"Mrs. A.M. Olds
Funeral Services were held Thursday afternoon at the Methodist Church for Mrs. A.M. Olds, 84, who died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. L.E.Vosburg, residing on Rt #3, Rice Lake. Mrs Olds had made her home of late with her daughter. In April 1920, she suffered a paralytic stroke and since that time has been an invalid. Mrs. Olds was born in Canada, November 11, 1845 and with her parents moved to Ohio, and still later to Madison, Wisconsin, where she grew to young womanhood. She was married to Albert M. Olds at Madison on November 10, 1866. Four children were born to this union: Edward C. who died in 1925, Claude M. who died in infancy, J.W. Pearl, whose address is unknown, and a daughter Mrs. Laura E. Vosburg of Rice Lake. In the fall of 1877, they moved to Barron County on a homestead west of Rice Lake. They have resided in and around the city every since. Mr. Olds died in 1913"
