Daryl DeWayne McVicker
Daryl DeWayne McVicker, 80 years, of Florence Arizona peacefully left this world on February 25, 2003. His parents and one sister preceded Daryl in death. He is survived by three brothers James McVicker, William McVicker, and Gary McVicker, three sisters Marge Pepper, Joanne Leininger, and Dorothy McMahon. He is also survived by his wife Olive D. McVicker of 62 years, and children Kay Rippiere, Nicholas McVicker, Patricia Kent, Doris McVicker, Chuck McVicker, Mark McVicker, John McVicker, Mary Dunn and Allen McVicker. Daryl's life was surrounded by his nine children, thirty-three grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. They were his life. He was truly loved and will be missed. Daryl was a veteran of World War II and a recipient of the Bronze Star. Daryl retired from the Bureau of Indian Affairs. He was an officer of the NARFE, Chapter 907, and was a long time resident of Florence.
