Ida T. Corbin
WINCHESTER, Va. - Ida Trussell Carper Corbin, 82, of Winchester, died Friday, Nov. 27, 1998, at her home.
Born May 31, 1916, in Clark County, Va., she was the daughter of the late Frances Marion Trussell and Delia Dove Trussell.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Joseph Carper and her second husband, Robert F. Corbin.
She formerly was employed by National Fruit for 15 years, where she was a trimmer.
She was a member of Greenwood United Methodist Church in Winchester, and Women's Christian Service.
She is survived by one daughter, Betty Barcol of Winchester, with whom she resided; one sister, Irene Trussell of Arlington, Va.; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Susan Carper and Agnes Clem; and two grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Greenwood United Methodist Church. The Rev. David Smith will officiate.
The family will receive friends at the home of her daughter, Betty Barcol, 308 Shawnee Ave., Winchester, Va. 22601.
Arrangements are by Rosedale Funeral Chapel in Martinsburg.
Thomas H. Eubanks III
HERNDON, Va. - Thomas H. "Todd" Eubanks III, 28, of 1700 Whitewood Lane, died Monday, Nov. 30, 1998, of injuries sustained in an automobile accident that also claimed the life of his wife, Stephanie L. Davis Eubanks, on Route 15 near Herndon.
Born Aug. 3, 1970, in Atlanta, Ga., he was the son of Thomas H. and Mary A. Abendroth Eubanks Jr. of Plano, Texas.
He was a graduate of Duke University.
He was employed with Seneca Support Technologies of Vienna, Va.
He was a member of St. Andrews United Methodist Church of Plano.
He was a member of Chi Psi Fraternity.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by two brothers, Michael A. Eubanks of Palo Alto, Calif. and Brian C. Eubanks of Atlanta.
A joint service for him and his wife will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at Salem Reformed Church in Maugansville. The Rev. Sharon L. Forbes, the Rev. D. Stuart Dunnan and the Rev. C. Robert Hasley will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Gerald N. Minnich Funeral Home, 305 N. Potomac St., Hagerstown.

Stephanie L. Eubanks
HERNDON, Va. - Stephanie L. Eubanks, 28, of 1700 Whitewood Lane, died Monday, Nov. 30, 1998, of injuries sustained in an automobile accident that also claimed the life of her husband, Thomas H. Eubanks III, near Herndon.
Born Nov. 4, 1970, she was the daughter of Rodger W. and Ellen L. Binkley Davis Jr. of Hagerstown.
She was a graduate of Clear Spring High School; Duke University. She received her master's degree in foreign policy from American University in Washington, D.C.
She was a defense policy analyst with SAIC of McLean, Va.
She was a member of Salem Reformed Church, where she and her husband were married
on July 8, 1994.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by a sister, Cynthia A. Sharer of Gerrardstown, W.Va.; twin nephews, Aaron R. Sharer and Taylor D. Sharer; maternal grandparents, P. Nevin and Thelma Kershner Binkley of Greencastle, Pa.; and paternal great-grandmother, Laura M. Goller of Cherry Run, W.Va.

Martha A. Smoot
WINCHESTER, Va. - Martha Ann Smoot, 81, of 112 Wollaston Drive and formerly of Charles Town, W.Va., died Thursday, Dec. 3, 1998, at Winchester Medical Center, Winchester.
Born July 12, 1917, in Rappahannock, Va., she was the daughter of the late John Henry and Betty Jane Jenkins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Jackson Smoot, in 1986.
She is survived by three daughters, Shirley S. Swart of Aldie, Va., Rachel S. Pierson of Charles Town and Martha "Liz" Moler of Ranson, W.Va.; four sons, John J. Smoot of Winchester, Gideon E. Smoot of Catlett, Va., Kenneth O. Smoot of Winchester and Jackie Smoot of Charles Town; six sisters, Gladys Jenkins of Sperryville, Va., Ruth Leake of Culpeper, Va., Margaret Weaver of Banco, Va., Ethel Jenkins of Etlan, Va., Nina Rose Jenkins of Sperryville and Nancy Meredith of Culpeper; two brothers, James Jenkins of Culpeper and Andrew Jenkins of Banco; 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Roger Lee Smoot; a sister, Marie Smoot; four brothers, Clarence Jenkins, Gideon Jenkins, Tom Jenkins and John Henry Jenkins.
Services will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Eackles-Spencer Funeral Home, 970 Washington St., Harpers Ferry, W.Va. The Rev. Douglas Fraim will officiate. Burial will be in Fairview Lutheran cemetery, Bolivar, W.Va.
The family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

James W. Wise
STRASBURG, Va. - James Woodrow Wise, 71, of Strasburg, died Tuesday, Dec. 8, 1998, at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Martinsburg, W.Va.
Born Feb. 10, 1927, in District Heights, Md., he was the son of the late John A. and Carole M. Wells Wise.
He was a self-employed electronic design engineer.
A veteran of World War II, he served in the U.S. Navy and U.S. Marine Corps.
He was of the Catholic faith.
He was a member of American Legion; Veterans of Foreign Wars; and Disabled Veterans of America.
He is survived by his wife, Ardell T. Wise; two daughters, Terrance T. Thorne and Jimmie Ann Garner, both of Waldorf, Md.; a sister, Marjorie Dickie of Washington, D.C.; a brother, Robert G. Wise of Hyattsville, Md.; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
There will be a private burial at Cheltenham Veterans cemetery in Cheltenham, Md.

Houston P. Wedlock
BERRYVILLE, Va. - Houston Paul Wedlock, 83, of Berryville, died Tuesday, Dec. 8, 1998, at his home.
Born June 10, 1915, in Warren County, Va., he was the son of the late David and Fannie Wedlock.
He was a member of Ebenezer Mountain Calvary Holy Church, Summit Point, W.Va.
He was employed as an orchard laborer for Moore and Dorsey for 20 years.
He is survived by four daughters, Betty Underwood and Pamela Underwood, both of Summit Point, and Diane Habeebula and Nancy Miles, both of Baltimore; four sons, Houston Douglas Wedlock of Columbia, Md., Bobby Mitchell Wedlock of Waldorf, Md., George Roger Wedlock and Harry Thomas Wedlock, both of Baltimore; 13 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Mitilda Whitmore and Laura Wedlock; and two brothers, David Wedlock and Harry Wedlock.
Services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Jefferson Chapel Funeral Home, Ranson. Minister Gary Doleman will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Olive cemetery, White Post, Va.
The family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
