTOSI, JOHN KARSCH AND WIFE DONNA OF POTOSI, ONE DAUGHTER, PEGGY GEISLER AND HUSBAND RALPH OF LAKE OZARK, ONE STEP-SON, JAMES E. "JIM" KARSCH AND WIFE PEGGY OF ST. LOUIS, TWELVE GRANDCHILDREN, SIX GREAT GRANDCHILDREN, ONE BROTHER, BUDDY MOORE OF DESOTO AND BY MANY OTHER RELATIVES AND FRIENDS. IN ADDITION TO HER PARENTS AND SPOUSE SHE WAS ALSO PRECEDED IN DEATH BY ONE SON, JOSEPH HOMER "SONNY" POLITTE AND ONE SISTER, HELEN HOUSTON.
BETTY HAD A GREAT LOVE FOR FAMILY AND CHERISHED EVERY MOMENT SPENT WITH EACH OF THEM. BETTY ENJOYED CLEANING, FISHING AND WAS ALWAYS READY TO GO SHOPPING.
BETTY AND HER LATE HUSBAND, EDWARD F. KARSCH, JR. OPENED THEIR FIRST KARSCH FOOD STORE IN POTOSI ON APRIL 3, 1933, THEY BOTH HELD A VERY ACTIVE ROLE IN THE BUSINESS DURING THEIR WORKING YEARS..
VISITATION WAS HELD MONDAY, MARCH 27, 2000, FROM 5:00 P.M. TO 9:00 P.M. AT MOORE FUNERAL HOME IN POTOSI.
FUNERAL SERVICES WERE CONDUCTED TUESDAY, MARCH 28, 2000, AT 11:00 A.M. AT THE CHAPEL WITH ELDER LEONARD COMPTON OFFICIATING. BURIAL WAS IN REDBUD MEMORIAL GARDENS UNDER THE DIRECTION OF MOORE FUNERAL HOME, POTOSI.
SERVING AS PALLBEARERS WERE, JIMMY GIBSON, DONALD THOMPSON, J.M. KARSCH, CRAIG KARSCH, RALPH GEISLER AND RALPH GEILSER, JR.

ROXANNA JO FRENCH
ROXANNA JO FRENCH OF IRONDALE, MISSOURI, WAS BORN JANUARY 23, 1973, IN FARMINGTON, MISSOURI, A DAUGHTER OF JOHN AND JO ANN (MARLER) FRENCH. ROXANNA DEPARTED THIS LIFE AT HER RESIDENCE ON MARCH 26, 2000, HAVING REACHED THE AGE OF TWENTY-SEVEN YEARS, TWO MONTHS AND THREE DAYS.
ROXANNA IS SURVIVED BY HER PARENTS, JOHN AND JO ANN FRENCH OF IRONDALE, TWO SISTERS, HEATHER FRENCH OF IRONDALE, MARIE WISDOM AND HUSBAND DAVID OF FARMINGTON, HER GRANDMOTHER, BEULAH MARLER OF IRONDALE, TWO NEPHEWS, JONATHAN AND JOSHUA WISDOM AND BY MANY OTHER RELATIVES AND FRIENDS. ROXANNA WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY ONE UNBORN CHILD.
ROXANNA HAD A GREAT LOVE FOR PEOPLE ALWAYS WILLING TO CARE FOR HER SISTER, HEATHER AND HER LOVING NEPHEWS, JONATHAN AND JOSHUA. SHE ENJOYED THE MANY GIFTS MOTHER NATURE DELIVERED TO HER AND SPENDING TIME CAMPING IN THE OUTDOORS. ROXANNA HAD A GREAT COLLECTION OF BEARS AND ALWAYS LOOKED FORWARD TO ACQUIRING A NEW ONE. SOME OF HER GREATEST MOMENTS WAS THE TIME SHE SPENT CHATTING ON THE TELEPHONE.
VISITATION WAS HELD MONDAY, MARCH 27, 2000, FROM 6:00 P.M. TO 9:00 P.M. AT MOORE FUNERAL HOME IN IRONDALE.
FUNERAL SERVICES WERE CONDUCTED TUESDAY, MARCH 28, 2000, AT 2:00 P.M. AT THE CHAPEL WITH REVEREND TAMI WILSON AND REVEREND JIMMY ROBINSON OFFICIATING. BURIAL WAS IN BIG RIVER CEMETERY UNDER THE DIRECTION OF MOORE FUNERAL HOME, IRONDALE.
SERVING AS PALLBEARERS WERE, ROBBIE CROCKER, BRIAN JENKERSON, STEVEN JENKERSON, JOHN HAGERTY, CHUCK CASON, DOUG GRAHAM, MONTY BOYER AND JONATHAN WISDOM

PATTY WAS THE DAUGHTER OF HELEN DOROTHY (SWIFT) BUST PRICE AND THE LATE FRANCIS NEWTON BUST. PATTY DIED WEDNESDAY, MARCH 29, 2000 AT HER HOME AT THE AGE OF SIXTY-ONE YEARS, EIGHT MONTHS AND EIGHT DAYS.
PATTY IS SURVIVED BY HER LOVING AND DEVOTED CHILDREN, CAROL ANN TALLIS AND HUSBAND JOHN OF ST. LOUIS, JODI LYN GARNATZ AND HUSBAND TOD OF ST. LOUIS, AND JAMES WILLIAM LAWRENCE JR. THELMA DEPARTED THIS LIFE AT POTOSI MANOR ON SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 6, 1999, HAVING REACHED THE AGE OF NINETY YEARS, THREE MONTHS AND TWENTY-EIGHT DAYS.
THELMA WAS UNITED IN MARRIAGE TO THE LATE FRANKLIN E. FENSTERMAKER ON JANUARY 3, 1941, IN ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI, AND TO THIS UNION TWO DAUGHTERS WERE BORN.
THELMA IS SURVIVED BY TWO DAUGHTERS, THELMA ROBINSON AND HUSBAND JOHN OF CALEDONIA, FRANCES DECLUE AND HUSBAND DONALD M. OF POTOSI, TWO GRANDCHILDREN, SUZANNE FRANCES KAY AND HUSBAND MICHAEL W. OF FRESICO, TEXAS AND JOHN M. ROBINSON, III OF ST. LOUIS, TWO GREAT GRANDSONS, AARON MICHAEL KAY AND JOSHUA MCCLURE KAY OF FRESICO, TEXAS, TWO BROTHERS, ALVA EYE AND WIFE DOLLY OF ARNOLD, PAUL EYE AND WIFE LEONE OF FLORIDA, TWO SISTERS, BEULAH TRASK AND HUSBAND CORDELL OF POTOSI, MINNIE HILL OF SPANISH LAKE, TWO SISTERS-IN-LAW, RUBY EYE OF POTOSI, GRACE (GENE) MCFADDEN OF FLORISSANT, ONE BROTHER-IN-LAW, GEORGE FENSTERMAKER OF POTOSI, NIECES, NEPHEWS AND MANY OTHER RELATIVES AND FRIENDS. THELMA ACCEPTED CHRIST EARLY IN HER LIFE AND WAS THE OLDEST MEMBER OF THE WHITE OAK GROVE BAPTIST CHURCH, SHIRLEY, MISSOURI. THELMA HAD BEEN EMPLOYED FOR THE BROWN SHOE COMPANY FOR SOME TWENTY-TWO YEARS. HER LOVE FOR FAMILY AND FRIENDS GUIDED HER EVERYDAY WORKS TO FULFILL THE TEACHINGS OF HER SAVIOR.
A KIND AND LOVING MOTHER, GRANDMOTHER, GREAT GRANDMOTHER, SISTER, AUNT AND CHERISHED FRIEND WHO WILL BE SADLY MISSED AND LOVINGLY REMEMBERED BY ALL WHO KNEW HER.
