BILLY WAS UNITED IN MARRIAGE TO TERESA GAIL STOUT ON NOVEMBER 22, 1980 IN OVERLAND, MISSOURI, AND TO THIS UNION FIVE CHILDREN WERE BORN.
BILLY IS SURVIVED BY HIS WIFE TERESA DAVIS, THREE SONS, BILLY DAVIS, JR. OF O'FALLON, AUSTIN DAVIS OF O'FALLON, ALLEN DAVIS OF O'FALLON, ONE DAUGHTER, SHERRY WRIGHT AND HUSBAND RANDY OF EAST ALTON, ONE GRANDSON, RANDY WRIGHT, III, FOUR BROTHERS, VERNON DAVIS OF LEMAY, DAN DAVIS AND WIFE DEBBIE OF GIDEON, ROBERT DAVIS OF GIDEON, LARRY DAVIS AND WIFE DIANNA OF LEMAY, THREE SISTERS, SANDRA BRADLEY AND HUSBAND TRUMAN, OF GIDEON, DONNA DAVIS AND FIANCE' TOM DOBBINS OF CLARKTON, AND BY MANY OTHER RELATIVES AND FRIENDS. IN ADDITION TO HIS PARENTS HE WAS ALSO PRECEDED IN DEATH BY ONE DAUGHTER, ASHLEY NICOLE DAVIS, HIS FATHER AND MOTHER-IN-LAW, ORVILLE, SR. AND LOIS( LOUGHARY) STOUT, HIS PARENTS, WILLIAM AND MARGARET DAVIS AND BY ONE SISTER, SHERRY DAVIS AND BY HIS GRANDPARENTS.
VISITATION WAS HELD THURSDAY, JULY 20, 2000, FROM 9:30 A.M. TO 11:30 A.M. AT MOORE FUNERAL HOME IN IRONDALE.
FUNERAL SERVICES WERE CONDUCTED THURSDAY, JULY 20, 2000, AT 11:30 A.M. AT THE IRONDALE CHAPEL WITH REVEREND BRYCE WILSON OFFICIATING. BURIAL WAS IN BIG RIVER CEMETERY UNDER THE DIRECTION OF MOORE FUNERAL HOME, IRONDALE.
SERVING AS PALLBEARERS WERE, TRUMAN BRADLEY, JR., LEE JOHNSON, RANDY WRIGHT, VERNON DAVIS, JR., A.J. ROSE, VERNON LOUGHARY, JR., AARON REED AND SCOTT MCPHERSON.

ALMA BELLE FERGUSON OF POTOSI, MISSOURI, WAS BORN DECEMBER 6, 1908, IN REDFORD, MISSOURI, A DAUGHTER OF THE LATE FRANK AND CORA BELLE (LONESS) HELVEY. ALMA DEPARTED THIS LIFE AT GEORGIAN GARDENS NURSING HOME ON JULY 23, 2000, HAVING REACHED THE AGE OF NINETY-ONE YEARS, SEVEN MONTHS AND SEVENTEEN DAYS.
ALMA WAS UNITED IN MARRIAGE TO RALPH LEROY FERGUSON ON DECEMBER 25, 1931, IN VAN BUREN, MISSOURI.
ALMA IS SURVIVED BY ONE SON, DEAN FERGUSON AND WIFE PHYLLIS OF POTOSI, TWO DAUGHTERS, BEVERLY NEWCOMER AND HUSBAND ALFRED OF POTOSI, ALICE DICKEY AND HUSBAND ROBERT OF SHAWNEE, OKLAHOMA, NINE GRANDCHILDREN, SIXTEEN GREAT GRANDCHILDREN, ONE SISTER, NOLA PRICE OF MCKENZIE, Tennessee AND BY MANY OTHER RELATIVES AND FRIENDS. IN ADDITION TO HER PARENTS AND SPOUSE SHE WAS ALSO PRECEDED IN DEATH BY FOUR BROTHERS AND ONE SISTER.
ALMA WAS A LONGTIME MEMBER OF THE POTOSI SOUTHERN BAPTIST CHURCH.
ALMA ENJOYED COOKING, SEWING AND QUILTING. SHE HAD A SPECIAL PLACE IN HER HEART FOR SHARING BIRTHDAYS AND ALWAYS MADE HER PART OF THE CELEBRATION AS THE BIRTHDAY CAKE BAKER. SHE LOVED TO RELAX AND WATCH THE PRICE IS RIGHT ALONG WITH HER FAVORITE TV PERSONALITY BOB BARKER.
VISITATION WAS HELD TUESDAY, JULY 25, 2000, FROM 4:00 P.M. TO 9:00 P.M. AT MOORE FUNERAL HOME IN POTOSI.
FUNERAL SERVICES WERE CONDUCTED WEDNESDAY, JULY 26, 2000, AT 11:00 A.M. AT THE MOORE CHAPEL WITH REVEREND JOHN EDWARDS OFFICIATING. BURIAL WAS IN NEW MASONIC CEMETERY UNDER THE DIRECTION OF MOORE FUNERAL HOME, POTOSI.
SERVING AS PALLBEARERS WERE, CARL PHILLIPS, JOHN MCCOLLOCH, NORMAN BOWLES, RUSSEL BREAKFIELD, DONNIE LARAMORE, BARRY MCFARLAND AND BOB SMITH.

GLENN SPIER OF IRONDALE, MISSOURI, WAS BORN APRIL 3, 1921, IN IRONDALE, MISSOURI, A SON OF THE LATE ARTHUR SPIER AND ELSIE HELEN (HOAGLAND) TRUSTY. GLENN DEPARTED THIS LIFE AT ST. JOE MANOR NURSING HOME ON JULY 24, 2000, HAVING REACHED THE AGE OF SEVENTY-NINE YEARS, THREE MONTHS AND TWENTY-ONE DAYS.
GLENN WAS UNITED IN MARRIAGE TO EVELYN ANN MORGAN ON APRIL 4, 1942, IN MAPLEWOOD, MISSOURI.
GLENN IS SURVIVED BY ONE SON, PHILLIP SPIER AND WIFE LOLITA OF CABOT, ARKANSAS, FOUR DAUGHTERS, CAROL BAYLESS AND HUSBAND JOHN OF FARMINGTON, PHILLIS CANTRELL AND HUSBAND MARION OF IRONDALE, KAREN BENOIST AND HUSBAND RONNIE OF IRONDALE, PAMALA BAYLESS AND HUSBAND JAMES OF IRONDALE, FOURTEEN GRANDCHILDREN, NINETEEN GREAT GRANDCHILDREN, ONE BROTHER, HAROLD SPIER AND WIFE VICKI, THREE SISTERS, EVELYN WALT OF AFFTON, LUCILLE PRITCHETT AND HUSBAND RAY OF VALLEY PARK, FERN HARTMAN OF HOUSE SPRINGS, SISTERS-IN-LAW, LORRAINE SPIER OF ST. LOUIS, HELEN SPIER OF IRONDALE, MARGIE SPIER OF ST. ANN AND BY MANY OTHER RELATIVES AND FRIENDS. IN ADDITION TO HIS PARENTS AND SPOUSE HE WAS ALSO PRECEDED IN DEATH BY ONE SON, GLENN JOSEPH SPIER, JR., THREE BROTHERS, ARTHUR, EARL AND ROY SPIER.
GLENN WAS A UNITED STATES ARMY VETERAN HAVING SERVED DURING WORLD WAR II AND KOREAN WAR AND HAD SERVED IN THE CCC CAMPS AS A YOUNG MAN. GLENN HAD VOLUNTEERED WITH THE MISSOURI CONSERVATION DEPARTMENT AND ASSISTED IN THE PLANTING OF TREES THROUGHOUT THE WASHINGTON COUNTY AREA. HE WAS A WELL KNOWN MAN IN THE WASHINGTON AND ST. FRANCOIS COUNTIES WHERE HE WAS VERY ACTIVE WITH THE MINERAL POINT LIONS CLUB, BISMARCK VFW POST 6947 AND THE SENIOR CITIZENS CENTERS. GLENN ENJOYED VOLUNTEERING ESPECIALLY WHEN HE WAS PRIVILEGED TO CALL BINGO FOR GEORGIAN GARDENS NURSING HOME AND THE SENIORS WEDNESDAY BINGO GAMES AT THE POTOSI ELKS LODGE. GLENN SERVED AS FIRE CHIEF FOR THE IRONDALE VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT FOR MANY YEARS.
VISITATION WAS HELD TUESDAY, JULY 25, 2000, FROM 5:30 P.M. TO 9:00 P.M. AT MOORE FUNERAL HOME IN IRONDALE.
FUNERAL SERVICES WERE CONDUCTED WEDNESDAY, JULY 26, 2000, AT 2:00 P.M. AT THE MOORE CHAPEL WITH FATHER JIM FRENCH OFFICIATING. BURIAL WAS IN BIG RIVER CEMETERY UNDER THE DIRECTION OF MOORE FUNERAL HOME, IRONDALE.
