ANTHONY'S MEDICAL CENTER ON MARCH 2, 1999, HAVING REACHED THE AGE OF SEVENTY-FIVE YEARS, ELEVEN MONTHS AND TWELVE DAYS.
BUCK WAS UNITED IN MARRIAGE TO ROSE ANN JOHNSTON ON NOVEMBER 28, 1972, IN FARMINGTON, MISSOURI.
BUCK IS SURVIVED BY HIS WIFE, ROSE ANN RICHARDS OF BLACKWELL, TWO DAUGHTERS, MARY ROSE COLEMAN AND HUSBAND PETE OF BONNE TERRE, TINA GAIL TUTTLE OF DESOTO, THREE STEP DAUGHTERS, MARY JANE PRICE OF IMPERIAL, CARMEN LITTON AND HUSBAND JOHNNY OF BLACKWELL, KATHRYN THOMPSON AND HUSBAND WILLIAM OF BARNHART, TWO STEP SONS, RICHARD L. COLEMAN AND WIFE JEANNE OF FARMINGTON, EDWARD COLEMAN AND WIFE STEPHANIE OF CADET, FOURTEEN GRANDCHILDREN, SIX GREAT GRANDCHILDREN, ONE BROTHER, STEVEN "SONNY" RICHARDS AND WIFE NORMA OF POTOSI, TWO SISTERS, ANNA LEE RICHARDS OF DESOTO, MARIAN "KITTY" EVANS OF Tennessee AND BY MANY OTHER RELATIVES AND FRIENDS. IN ADDITION TO HIS PARENTS HE WAS ALSO PRECEDED IN DEATH BY ONE GRANDSON, DAVID LEE RICHARDS SHORT, ONE BROTHER, BURNHAM RICHARDS, THREE SISTERS, FLORENCE SANSEGRAW, ALICE TURNBOUGH AND SHIRLEY RAMSEY.
PRIOR TO HIS RETIREMENT HE WAS EMPLOYED BY G.T.E. TELEPHONE COMPANY FOR THIRTY-THREE YEARS. BUCK ENJOYED LIFE AND ITS' MANY BLESSING, HIS GREATEST ENJOYMENT WAS TIMES SPENT FARMING, HORSEBACK RIDING AND TRAVELING. HE ENJOYED SPENDING TIME WITH THE MANY GIFTS OF MOTHER NATURE HUNTING AND FISHING AND MOWING THE GRASS TO KEEP THINGS BEAUTIFUL. BUCK LOVED WATCHING BASEBALL AND WAS AN AVID FAN OF THE ST. LOUIS CARDINALS.
BUCK HAD A GREAT LOVE FOR HIS FAMILY AND FRIENDS, THE TIME SPENT WITH HIS GRANDCHILDREN WAS ALWAYS CHERISHED BY HIM.
VISITATION WAS HELD THURSDAY, MARCH 4, 1999, FROM 2:30 P.M. TO 9:00 P.M. AT THE GUM & SON FUNERAL HOME IN POTOSI.
FUNERAL SERVICES WERE CONDUCTED FRIDAY, MARCH 5, 1999, AT 2:00 P.M. AT THE GUM & SON CHAPEL WITH FATHER TED PIEPER OFFICIATING. BURIAL WAS IN ST. JOACHIM CEMETERY UNDER THE DIRECTION OF GUM & SON FUNERAL HOME, POTOSI.
SERVING AS PALLBEARERS WERE, JAMES SHORT, BRANDON COURTOIS, BRADLEY COLEMAN, WILLIAM THOMPSON, JOSEPH COLEMAN AND J.D. RICHARDS.
MARY CATHERINE CAMPBELL
MARY CATHERINE CAMPBELL OF ST. LOUIS, MO WAS BORN AT HERCULANEUM, MO ON MAY 5, 1926. SHE WAS THE DAUGHTER OF THE LATE FELIX AND LOIS (BARTON) CAMPBELL. MARY DEPARTED THIS LIFE AT HER RESIDENCE IN ST. LOUIS, MO ON NOVEMBER 11, 2000 HAVING REACHED THE AGE OF SEVENTY- FOUR YEARS SIX MONTHS AND FIVE DAYS.
SHE IS SURVIVED BY HER SISTER, DORIS DICKSON OF PENSACOLA, FL; TWO SISTERS IN LAW, SARA CAMPBELL YARBROUGH OF POTOSI, BETTY CAMPBELL OF WORTHINGTON, OHIO; SPECIAL FRIEND JAY DIFANI OF DESOTO, MO; AND NUMEROUS NIECES AND NEPHEWS AND A HOST OF FRIENDS AND NEIGHBORS. IN ADDITION TO HER PARENTS SHE WAS ALSO PRECEDED IN DEATH BY FOUR BROTHERS HOWARD CAMPBELL, RALPH CAMPBELL, FRANK CAMPBELL, JOHN CAMPBELL.
MARY CATHERINE WORKED FOR MANY YEARS IN THE CLERICAL DEPARTMENT AT THE RAWLINGS SPORTING GOOD MANUFACTURER IN ST. LOUIS, WHICH WAS INFLUENTIAL IN HER ENJOYMENT OF ALL TYPES OF SPORTS, ESPECIALLY MISSOURI TIGER FOOTBALL.
MARY CATHERINE WAS A LONG TIME MEMBER OF THE HOLY FAMILY CATHOLIC CHURCH IN ST. LOUIS AND WAS WELL KNOWN AS A VERY SKILLFUL PIE AND CAKE BAKER, WITH ONE FAVORITE OF FAMILY AND FRIENDS BEING HER SPECIAL GERMAN CHOCOLATE CAKE.
SHE WILL BE REMEMBERED AS A STRONG CIVIC MINDED INDIVIDUAL WHO ALWAYS ENJOYED VIGOROUS DISCUSSIONS, AND COULD DISAGREE WITHOUT BEING DISAGREEABLE. HER LEISURE TIME WAS SPENT EMBROIDERING GIFTS FOR FAMILY AND FRIENDS.
VISITATION WAS HELD FROM 3:00 PM TO 9:00 PM ON NOVEMBER 12, 2000 AT MOORE FUNERAL HOME IN POTOSI.
FUNERAL SERVICES WAS CONDUCTED AT 8:00 AM ON NOVEMBER 13, 2000 AT ST. JAMES CHURCH WITH FATHER GEORGE GALOVICH OFFICIATING. BURIAL WAS IN CALVARY CEMETERY UNDER THE DIRECTION OF MOORE FUNERAL HOME, POTOSI.

LEASY ALICE YARBROUGH OF POTOSI, MO WAS BORN AT CLARKSTON, MO, ON SEPTEMBER 18, 1921. SHE WAS THE DAUGHTER OF THE LATE SILAS AND IVA (EASTON) STOREY. LEASY DEPARTED THIS LIFE AT ST. ANTHONY'S MEDICAL CENTER IN ST. LOUIS, MO, ON NOVEMBER 13, 2000 HAVING REACHED THE AGE OF SEVENTY-NINE YEARS, ONE MONTH, AND TWENTY-SIX DAYS.
SHE IS SURVIVED BY THREE GRANDCHILDREN, TERRY NIXON AND WIFE JUDY OF DAVENPORT, IOWA, LISA PARKS AND HUSBAND GREG OF FARMINGTON, MO, TIMOTHY NIXON OF POTOSI, MO; FIVE GREAT- GRANDCHILDREN, ALEX AND CHAD NIXON OF DAVENPORT, IOWA. SARA, ERIN AND ADAM PARKS OF FARMINGTON, MO. TWO BROTHERS, ROBERT STOREY OF ST. LOUIS, MO. BILL STOREY AND WIFE BARBARA OF BERKLEY, MO; FOUR SISTERS, HAZEL CONNOR AND HUSBAND HAROLD OF CENTERVILLE, MO, GLENDOLA MICHAEL OF TERRE HAUTE, IN, MARTHA ARCHER OF BONNE TERRE, MO, DEBORAH WALKER AND HUSBAND LYNN OF PEVELY, MO; TWO SISTERS IN LAW AMY STOREY OF PEVELY, MO, AND JOAN STOREY OF POTOSI, MO; HER AUNT LYDIA HOGG OF PERKINS, MO; AND NUMEROUS NEICES, NEPHEWS, OTHER RELATIVES AND FRIENDS. LEASY ENJOYED LIFE TO ITS FULLEST AND THE FULLNESS OF HER LIFE WAS COMPLIMENTED BY THE LOVE FOR HER GRANDCHILDREN AND GREAT GRANDCHILDREN. SHE ENJOYED SPENDING QUALITY TIME WITH THEM WHENEVER POSSIBLE. HER TIME SPENT AT THE SAYERS SENIOR CENTER ALWAYS BROUGHT HER A GREAT DEAL OF ENJOYMENT. ONE OF HER FAVORITE PASTIMES WHILE LIVING AT GEORGIAN GARDENS WAS PLAYING BINGO WITH HER MANY FRIENDS, AND HER FREQUENT TRIPS OUT TO EAT, AT RYAN'S RESTAURANT WITH HER SISTERS.
VISITATION WAS HELD FORM 5:00 PM TO 9:00 PM ON NOVEMBER 14, 2000 AT MOORE FUNERAL HOMES IN POTOSI.
FUNERAL SERVICES WAS CONDUCTED AT 11:00 AM ON NOVEMBER 15. 2000 AT, MOORE CHAPEL WITH BROTHER LEONARE COMPTON OFFICIATING. BURIAL WAS IN ST. FRANCOIS MEMORIAL UNDER THE DIRECTION OF MOORE FUNERAL HOME, POTOSI.

HAZEL HARRIET MCEWEN OF POTOSI, MO. WAS BORN AT PROSPERITY, MO. ON FEBRUARY 9, 1916. SHE WAS THE DAUGHTER OF THE LATE EDMOND AND GRACE (BREWER) MISSEY. HAZEL DEPARTED THIS LIFE AT JEFFERSON MEMORIAL HOSPITAL IN FESTUS, MO. ON NOVEMBER 13, 2000 HAVING REACHED THE AGE OF EIGHTY-FOUR YEARS NINE MONTHS AND FOUR DAYS.
SHE IS SURVIVED BY TWO SONS; EDWARD WILLIAM VINCENT AND WIFE MAUREEN OF POTOSI, MO. AND WILLIAM HOWARD VINCENT OF ASTATULA, FLORIDA. TWO DAUGHTERS, JUDITH ANN BLANFORD AND HUSBAND GARY OF POTOSI, MO. AND REBECCA SUE BALLARD OF POTOSI, MO. DAUGHTER- IN- LAW JEANETTE VINCENT OF POTOSI, MO, TWELVE GRANDCHILDREN, TWENTY GREAT GRANDCHILDREN, TWO GREAT GREAT GRANDCHILDREN, TWO SISTERS, ELSIE SCHMIDT AND HUSBAND THEODORE OF FENTON, MO. VERA KINDER OF POPLAR BLUFF, MO. AND A HOST OF NIECES, NEPHEWS, AND FRIENDS. IN ADDITION TO HER PARENTS SHE WAS ALSO PRECEDED IN DEATH BY, HER HUSBANDS STEPHEN H. VINCENT AND WILLARD G. MCEWEN, THREE BROTHERS; PAUL, LUCIEN, AND KENNETH MISSEY, THREE SISTERS, HELEN DEPEW, YVONNE LUTES, AND EUGENIA MISSEY.
ME-MA, AS HAZEL WAS LOVINGLY KNOWN AS, WAS FIRST AND FOREMOST A WONDERFUL MOTHER AND GRANDMOTHER. ME-MA LOVED HER FAMILY WITH A PASSION AND HER PRIDE IN THEM WAS ALWAYS EVIDENT. SHE WAS A TRULY GRACIOUS LADY, AND ONE WHO NEVER MET A STRANGER AND COULD CONVERSE EASILY WITH ANYONE ABOUT ANY TOPIC. HER SKILLFUL ART OF CONVERSATION WAS JUST ONE OF HER MANY ATTRIBUTES THAT WAS RESPONSIBLE FOR HER SUCCESS IN THE RESTAURANT PROFESSION WHEN SHE OWNED AND OPERATED THE PLAZA CAFE IN POTOSI AND THE LOG CABIN INN AT SHIRLEY, MO. IN LATER YEARS SHE WAS HEAD COOK AT THE Y. M. C. A. TROUT LODGE WHERE SHE MET MANY PEOPLE FROM ALL OVER AND COULD SWAP FISH STORIES DUE TO HER ENJOYMENT OF FISHING DURING HER YOUNGER YEARS.
HAZEL CONTINUED TO STAY ACTIVE DURING THE MOST RECENT YEARS BY VOLUNTEERING WITH THE V. F. W. POST 6996 AUXILIARY, WHERE SHE HAS BEEN A CONTINUOUS MEMBER SINCE 1969, SERVED AS THEIR PRESIDENT IN 1993-94, AND WAS CURRENTLY SERVING AS CHAPLAIN.
HAZEL LOVED PEOPLE AND LIFE AND APPRECIATED THE MANY GIFTS SHE WAS BLESSED WITH THROUGHOUT HER TIME ON EARTH. THOSE WHO HAD THE PRIVILEGE OF KNOWING ME MA ALSO SHARED A BLESSING, THAT OF HAVING A DEAR AND TRUE FRIEND.
VISITATION WAS HELD WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 15, 2000, FROM 6:00 P.M. TO 9:00 P.M. AT MOORE FUNERAL HOME IN POTOSI.
FUNERAL SERVICES WERE CONDUCTED THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 16, 2000, AT 2:00 P.M. AT THE CHAPEL WITH REVEREND MELVIN REED OFFICIATING. BURIAL WAS IN NEW MASONIC CEMETERY UNDER THE DIRECTION OF MOORE FUNERAL HOME, POTOSI.
