Catherine Adele Cary, 70, of Unionville, Born February 12, 1932 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, she was daughter of the late Mamie Shirley. She was a retired nurse.
Survivors include a number of cousins and friends.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday, October 9, at Orange Grove Baptist Church with Cemetery at Unionville. Pastor Perry Moore officiated.

Virginia N. Colvin
Virginia Nelson (Jenny) Colvin, 85, of Aroda, who lived with her sister-in-law, Lillie Colvin, born November 30, 1916 in Madison County, daughter of the late Lester O. Colvin and Sallie Carpenter Colvin. She was a member of Walker’s United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a sister, Odie Jenkins of Alexandria; a brother, Arthur E. Colvin of Rockville, Maryland and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in interment in Walker’s United Methodist Church died October 1, 2002. He was interment in Emanuel Episcopal Church died Tuesday, October 1, 2002. He was grandson of Jay and Sylvia McDevitt of Catlett, Alcide and Laura Bouchard of Portage Lake, Maine, Debra Moir of Ashland, Maine, Rodney and Bonnie Pinkham of Somersworth, New Hampshire; great-grandchild of Mr. and Mrs. John F. McDevitt of Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, Elmer and Shirley Gaetz of Berwick, Maine, Robert and Shirley Pinkham of Dover, New Hampshire, and the late Winnie Howes; nephew of Sylvia McDevitt of Orange, Alexander Johnson, Anna Johnson, Shelly Bolsteridge of Ashland, Maine, Cory Dieicco, Robert, Timothy and Heather Pinkham of Dover.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, October 5, at Moser Funeral Home in Warrenton.

James Younger
James (Flash) Younger, 83, of Orange, Born May 3, 1919 in Orange County, he was son of the late Garfield and Anna Younger. His wife was the late Rosa Mae Jackson Younger. He was also preceded in interment in Westview died Thursday, October 17, 2002, at Culpeper Regional Hospital. death by a brother, Tony Barfield.
Survivors include two sons, Daniel Wade Barfield and fiancée, Jodi Jennings, of Haymarket and Brandon Thomas Barfield of Orange; four sisters, Frances Racer of Orange, Eva Brown, Marion Dodson and Kay Barfield, all of Culpeper and two brothers, Ed Barfield of Unionville and Charles Barfield of Culpeper; two sisters-in-law, J. J. Barfield of Orange and Patty Corbin of Culpeper and special friends, Evelyn Cunningham and Bobby Lane, both of Culpeper.
A memorial service was held October 22 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, Culpeper.

Martin J. Kenealy
Martin J. Kenealy, 74, of Granbury, Texas, formerly of Massachusetts, Born December 16, 1927, in Boston, Massachusetts, he was a son of the late Martin Kenealy and Mary Wise Kenealy. Mr. Kenealy was a draftsman for General Dynamics, a Navy Veteran of World War II, a member of St. Jerome’s Knights of Columbus, the Big Brothers Association, the Granbury Volunteer Brigade and a member of Western Hills Harbor Board. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in funeral service will be held Friday, October 25, at 9 a.m. at St. John’s Baptist Church, Quincy Center, with Cemetery, Weymouth, Massachusetts.
The family will receive friends and relatives on Thursday, October 24, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Sweeney Funeral Home, 74 Elm Street, Quincy Center, Massachusetts.

Ruth K. Machin
Ruth Kube Machin, 59, Born November 27, 1942, in Charlottesville, she was a daughter of Florence Kube of Orange and the late Howard Kube. Mrs. Machin grew up in Orange, graduating from Orange County High School in 1962. In addition to her father, she was also preceded in funeral service, followed by Cemetery in Colorado.
Mattie F. Maddox
Mattie Florence Maddox, 81, of Orange, Born in Albemarle County, she was a daughter of the late Jack and Mattie Thurston Woodson. Helen W. Murphy
Helen Marie Wood Murphy, 91, of Stanardsville, Born July 1, 1911, in Blue Island, Illinois, she was a daughter of the late William Walter Wood and Florence Brewer Wood. She was a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in died Tuesday, October 15, 2002, at his residence. funeral service was held October 19, at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church with cemetery. The Rev. Gregory Baldwin officiated.
