GRACE DEPARTED THIS LIFE AT GEORGIAN GARDENS NURSING HOME ON JULY 27, 2000, HAVING REACHED THE AGE OF EIGHTY- EIGHT YEARS, FIVE MONTHS AND TWENTY-NINE DAYS.
GRADE WAS UNITED IN MARRIAGE TO RAYMOND J. BOURISAW ON JANUARY 28, 1936, IN OLD MINES, MISSOURI.
GRACE IS SURVIVED BY TWO AUNTS, CORA COLEMAN OF ST. LOUIS AND THERESA CORDS OF HORINE, TWO SISTERS-IN-LAW, THELMA COLEMAN OF ST. LOUIS AND MARY ALICE THEBEAU OF POTOSI, ONE FOSTER SON, CHARLES DULWORTH OF NEW ORLEANS, LOUISIANNA AND BY MANY NIECES, NEPHEWS OTHER RELATIVES AND FRIENDS. IN ADDITION TO HER PARENTS AND SPOUSE, RAYMOND SHE WAS ALSO PRECEDED IN DEATH BY TWO SISTERS, MARY ALICE COLEMAN PASHIA AND MARY CYNTHIA COLEMAN AND BY ONE BROTHER, RAYMOND FRANCIS COLEMAN.
GRACE WAS A LONGTIME MEMBER OF THE ST. JOACHIM CHURCH, OLD MINES, MISSOURI. GRACE ENJOYED QUILTING AND WORKING WITH FLOWERS. SHE WILL LONG BE REMEMBERED FOR HER TITLE AS A GOOD COOK AS SHE ALWAYS ENJOYED SHARING THAT TALENT WITH FAMILY AND FRIENDS.
GRACE HELD THE TIME SPENT WITH HER FAMILY AND FRIENDS CLOSE TO HER HEART.
VISITATION WAS HELD MONDAY, JULY 31, 2000, FROM 11:00 A.M. TO 9:00 P.M. AT MOORE FUNERAL HOME IN POTOSI.
A FUNERAL MASS WAS CONDUCTED TUESDAY, AUGUST 1, 2000, AT 10:00 A.M. AT ST. JOACHIM CATHOLIC CHURCH WITH FATHER TED PIEPER OFFICIATING. BURIAL WAS IN ST. JOACHIM CEMETERY UNDER THE DIRECTION OF MOORE FUNERAL HOME, POTOSI.
SERVING AS PALLBEARERS WERE, MIKE COLEMAN, DARRELL COLEMAN, CHARLES COLEMAN, PAUL THEBEAU, MAX VILLMER, MARTIN VILLMER, CHARLES PASHIA, KENNY BOURISAW AND VINCENT COLEMAN.

LUCILLE BUXTON OF POTOSI, MISSOURI, WAS BORN DECEMBER 3, 1919, NEAR FAIR PLAY, MISSOURI, A DAUGHTER OF THE LATE JOHN ALVIS AND ETTA FERN (CAMPBELL) CHEEK. LUCILLE DEPARTED THIS LIFE AT WASHINGTON COUNTY MEMORIAL HOSPITAL ON JULY 27, 2000, HAVING REACHED THE AGE OF EIGHTY YEARS, SEVEN MONTHS ANS TWENTY-FOUR DAYS.
LUCILLE WAS UNITED IN MARRIAGE TO LOUIS JACKSON ON NOVEMBER 13, 1940, IN OZARK, MISSOURI AND TWO CHILDREN WERE BORN TO THIS UNION. ON MAY 3, 1969, IN POTOSI, MISSOURI, LUCILLE WAS UNITED IN MARRIAGE TO OSCAR BUXTON.
LUCILLE IS SURVIVED BY ONE SON, DALE JACKSON AND WIFE MARILYN OF POTOSI, ONE DAUGHTER, JUDY GILLAM AND HUSBAND DANNY OF POTOSI, NINE GRANDCHILDREN, LISA SUTTON AND HUSBAND RANDY OF POTOSI, JANA PARKS AND HUSBAND HAROLD OF GAMALIEL, ARKANSAS, RICKEY GILLAM AND WIFE ANGIE OF POTOSI, JOE GILLAM AND WIFE CINDY OF BONNE TERRE, SARA GILLAM OF POTOSI, LUCI JACKSON OF POTOSI, LEE JACKSON OF POTOSI, BROOKE DICKINSON AND HUSBAND LLOYD OF CADET, GORDON LITTON II OF POTOSI, SIX GREAT GRANDCHILDREN, TWO BROTHERS, BUEFORD CHEEK AND WIFE MAXINE OF BOLIVAR, DR. CHARLES CHEEK AND WIFE BARBARA OF ROCHEPORT, ONE SISTER-IN- LAW, EVELYN CHEEK OF BALLWIN, MISSOURI AND BY MANY OTHER RELATIVES AND FRIENDS. IN ADDITION TO HER PARENTS SHE WAS ALSO PRECEDED IN DEATH BY HER FIRST HUSBAND, LOUIS EDWARD JACKSON AND HER SECOND HUSBAND, OSCAR BUXTON, BY TWO BROTHERS, GERALD CHEEK AND JOHN ALDEN CHEEK AND ONE GRANDSON, AARON BOYER.
LUCILLE WAS KNOWN FOR HER GREAT TALENTS AS A SEAMSTRESS PRODUCING QUALITY DRESSES AND SHIRTS FOR HERSELF AS WELL AS HER FAMILY. SHE ALSO ENJOYED PIECING QUILTS AND CROCHETING. LUCILLE HAD A GREAT LOVE FOR CHILDREN AND THUS GUIDED HER INTO A TEACHING CAREER OF 30+ YEARS. DURING HER TEACHING CAREER, LUCILLE RECEIVED TEACHER OF YEAR AWARD. SHE ENJOYED COOKING AND HAD TALENTS TO MAKE AWARD WINNING HOMEMADE NOODLES. LUCILLE CHERISHED THE MANY HOURS SHE HAD SPENT NOT ONLY WITH HER FAMILY AND FRIENDS BUT ESPECIALLY HER GRANDCHILDREN.
LUCILLE WILL BE LONG REMEMBERED BY MANY FOR BEING A BLEACHER COACH AND REFEREE CRITIC DURING SARA'S BALL GAMES.
VISITATION WAS HELD SATURDAY, JULY 29, 2000, FROM 4:30 P.M. TO 9:00 P.M. AT MOORE FUNERAL HOME IN POTOSI.
FUNERAL SERVICES WERE CONDUCTED SUNDAY, JULY 30, AT 2:00 P.M. AT THE CHAPEL WITH ELDER LEONARD COMPTON OFFICIATING. BURIAL WAS IN LINDLEY PRAIRIE CEMETERY IN BEARCREED, MISSOURI, ON MONDAY, JULY 31, AT 1:00 P.M. WITH REVEREND HAROLD HENDRICKSON OFFICIATING.
SERVING AS PALLBEARERS WERE, RICKEY GILLAM, JOE GILLAM, JUSTIN SUTTON, RANDY SUTTON, PAT CHEEK AND MIKE CHEEK.

DONNA MARGUERITE KELLEY OF CALEDONIA, MISSOURI, WAS BORN MAY 31, 1955, IN ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI, A DAUGHTER OF JEANETTE (TIEFENAUER) SCATES AND THE LATE JAMES ROBERT SCATES. DONNA DEPARTED THIS LIFE AT HER RESIDENCE ON AUGUST 1, 2000, HAVING REACHED THE AGE OF FORTY-FIVE YEARS, TWO MONTHS AND ONE DAY.
DONNA IS SURVIVED BY HER HUSBAND, RUSSELL PAUL JONES OF CALEDONIA, TWO SONS, CRAIG KELLEY AND WIFE KRISTI OF MEHLVILLE, KEVIN KELLEY OF IRONTON, ONE DAUGHTER, HEATHER M. KELLEY OF CALEDONIA, ONE GRANDDAUGHTER, GABRIELLE KELLEY, TWO BROTHERS, DAVID M. SCATES AND WIFE DIANE OF WINNEMUCCA, NEVADA, CLIFFORD M. SCATES OF JEFFERSON CITY, HER MOTHER AND FATHER-IN-LAW, BARBARA AND FANCOURT RODERIQUE OF ST. LOUIS AND BY MANY OTHER RELATIVES AND FRIENDS. IN ADDITION TO HER FATHER SHE WAS ALSO PRECEDED IN DEATH BY HER MATERNAL AND PATERNAL GRANDPARENTS.
DONNA HAD A GREAT SPIRIT AND ALWAYS HAD TIME TO LISTEN AND LIGHT UP YOUR TIME WITH HER. DONNA ENJOYED ART, PAINTING WITH OILS ON CANVAS, WORKING WITH CERAMICS, CROCHETING AND OTHER CRAFTS. DONNA HAD A GREAT TALENT IN THE KITCHEN AND LOVED TO COOK FOR FAMILY AND FRIENDS. SHEBA, THE FAMILY DOG, WAS BROUGHT INTO THE FAMILY AND BECAME A LOVED MEMBER BY DONNA, RUSS AND HEATHER.
VISITATION WAS HELD FRIDAY, AUGUST 4, 2000, FROM 12 NOON TO 9:00 P.M. AT MOORE FUNERAL HOME IN POTOSI.

LOUIS, FOUR DAUGHTERS, MARY JO HOPKINS AND FRIEND DAVE OF HOUSE SPRINGS, BRENDA DROEGE AND HUSBAND MARK OF HOUSE SPRINGS, PATRICIA "PATTY" KOLBOW AND HUSBAND ROBERT OF BRANSON, KIMBERLY "KIM" MCLENE OF ST. JOHN WAS A LONG TIME EMPLOYEE OF WILSON TRUCKING SERVICE IN OLD MINES, WHERE HE WAS THE MECHANIC AND BACKBONE OF THE GARAGE. JOHN, HIS WIFE JOANN AND THEIR FAMILY ALSO MANAGED THE BAR BAN LANES BOWLING ALLEY IN POTOSI FOR MANY YEARS. HE ENJOYED SPENDING TIME TINKERING WITH MANY THINGS, ESPECIALLY WITH C.B. RADIO'S. HE ALWAYS LOOKED FORWARD TO THE TIME HE COULD SPARE TO TAKE THE BOAT TO THE LAKE AND ENJOY THE SITES OF MOTHER NATURE.
VISITATION WAS HELD SUNDAY, AUGUST 6, 2000, FROM 11:00 A.M. TO 9:00 P.M. AT MOORE FUNERAL HOME IN POTOSI.
