BRIDGTON Maine – David Lawrence Vaughn, 66, of Edes Falls Road, died February 2, at the Bridgton Hospital. He was born in Dixfield, a son of Lawrence C. and M. Judkins Vaughn.
He worked as a truck driver for his entire working life and most recently for P & K Sand and Gravel in Naples. His passion was to watch David, his grandson race his car at Oxford Plains Speedway. He enjoyed watching NASCAR on television every Sunday afternoon and always rooted for Dale Earnhardt to win.
He was predeceased by his wife Lida Vaughn in 1996.
Surviving are his daughter, Charmane Pitts, of Naples; his son, Rexford, of West Paris; his brother Donald, of Casco; five grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
