Jack W. Shade
Jack W. Shade, 78, of Apache Junction, passed away Tuesday, February 26, 2002. Mr. Shade, an Army Veteran of WWII and a truck driver, born in Freeport, Illinois, is survived by his wife Marion, daughters Mary Damico, Ann Marks, Patricia McGregory and Barbara Roenfanz, son Stephen Shade, sister Judy Spratler, and brother Gene Shade. Apache Junction Moruary handled all arrangements.

Orville E. Wagoner
Orville E. Wagoner, 86, of Apache Junction, passed away Sunday, February 17, 2002. Mr. Wagoner, a retired pressman of 33 years from W.F. Hall Printing of Chicago, Illinois and decorated Veteran of WWII, born in Delphos, Ohio, is survived by his wife Mildred, daughters Marilyn Di Piero and Alice Jean Regelli, sister Shirley MacArthur, 6 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Mr. Wagoner was preceded in death by his daughter, Susan Lucas. Family suggests memorials be sent to First Baptist Church, 235 S. Thunderbird Dr., Apache Junction, AZ 85220 or the Apache Junction Food Bank.

Richard Ray Wells
Richard Ray Wells, 48, of Apache Junction, passed away on Saturday, February 23, 2002. Mr. Wells, a dry wall hanger and Vietnam Veteran was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, is survived by his daughter Sondra Mullanex of Maryland, Richard Mullanex of Maryland, mother Virginia Wells of Apache Junction, sisters Tina Marie Bodom, Linda Ann Peterman, and Marlene Kay Gleason, and 3 grandchildren. Apache Junction Mortuary handled all arrangements.

Joyce Criss, 76, of Apache Junction, passed away on Saturday, March 3, 2002. Mrs. Criss, a proprietor of Joy Surplus in Imlay City, Michigan, born in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, is survived by her husband Lee, two daughters, Deborah and Laura Folker, and two sons, Harold and Michael Folker, step son Donald Criss, step daughter Monica Watson, sisters Sandra Stevens, Linda Devlin, and Marjorie Lazarus, brothers William Hines, Harvey Hines, and Frederick Hines, 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Catherine "Tootie" McGee, 84, of Apache Junction, passed away on Tuesday, March 12, 2002. Mrs. McGee, born in Bridgeport, Nebraska, is survived by her husband Paul, daughter Colleen McGee, son Monte McGee and wife Shirley, 5 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Larry D. Swander, 74, of Apache Junction, passed away Monday, March 18, 2002. Mr. Swander, born in Fostoria, Ohio, beloved husband of Patricia (Matter) for 54 years. Adored father and father-in-law of Patricia Osborne (Palmer), Arthur (Mauria), Pamela Carson (John), Jerry (Kathy), Saraha, the late Timoth, and Larry John (Tracy). Special grandfather of 14 and great-grandfather of 12. He is survived by 7 sisters and predeceased by parents Daniel and Mary Swander and 3 brothers.
