Randy Duane Ocheltree
10/4/1957 - 2/2/2008

The cherished husband of Cynthia L. Ocheltree for 27 years, Randy passed away in Roseville on February 2, 2008.
Born on October 4, 1957 in Sacramento to parents Larry and Bernice Ocheltree, Randy is survived by his wife, Cindy, his parents, brother Dan, and sons Rusty and Cory.
A 1975 graduate of Del Oro High School in Loomis, Randy was a resident of Roseville for the past 20 years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, seeking deer and antelope in Wyoming and traveling to Mexico and Guatemala in search of sailfish and marlin. An enthusiastic cook, he loved to barbecue for his friends and family.
A bogey-golfer, Randy organized his own annual golf tournament and served on the Board of Directors of the Roseville Golf Club, where he also organized tournaments. He was a dedicated supporter of the Roseville High School sports program, where both of his sons played football.
Throughout his life, Randy was surrounded by a close-knit group of friends, and loved to plan group vacations, hunting trips, and community events. He was the "glue" that made many special events happen for his friends each year, including "Fish Camp", "Randy O's Golf Tournament", "Deer Camp", "Chili Cook-Off", and the "Big Bowl Fantasy Football League". Randy always had a smile, a cheerful greeting and a cold beer for everyone. He will be dearly missed.
Friends and family are invited to attend a Celebration of Life to be held at the Blue Goose Fruit Shed, 3550 Taylor Road, Loomis, CA at 1 p.m. on Sunday, February 17.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests your attendance at the February 17 celebration, or donations can be made in Randy's memory to the Placer County Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (150 Corporation Yard Road, Roseville, CA 95678).
