Mrs. Nephew, a waitress from Breckenridge, MN, is survived by her husband Freddie, daughter Karen Bushee, sons Gene and James Thimjon, 9 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Apache Junction Mortuary handled all arrangements.

Johnnie Hugh Singletary
Johnnie Hugh Singletary, 81, of Mesa passed away Friday, January 19, 2001. Mr. Singletary, a truck driver for a moving and storage co. and a veteran of the U.S. Army during WWII, from Shawnee, Oklahoma, is survived by his wife Ruth G. Singletary, daughters Sandra Flanders, Grace McKewen, Jackie Kocher and Lizabeth Fouriner, sons Johnnie Singletary, Jr., Clarence Blackherms, C. Wayne Singletary, Joey Singletary and Clifford Singletary, 15 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Bunker's Desert View handled all arrangements.

Mr. Clarol "Punky" Babb
Mr. Clarol "Punky" Babb, 67, of Apache Junction, passed away Friday, January 26, 2001. Mr. Babb, a retired dept. manager in the computer industry and a Veteran of the Korean War, born in Cambridge, MN, is survived by his wife Carol, daughter Debra Stickney, sons Jeffrey and Randall Babb, sisters Jean Larson and Eleanor Lood, brothers Dwaine and Clyde Babb, 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Willard Ross Merklin
Willard Ross Merklin, 86, of Apache Junction, passed away this past week. Mr. Merklin, a self taught mechanic born in Cheyenne County, Kansas, is survived by his wife Ruth Bobenmoyer, stepson Gene Young, daughter in law Marlene and two grandchildren, Shelly and Rodney, all from a previous marriage, his four stepchildren, Ida, Alice, Arlene and David, sister Genevieve and her family, nephew, Jim and Bob Willis of Benkelman and their families, niece Kathy Smith of Wray, Colorado and her family, and numerous other relatives, friends and neighbors. Memorials may be sent in Mr. Merklin's name to Forch Funeral Chapel in Benkelman, Nebraska. Forch Funeral Chapel handled all arrangements.

Dorrell "Brownie" Brown, Jr., 77, of Apache Junction, formerly of Monroe, Michigan, passed away Sunday, February 11, 2001. He was born in Toledo, Ohio and raised by his grandparents, Bert and JoAnne Brown. He is survived by his wife the former Shirley St. Bernard, son Gary L. Brown of Tempe, AZ, daughter Sandra L. Vanisacker of Monroe, Michigan, 5 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, 2 sisters Wilma Hintz of Toledo, Ohio and Rosemary Geib of Hale, Michigan. St. Timothy Catholic Church handled all arrangements with interment at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Mesa, AZ.
