Harold N. Miller
Harold N. Miller, 77, of Grand Prairie, Texas, formerly of Hopwood, Pa., died Saturday, Feb. 17, 2001, in Irving, Texas.
Mr. Miller was born Sept. 28, 1923, in Wynn, Pa., the son of Archie William and Leona Blanche Kelley Miller. He owned and operated a trucking company in Irving and had retired in 1983 after serving as a pilot with American Airlines for 32 years.
He was a 1941 graduate of North Union Township High School in Uniontown, Pa., and attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
He was a pilot in the Air Force during World War II and was of the Protestant faith.
He was married to Charlene McClaren.
Surviving are six children, Marilyn Fate of Annapolis, Md., Mark Miller of Grand Prairie, Texas, David Miller of Irving, Jeffrey Miller of Boulder, Colo., and Meagan Little and Michele Veldboom, both of Ontario, Canada; a sister, Retha Jordan of Berkeley Springs, W.Va.; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A son, Scott Alan Miller, is deceased.
A memorial service will be at noon Saturday at Dean C. Whitmarsh Funeral Home, Fairchance, Pa., with the Rev. William Large officiating. Burial will be private.

Mary A. Cooke
Mary Ann Bridget Kenny Cooke, 94, of Inwood, W.Va., died Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2001, at her home.
Mrs. Cooke was born June 4, 1906, in New York City, the daughter of Joseph Kieran Kenny and Elizabeth Doolan Kenny. She worked for the New York City Housing Authority for 25 years and retired in 1971. She had worked for R.H. Macy & Co. and the Internal Revenue Service.
She was a member of St. Leo Catholic Church, Inwood.
She was married to Edward Cooke, who died in 1976.
Surviving is a daughter, Elizabeth Alice Cooke of Inwood.
A Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Leo Catholic Church, Inwood, with the Rev. Brian Shoda officiating. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, N.Y., at a later date.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at South Berkeley Chapel, Inwood, where a Rosary service will be at 8:30 p.m.

Jessica A. Miller
Jessica Anne Miller, 18, of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., died Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2001, in Morgan County War Memorial Hospital, Berkeley Springs.
Miss Miller was born Nov. 2, 1982, in Baltimore, the daughter of Bridgett Ann Brooks and Charles Franklin “Bobby” Miller. She attended Berkeley Springs High School and worked as a sales clerk with Dollar General Store in Berkeley Springs.
Surviving with her father, of Berkeley Springs, are three sisters, Jennifer Greene, Christy Miller, and Elizabeth Diaz, all of Baltimore; a brother, David Miller of Baltimore; her paternal grandparents, John “Jack” and Frances M. Hayes Miller Matthews of Baltimore; and her maternal grandmother, Claire Elizabeth Mellus Brooks of Baltimore.
A funeral will be at 8 p.m. Saturday at Helsley-Johnson Funeral Home, Berkeley Springs, with Pastor George Hopkins officiating. Burial will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in Greenway Cemetery, Berkeley Springs.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Pricilla L. Dailey
Pricilla L. Dailey, 60, of Frederick County, died Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2001, in Winchester Medical Center.
Ms. Dailey was born Sept. 7, 1940, in Ridge, W.Va., the daughter of Lawrence R. and Hazel Brannon Dailey. She was a private duty health care sitter and had worked in produce at National Fruit Product Co.
She was a member of Winchester Seventh-day Adventist Church and the Izaac Walton League.
Surviving are two brothers, Donald R. Dailey of Hagerstown, Md., and Ellwood R. Dailey Sr. of Frederick County.
A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Chestnut Grove Cemetery, with the pastor of the Seventh-day Adventist Church officiating.

Nora Grace Judy, 78, of Paw Paw, W.Va., died Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2001, in Hampshire Health Care Center, Romney, W.Va.
Mrs. Judy was born July 4, 1922, in Harman, W.Va., the daughter of Charles Daniel and Laura Belle Imes Judy. She had worked at Crown Cork & Seal in Winchester.
Surviving are a daughter, Louise J. Brown of Paw Paw; a son, Larry O. Judy of Wardensville, W.Va.; a sister, Anna Marie Shrout of Winchester; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Kimble Funeral Home, Paw Paw, with the Rev. Herman Goede officiating. Burial will be in Woodrow Cemetery, Paw Paw.

Nancy P. Rutherford
Nancy P. “Shorty” Rutherford, 86, of Leetown Road, Charles Town, W.Va., died Thursday, March 1, 2001, in Jefferson Memorial Hospital, Ranson, W.Va.
Mrs. Rutherford was born Sept. 23, 1914, in Charles Town, the daughter of Benjamin Franklin Porter and Ruth Downing Porter. She was instrumental in the establishment of the Jefferson County Animal Welfare Home in Charles Town, which she operated for 43 years.
She had worked for White’s Grocery Store and Dixie Narco. She attended Charles Town High School.
She was a volunteer at the Charles Town Senior Center and a member of the Berkeley County Humane Society, the AARP, and Charles Town Presbyterian Church.
She attended Heritage Free Will Baptist Church and Grace Fellowship Church.
She was married to Woodrow W. “Woody” Rutherford. Her first husband was Charles Pringle.
Surviving are a son, Dr. William “Bill” Pringle of Bridgeport, W.Va.; a foster son, Charles V. “Sam” Taylor, at home; a sister, Marguerite Mason of Martinsburg, W.Va.; and five grandchildren.
A son, Charles F. “Buddy” Pringle, is deceased.

Winifred Y. Clore
Winifred Yost Clore, 76, of Culpeper, died Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2001, in America House Assisted Living, Culpeper.
Mrs. Clore was born in Winchester, the daughter of Edwin C. and Ruth Talbert Yost. She was co-owner of Clore Funeral Home and Zeuswyn Farm.
She was a supporter of St. Luke’s School in Culpeper and the Northern Virginia 4-H Center in Front Royal. She was a member of Culpeper Country Club.
She hosted young cancer patients from Camp Fantastic for many years at Zeuswyn Farm.
She was married to James Carlton “Zeus” Clore for 48 years.
Surviving are two daughters, Victoria Clore McGregor of Columbia, S.C., and Susan Clore Caldwell of Culpeper; a son, James Carlton Clore Jr. of Madison; a sister, Lois Boyce of Berryville; a brother, Edwin C. Yost Jr. of Valrico, Fla.; and four grandchildren.
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Hebron Lutheran Church, Madison.

Ms. Gardner was born Oct. 2, 1933, in Romney, W.Va., the daughter of Margie Streets Beckwith and stepdaughter of Dewey Beckwith. She was retired from the Hampshire Review in Romney.
Surviving is a sister, Anna Mae Denmark of Winchester.

Robert E. Stull
Robert Eugene Stull, 65, of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., died Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2001, at his home.
Mr. Stull was born Feb. 25, 1935, in Berkeley Springs, the son of Paul Eugene and Edna Irene Everett Stull. He was night auditor at Coolfont Resort in Berkeley Springs and had retired in 1990 as a materials handler with Mack Truck in Hagerstown, Md.
He was a 1953 graduate of Berkeley Springs High School and an Air Force veteran of the Korean War.
He was a member of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, Berkeley Springs, where he served on the Vestry and was a Junior Warden, Senior Warden, and treasurer since 1972. He was a Lay Reader with the Order of Jerusalem.
He was a member, finance officer, and commander of Alderton-Dawson American Legion Post 60 in Berkeley Springs. He was an active member of the Tri-State Honor Guard and past president of the Shirley Farms Homeowners Association.
He was married to Cynthia May Ferris.
Surviving with his wife are three daughters, Gaynell L. Stull of Charlotte, N.C., Sharon Abdelaal of Berkeley Springs, and Theresia Hayes of Paw Paw, W.Va.; two sons, Alexander Parker of Minneapolis and Andrew Parker Jr. of Fredericksburg; three sisters, Paulette Stull of Berkeley Springs, and Mary Helen Snow and Sylvia Stull, both of Martinsburg, W.Va.; a brother, Paul Edgarlee Stull of Berkeley Springs; and 10 grandchildren.
A funeral will be at 6 p.m. Saturday at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, Berkeley Springs, with the Rev. Sarah E. Bailey officiating. Military honors will be accorded by the Tri-State Honor Guard. Burial will be private.

Donald Earl “Joe” Andrews Jr., 43, of Front Royal, died Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2001, in Johns Hopkins Medical Center, Baltimore.
Mr. Andrews was born June 1, 1957, in Front Royal, the son of Donald E. and Helen Virginia Knight Andrews. He was owner of Joe’s Home Air Conditioning of Front Royal and was a master HVAC contractor.
He was a member of Rivermont Baptist Church, Front Royal.
He married Pamela McInturff on Nov. 5, 1977, in Front Royal.
Surviving with his wife are two sons, D.J. Andrews and Seth Andrews, both at home; his maternal grandmother, Louise Eaton of Front Royal; and three brothers, Jody Andrews, Ronnie Andrews, and Daniel Andrews, all of Front Royal.
