HILDA DEPARTED THIS LIFE SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 10, 2001 AT THE PARKLAND HEALTH CENTER AT THE AGE OF SEVENTY-EIGHT YEARS, TEN MONTHS AND ELEVEN DAYS.
HILDA IS SURVIVED BY ONE BROTHER, PAUL E. CHAPMAN AND WIFE VIRGINA OF ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI; THREE SISTERS, EVA IRENE BARBEE OF POTOSI, MISSOURI, ZELMA EATON OF NORTH BALTIMORE, OHIO AND WANEDA L. FORINASH AND HUSBAND JAMES OF IRONDALE, MISSOURI; A SPECIAL NIECE, ROSEMARY (CHAPMAN) DUNAWAY OF FARMINGTON, MISSOURI; SPECIAL NEPHEW, CHARLES CHAPMAN OF PARK HILLS, MISSOURI AND BY MANY OTHER NIECES, NEPHEWS, OTHER RELATIVES AND FRIENDS. IN ADDITION TO HER PARENTS, HILDA WAS ALSO PRECEDED IN DEATH BY FOUR BROTHERS, HADLEY CHAPMAN, HENRY CHAPMAN, HARRY CHAPMAN AND ROBERT CHAPMAN; TWO SISTERS, LUCILLE MOSS ST. GEMME AND GLADINE BICK.
HILDA WAS A RESIDENT OF THE DESLOGE HEALTH CARE CENTER FROM JUNE 1986 TIL HER DEATH. SHE LIVED MOST OF HER LIFE WITH HER PARENTS IN IRONDALE, MISSOURI WHERE SHE ENJOYED EMBROIDERY AND MUSIC. HILDA LOVED TO SPEND TIME WITH PEOPLE AND SHARE THOUGHTS, CONCERNS AND SOLVE THE MANY PROBLEMS OF EVERY DAY LIFE. A KIND AND LOVING SISTER, A CARING AND SHARING FRIEND WHO WILL BE SADLEY MISSED AND LOVINGLY REMEMBERED BY ALL WHO KNEW HER.
VISITATION FOR HILDA WAS HELD MONDAY, FEBRUARY 12, 2001 FROM 4:00 P.M. TO 8:00 P.M. AND TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 13, 2001 AT THE MOORE FUNERAL HOME, IRONDALE, MISSOURI.
FUNERAL SERVICES WERE HELD TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 13, 2001 AT 11:00 A.M. AT THE MOORE MEMORIAL CHAPEL, IRONDALE, MISSOURI WITH REVERENED MICHAEL LOCKHART OFFICIATING. SERVING AS PALL BEARERS WEREDWAYNE FORINASH, HOWARD BARBEE, WILLIAM MOSS, HASKELL MOSS, PAUL CHAPMAN AND JAMES FORINASH. BURIAL WAS AT THE ANTIOCH CEMETERY IN BELGRADE, MISSOURI UNDER THE DIRECTION OF THE MOORE FUNERAL HOMES.
GLADYS S. COURTWAY
GLADYS SERENE COURTWAY OF CADET, MISSOURI WAS BORN FRIDAY, DECEMBER 14, 1928 IN GIBSON COUNTY, Tennessee. A DAUGHTER OF THE LATE BEN B. AND OMA FLO (McKNIGHT) WILLIAMS. GLADYS DIED MONDAY, MARCH 5, 2001 AT THE ST. ANTHONY'S MEDICAL CENTER AT THE AGE OF SEVENTY-TWO YEARS, TWO MONTHS AND NINETEEN DAYS.
GLADYS WAS UNITED IN MARRIAGE TO HARRY "HOMER" COURTWAY ON JUNE 6, 1946 IN ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI. HOMER PRECEDED HIS WIFE IN DEATH ON APRIL 15, 1995.
GLADYS IS SURVIVED BY THREE DAUGHTERS, RITA MCNAIL AND HUSBAND JACK OF LESTERVILLE, MISSOURI, BRENDA SHAUMANN AND HUSBAND GEORGE OF ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI, CANDIA BOURBON AND HUSBAND CARL OF CADET, MISSOURI; FOUR SONS, STANLEY COURTWAY AND WIFE LINDA OF BRANSON, MISSOURI, DAVID COURTWAY AND WIFE ROBERTA OF ARCADIA, MISSOURI, JERRY COURTWAY AND WIFE JUDY OF PALM COAST, FLORIDA, ROBERT COURTWAY AND WIFE CHERYL OF CADET, MISSOURI; ONE STEP SON, DONALD COURTOIS AND WIFE LINDA OF ARKANSAS; ONE BROTHER, BENJO WILLIAMS OF MUNSIE, INDIANA; THREE SISTERS ADELINE WILLIAMS OF ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI, BLONDELL RICE OF ELSBERRY, MISSOURI AND AUDRY TANNER OF DALLAS, GEORGIA; NINETEEN GRANDCHILDREN, TWENTY-FIVE GREAT GRANDCHILDREN AND BY MANY NEICES, NEPHEWS, OTHER REALITIES AND FRIENDS. IN ADDITION TO HER PARENTS AND HUSBAND, GLADYS WAS ALSO PRECEDED IN DEATH BY THREE BROTHERS, BILL WILLIAMS, ROBERT WILLIAMS AND LEROY WILLIAMS AND BY ONE DEAR GRANDSON, BOBBY COURTWAY.
GLADYS LOVED TO EMBROIDER AND MAKE QUILTS. SHE ENJOYED READING BOOKS AND SPENDING CHERISHED TIME WITH HER FAMILY. GLADYS DEARLY LOVED THE HOLIDAYS, AS EVERYONE WOULD GATHER TO VISIT FOR THE DAY. SPRING WAS HER FAVORITE TIME OF YEAR WHEN EVERYTHING STARTED BLOOMING AND SHOWING NEW LIFE. THE DOGWOOD TREES AND ROSES WERE HER FAVORITE GIFT FROM MOTHER NATURE.
VISITATION WAS HELD AT 3:30 PM TO 9:00 PM ON WEDNESDAY MARCH 7, 2001 AT THE MOORE FUNERAL HOME IN POTOSI.
FUNERAL SERVICES WAS CONDUCTED AT THE 11:00 AM ON THURSDAY MARCH 8 AT THE MOORE FUNERAL CHAPEL WITH BROTHER BOB BULLOCK OFFICIATING. BURIAL WAS IN THE RED BUD CEMETERY UNDER THE DIRECTION OF MOORE FUNERAL HOME, POTOSI.
SERVING AS PALLBEARERS WERE, DARRYL DAHLEY, TODD COURTWAY, JERRY COURTWAY JR., SHANE JONES, NATHAN COURTWAY AND JOEY BOURBON.

RUTH I. WALTER OF BISMARCK, MO WAS BORN AT ST. LOUIS, MO ON FEBRUARY 17, 1925. SHE WAS THE DAUGHTER OF THE LATE JAMES AND SIENNA (GRASHAM) BRUNNER. RUTH DEPARTED THIS LIFE AT THE MINERAL AREA REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER IN FARMINGTON, MO ON MARCH 6, 2001 HAVING REACHED THE AGE OF SEVENTY SIX YEARS, AND SEVENTEEN DAYS.
SHE IS SURVIVED BY FOUR DAUGHTERS; RUTH ANN MARLER OF BISMARCK, CAROLINE JONES AND HUSBAND DEREK OF BELLEVIEW, HATTI LABERER AND HUSBAND MICHAEL OF BARNHART, AND ROSE MARY BELL AND HUSBAND DOUG OF BISMARCK; TWO SONS; CHESTER LEE WALTER AND WIFE JEANNIE OF BISMARCK, AND RON WALTER AND WIFE SHERRY OF GRAY SUMMIT; TWO BROTHERS; RUSSELL BRUNNER OF BARNHART AND WILLIS BRUNNER AND WIFE TILLEY OF LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA, SEVENTEEN GRANDCHILDREN AND FIFTEEN GREAT GRANDCHILDREN. IN ADDITION TO HER PARENTS SHE WAS ALSO PRECEDED IN DEATH BY TWO BROTHERS; FRANCIS AND LLOYD BRUNNER, GRAND DAUGHTER MEGAN BELL, AND SON-IN-LAW KENNETH MARLER.
RUTH LOVED SEWING AND QUILTING AND HAD MADE A QUILT FOR EACH MEMBER OF HER FAMILY, EACH DONE WITH HER KIND HANDS AND ALL THE LOVE IN HER HEART. SHE ENJOYED WORKING ON CRAFTS OF ALL KINDS. RUTH HAD A GREAT JOY FOR THE COUNTRY SIDE AND ALWAYS TOOK LONG WALKS TO SEE THE MANY GIFTS OF MOTHER NATURE. SHE WOULD RELAX AS SHE WATCHED OLD MOVIES.
RUTH HAD A VERY WARM PLACE IN HER HEART FOR EACH OF HER FAMILY MEMBERS, SHE WAS ALWAYS WILLING TO LISTEN AND GIVE A HUG TO ANY OF THEM.

FRONIE BROWN REED OF EUFAULA ALABAMA, FORMALLY OF IRONDALE MISSOURI, WAS BORN AT ELVINS, MISSOURI ON JUNE 14, 1914. SHE WAS THE DAUGHTER OF THE LATE JOHN BROWN AND RACHEL (HAMPTON) BROWN PARROTT. FRONIE DEPARTED THIS LIFE AFTER A LONG ILLNESS AT CROWNE HEALTH CARE IN EUFAULA, ALABAMA ON MARCH 7, 2001 HAVING REACHED THE AGE OF EIGHTY SIX YEARS.
SHE IS SURVIVED BY TWO SISTERS; GOLDIE AND DOVIE WOOD OF FLORISSANT, MISSOURI; DAUGHTER IN LAW, BETTY REED; FIVE GRANDCHILDREN; KENNETH REED AND WIFE SUSAN OF WETUMPKA, ALABAMA, JOHN CURTIS REED OF WETUMPKA, ALABAMA, MONA REED BAILEY OF PRATTVILLE, ALABAMA, TERESA REED WATKINS AND HUSBAND JOHN OF EUFAULA, ALABAMA AND REBECCA REED OF EUFAULA, ALABAMA; TEN GREAT GRANDCHILDREN AND TWO GREAT GREAT GRANDCHILDREN ALL FROM ALABAMA, AND MANY NIECES AND NEPHEWS.
FRONIE HAD BEEN A LONG TIME COOK AT THE IRONDALE SCHOOL.
