Irene L. Weakley
Irene Larrick Weakley, 94, of Winchester, died Thursday, Dec. 21, 2000, in a local nursing home.
Mrs. Weakley was born June 9, 1906, in Lehew, W.Va., the daughter of John William and Rosa LaFollate Larrick. She had been a seamstress at Bell Clothes in Winchester.
She was a member of Braddock Street United Methodist Church.
She married Wesley R. Weakley in 1925 in Hagerstown, Md. Mr. Weakley died in 1983.
Surviving are two daughters, Arlene W. Slaughter of Winchester and Kathleen W. Lemley of Christiansburg; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Shenandoah Memorial Park, with the Rev. John J. Kelchner officiating.

Rose Rita Malandruccolo, 88, of 110 Chalmers Court, Berryville, formerly of Philadelphia, died Saturday, Dec. 16, 2000, in a local nursing home.
Mrs. Malandruccolo was born Jan. 26, 1912, in Philadelphia, the daughter of Nicholas and Mary Gro. She was a homemaker and a member of Annunciation Church of Philadelphia.
She was married to Joseph Malandruccolo, who died Nov. 27, 1985.
Surviving are a daughter, Joyce Matheny of Winchester; and a son, Chester A. Malandruccolo of Chesilhust, N.J.
A funeral will be at noon Wednesday in Holy Cross Cemetery, Philadelphia, with Father Edward Casey officiating. Entombment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.

Burton Ostrander
Burton Ostrander, 86, of 1659 Orchard Road, Mt. Jackson, died Friday, Dec. 15, 2000, in Rose Hill Nursing Home, Berryville.
Mr. Ostrander was born Dec. 18, 1914, in Philadelphia, the son of Ruben and Marie Ostrander. He was a salesman for Sun Beam Appliances and had worked for James Madison University.
He was a Navy veteran of World War II .
He was a member of St. Andrews Episcopal Church in Mt. Jackson and Elks Lodge 867 of Winchester. He was past general manager of the New Market Rebels.
A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Hudson Cross Roads Cemetery, with the Rev. William Pendleton officiating.

Patricia L. Pride
Patricia L. Pride, 68, of Green Street, Winchester, died Sunday, Dec. 17, 2000, in Winchester Medical Center.
Mrs. Pride was born April 14, 1932, in Emporium, Pa., the daughter of John E. and Mildred I. Seabring Kinsler. She was a homemaker and a member of the Episcopal faith.
She married Duane A. Pride on Dec. 22, 1950, in Hagerstown, Md. Mr. Pride died April 8, 1987.
Surviving with her mother, of Emporium, are three daughters, Nancy Chambers, Laurie Leamman, and Jennifer Leaverton, all of Winchester; two sons, Timothy Pride of LaPorte, Texas, and John Pride of Winchester; a sister, Margaret Grimore of Emporium; two brothers, Timothy Kinsler of Emporium and James Kinsler of Allegany, N.Y.; nine grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
A funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Christ Episcopal Church, with the Rev. Douglas McCaleb officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hebron Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Joshua Chambers, Justin Armel, John Ramey, Christopher Kinsler, Christopher Heglen, Paul Liess, Nicholas Leaverton, and Marty Armel.

Jane Wingfield Robinett, 92, of 705 Mahone Drive, Winchester, died Sunday, Dec. 17, 2000, in Winchester Medical Center.
Mrs. Robinett was born Sept. 25, 1908, in Roanoke, the daughter of Edward S. and Myrtis Coleman Wingfield. She was a secretary with the Virginia State Health Department in Norfolk.
She was a member of Baylake United Methodist Church in Virginia Beach.
She was married to Herman A Robinett, who died Jan. 21, 1961.
Surviving are two sons, Thomas R. Robinett of Winchester and Herman A. Robinett Jr. of Virginia Beach; three grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
A graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Norfolk, with the Rev. Ted E. David officiating.

Nancy Davis Smith, 70, of 15 Jessica Place, Toms Brook, died Sunday, Dec. 17, 2000, in Winchester Medical Center.
Mrs. Smith was born Feb. 18, 1930, the daughter James and Viola Stevenson Davis. She was a licensed child caregiver and an artist.
She attended Mt. Olive United Methodist Church, where she was a former member of the choir.
She was married to Robert Frederick Smith.
Surviving are a son, Paul R. Smith of Richmond; a daughter, Deborah P. Kane of Toms Brook; a sister, Phyllis West of Annandale; and two grandchildren.
A funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Mt. Olive United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Jody Osborne officiating. Burial will be in Toms Brook Cemetery.

Robert H. Ehrenberg Jr.
Robert Henry Ehrenberg Jr., 67, of Charles Town, W.Va. died Friday Dec. 15, 2000, in Winchester Medical Center
He was born March 6, 1933, in Elizabeth, N.J., the son of Robert H. and Dorothy Louise Reid Ehrenberg.
He was a bookkeeper for Molding Millwork Co. of Martinsburg, W.Va. He served in the U.S. Air Force Intelligence during the Korean Conflict.
Survivors include a daughter, Dorothy Frances Ehrenberg of Budd Lake, N.J.; a son, Robert H. Ehrenberg III of Parkton, Md.; a sister, Bettina Finnegan of Morristown, N.J.; and three brothers, Kurt Ehrenberg of Payson, Ariz., George Ehrenberg of Brooklyn, Pa., and Paul Ehrenberg of Scottsdale, Ariz.
A memorial service will be at a later date. Arrangements are being handled by Michael R. Phelps and Associates Funeral Directors.

Wilda Perry Goldman, 87, of 210 W. Main St., Berryville died Thursday Dec. 14, 2000, in a local nursing home.
She was born Oct. 19, 1913 in Marion, Ky., the daughter of W. H. and Nellie Adams Perry.
She was employed as an accounting assistant in the U.S. Government Accounting Office in Washington, D.C.
Her first husband was Lawrence Harris who is deceased and her second husband was Edward Goldman who is deceased.
She was a member of St. Mary’s Episcopal Church in Arlington, Duncan Memorial United Methodist Church, Shenandoah Retreat, and a business sorority.
Survivors include a niece, Jean Wiley of Clifton; and a nephew, John Erickson of Lakewood, Colo.
A funeral will be at 9:45 a.m. today at Enders and Shirley Funeral Home Chapel in Berryville with the Rev. William K. Dawson officiating. Burial will be in Fairfax Memorial Park in Fairfax.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Esther Funkhouser, 76, of 94 South Ave., Harrisonburg, formerly of Baker Lane, Winchester, died Sunday Dec. 17, 2000, in Harrisonburg.
Mrs. Funkhouser was born July 14, 1924, in Bluefield, W.Va., the daughter of Emmett K. and Flora Lou Noe Thompson
She was a homemaker. She married Thomas A. Funkhouser Sept. 20, 1960, in Hagerstown, Md. He died in November of 1989.
Survivors include a son, Richard K. Funkhouser of Winchester; two sisters, Lillie Belcher of Bluefield, W.Va. and Margaret Doring of Fenton, Mo.; and two brothers, Charles Thompson of Bluefield and Emmet Thompson of Hagerstown.
A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Baker Cemetery in Baker, W.Va.

Edwin Linwood Keiter, 83, of 930 Woodstock Lane, died Saturday Dec. 16, 2000, in the Winchester Medical Center.
Mr. Keiter was born Aug. 12, 1917, in Frederick County, the son of John William and Mary Esther Pugh Keiter.
He retired from Avtex Corporation in 1979 after 37 years of service. He was a member of Market Street United Methodist Church.
He married Lottie Ilee Mowery Dec. 16, 1939, in Winchester.
Survivor with his wife are two daughters, Joyce K. McKay of Winchester and Carole K. Ward of Salado, Texas; a sister, Edith Symons of Martinsburg, W.Va.; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel with the Rev. Valerie Ritter and the Rev. Robert Throckmorton Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hebron Cemetery.

Surviving with her parents are a brother, Anthony Jay Sargent at home; paternal grandparents, Marlene and Harold Deve of Cow Run, W.Va., paternal grandfather, Dwayne Lane of Abbott, W.Va.; maternal grandparents, Zella and Rolan Rhodes of Buckhannon, W.Va.; and maternal great-grandmother, Tressie Adkins of Clay County, W.Va.
