Robert S. "Bob" Milbrat
Robert S. Milbrat, 68, of Apache Junction, passed away on Monday, May 14. Mr. Milbrat was originally from Anaheim, Calif. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and he retired from the Weyerhauser Corporation in 1985.
Mr. Milbrat served as a member of the Apache Junction Fire District Board of Directors from 1991 to 1994.
Mr. Milbrat is survived by his wife, Alice, and four adult children. The family asks that, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the AJ Fire District through the Bob Milbrat Memorial Fund at Wells Fargo Bank, account #2002168581.

Col. James E. Kohler
Col. James E. Kohler, born May 15, 1921, passed away June 8, 2001. He was born in Ohio and raised in Colorado until he went to live with his grandparents in Nebraska. At age 19, he entered the Army Air Corp. and flew 50 missions over 10 European Countries. He married Velma Weed (Martineau) and was married 51 1/2 years at the time of her passing in May of 1994. His son, Bradford Kohler, also passed away in November of 1994.
He is survived by the following: Charles Martineau and Ruth, Marlene Hueveldt and John, Kandis Ladd and Richard, Gayal Kohler, widow of Brad, sister Betty Brown, brother Ed Kohler, AuntVelma Hepler of CO, 9 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren, all of New York. He is also survived by his very special friend, Irene Zihlke.
Col. Kohler spent 35 years in the military and was a life member of the VFW #9399, Amvets Post #89, member of the American Legion #97 of Florence, and a member of the Moose and Eagles of Apache Junction. Memorials may be sent to the Banner Hospice.
