Mercy Campbell Judkins
NORTH OGDEN--Mercy Campbell Judkins, 73, lifetime resident of this community, died Wednesday at the family home, following a four years' illness, of heart trouble.
She was born here Feb. 10, 1864, daughter of Solomon and Lovina Campbell Campbell, Utah pioneers, who were among the first settlers of this vicinity. Mrs. Judkins was a member of the Church and active in the North Ogden Ward Relief Society. She was married to Eugene B. Judkins in North Ogden Dec. 4, 1882.
Besides her husband, she is survived by the following sons and daughters: David Judkins, Long Beach, Calif.; Mrs. Frank Campbell, Hyrum C. and Roy Judkins, North Ogden; Mrs. Joseph Crawford, Mrs. Edward V. Wright and Mrs. Joseph Mickelwaite of Ogden; Mrs. Richard Van Ness, Fresno, Calif.; Leonard N. Judkins, Rigby, Idaho, and Clyde Judkins, Carlin, Nev.; one brother, Welcome J. Campbell, North Ogden; 35 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held Saturday, on her fifty-fifth wedding anniversary and her husband's birthday anniversary, at 2 p.m. in North Ogden Ward by Bishop H. S. Campbell. Burial will be in North Ogden City Cemetery. with Lindquist & Sons of Ogden directing.
