HOGGARD, CHRISTY MARTIN, TWO GREAT GRANDCHILDREN, JOHN GARNER, ANNA GARNER, TWO GREAT GREAT GRANDCHILDREN, AUSTIN GARNER, SHAYNA GARNER, THREE BROTHERS, ROY "DINK" PRATT AND WIFE SANDY OF BISMARCK, EDWARD PRATT AND WIFE ELLEN OF IRONDALE, CLIFFORD "SKIP" PRATT AND WIFE MARY OF CENTRALIA, ILLINOIS, THREE SISTERS, LORETTA "CHUB" JAMISON OF FRANKCLAY, WINNIE KNOX OF PARK HILLS, HELEN EICHENBERGER, OF IRONDALE, SISTERS-IN- LAW, NELLIE PRATT OF DESOTO, MYRA PRATT OF BISMARCK AND BY MANY OTHER RELATIVES AND FRIENDS. IN ADDITION TO HIS PARENTS HE WAS ALSO PRECEDED IN DEATH BY HIS WIFE, RUBY PRATT, FOUR BROTHERS, JACK PRATT, ROBERT PRATT, BILL PRATT, ELMER "PUNK" PRATT AND ONE SISTER, EMMA TAYLOR.
EARL HAD A GREAT LOVE FOR HIS LORD GOD AND WAS VERY ACTIVE IN THE CHURCHES MANY ACTIVITIES. HE ALSO TOOK PRIDE IN HIS VOLUNTEER WORK FOR THE CHURCH AS THE MENS BIBLE STUDY TEACHER. HE WAS A FIFTY YEAR MEMBER OF THE MASONIC LODGE AND SHRINERS, A LONGTIME MEMBER OF THE ODD FELLOWS. PRIOR TO HIS RETIREMENT HE WAS EMPLOYED BY MISSOURI PACIFIC RAIL ROAD AND HAD EXTREME PRIDE FOR HIS VOCATION IN THE RAIL ROAD PROFESSION. EARL ENJOYED TAKING TIME OUT OF HIS BUSY SCHEDULE TO GO HUNTING AND FISHING OR JUST RELAX IN THE BEAUTY OF MOTHER NATURE.
VISITATION WAS HELD FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER, 1, 2000, FROM 4:00 P.M. TO 9:00 P.M. AT MOORE FUNERAL HOME IN IRONDALE.
FUNERAL SERVICES WERE CONDUCTED SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 2, 2000, AT 11:00 A.M. WITH REVEREND BRYCE WILSON OFFICIATING. BURIAL WAS IN BIG RIVER CEMETERY UNDER THE DIRECTION OF MOORE FUNERAL HOME, IRONDALE.

ANDREW "SCROOGE" WELKER OF POTOSI, MISSOURI, WAS BORN NOVEMBER 8, 1923, IN FRANKCLAY, MISSOURI, A SON OF THE LATE WILLIAM AND PATSY (BLACK) WELKER. SCROOGE DEPARTED THIS LIFE AT MINERAL AREA REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER ON AUGUST 31, 2000, HAVING REACHED THE AGE OF SEVENTY- SIX YEARS, NINE MONTHS AND TWENTY-THREE DAYS.
SCROOGE WAS UNITED IN MARRIAGE TO NELLIE ADELINE DECLUE ON NOVEMBER 5, 1952, IN POTOSI, MISSOURI.
SCROOGE IS SURVIVED BY ONE DAUGHTER, BARBARA BOUSE AND HUSBAND ED OF POTOSI, THREE GRANDCHILDREN, ANDREA BELL AND HUSBAND SCOTT OF FARMINGTON, MICHAEL VANCE AND WIFE KIM AND FESTUS, ADAM BOUSE AND WIFE SHEENA OF FESTUS, TWO STEP GRANDCHILDREN, MARTY PORTELL AND HUSBAND JARED OF CADET, KELLY BOUSE AND WIFE CINDY OF POTOSI, FIVE GREAT GRANDCHILDREN, CHELSEA, OLIVIA, MADYSON, MICHAELA, ABIGAIL, ONE STEP GRANDCHILD, RACHEL, A DEAR FRIEND, BETTY KEELER, SPECIAL FRIENDS, GENE FRITTS, ERNIE BELINE, SHARON STACY, A SISTER-IN-LAW, LUCY DECLUE OF POTOSI, A BROTHER-IN-LAW, DAVE DECLUE OF GURNIE, ILLINOIS, AND BY MANY OTHER RELATIVES AND FRIENDS. ANDREW WAS A LONGTIME MEMBER OF THE ST. JAMES CATHOLIC CHURCH. HE WAS A UNITED STATES ARMY VETERAN HAVING SERVED FROM FEBRUARY 19, 1943, TO APRIL 13, 1952. HE RECEIVED AN HONORABLE DISCHARGE AND WAS A STAFF SERGEANT. HE WAS A LIFETIME MEMBER OF THE VETERANS OF FOREIGN WARS AND A PAST MEMBER OF THE POTOSI LIONS CLUB. ANDREW ENJOYED HUNTING, FISHING, GOING TO THE BOAT, CARD GAMES ESPECIALLY PINOCHLE AND WATCHING SPORTS ON T.V. SOME OF HIS GREATEST MEMORIES WAS OF HIS SOFTBALL DAYS IN HIS YOUNGER YEARS.

MIKE DIED ON FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 8, 2000 AT THE MINERAL AREA MEDICAL CENTER IN FARMINGTON, MISSOURI AT THE AGE OF FORTY-EIGHT YEARS, NINE MONTHS AND SIX DAYS.
MIKE IS SURVIVED BY HIS LOVING FATHER, CLAUDE COFFMAN; TWO BROTHERS, JAMES H. MIKE ENJOYED WATCHING SUSPENSE MOVIES, ALWAYS KNOWING HOW EACH ONE ENDED BEFORE ANYONE ELSE. MIKE ALWAYS LOOKED FORWARD TO GOING OUT ON THE PONTOON BOAT TO FISH AND BAR B QUE WITH FAMILY AND FRIENDS.
MIKE LOVED TO SPEND TIME TRAVELING THROUGH FARMINGTON VISITING WITH HIS MANY FRIENDS, THEY EACH HELD A VERY DEAR PLACE IN HIS HEART.
