WILLIAM FREDERICK DULA
WASHINGTON, D.C. – William Frederick Dula, 83, a long-time resident of Pulaski, born in Beaver, W.Va. on March 5, 1920. He was he son of the late James R. Dula and Sadie Brookshire Dula. Mr. Dula graduated from Shepherd’s College in Shepherdstown, W.Va. in 1951, where he was a member of the football team and he received a master’s degree from West Virginia University in 1953. Mr. Dula was an active member of the First United Methodist Church in Pulaski. He served there as an usher and a children’s Sunday School teacher. His beloved wife of 50 years, Doris Townley Dula, preceded him in death. Survivors include a son, William Frederick Dula, Jr. and daughter-in-law, Dena Bright, of Wassenaar, The Netherlands; a daughter, Marsha Dula Matthews and son-in-law, Mark Matthews, of Washington, D.C.; a sister, Dorothy Dula Cox and brother-in-law, E.B. Cox of Vinton; seven grandchildren, Stacey, Alice, and Catherine Dula of The Netherlands, and Hunter and James Matthews of Washington, D.C.; sisters-in-law, Frances Dula and Norma Jo Napier; and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 3 at 11 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church with Dr. Randy Frye officiating. died Saturday morning May 31, 2003 at Pulaski Health and Rehabilitation Center. Interment will follow in Oakwood passed away Friday, May 30, 2003. She was preceded in Cemetery, Draper. In lieu of flowers, please made memorials to the Memorial Christian Church, Draper. DRAPER - Robert Lee Mills, 52, of 2681 Kirby Road, Draper, Born Feb. 18, 1951 in Radford, he is the son of Dorothy Marie Graham Mills. He was preceded in Interment will follow at Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin. Visitation will be Monday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Bower Funeral Chapel, Pulaski. The family will be meeting at the home of his mother, Dorothy Mills, 341 Jordan Street, Dublin. Bower Funeral Chapel, Pulaski, is handling arrangements for the family.
SIAD SOLOMON THOMAS MARSHELL SULLIVAN
CHRISTIANSBURG - Siad Solomon Thomas Marshell Sullivan, 73 of Christiansburg, passed away Friday morning, July 25, 2003 at the New River Valley Medical Center. death. He was a farmer and also a bus driver for the Pulaski County School Board for 26 years.
Surviving are: his wife of 65 years, Ida Clara Rupe Young, Dublin; one daughter, Minnie Whitt and Terry Darlington, Dublin; sons and daughters-in-law, Frank William Young and Mary Etta Young, Dublin, Rodney L. Young and Vanessa Young, Dublin; three grandchildren, Donna and Dickie Kesling, Barbara and Garland Collins, Shelley and Dennis Bird; three great grandchildren, Nathaniel and Cody Kesling and Rachel Bird; sister, Lucille Rupe.
Funeral services were conducted Sunday at 4 p.m. from Bower Funeral Chapel, Pulaski with Rev. Olin Shupe and Rev. Michael Blouse officiating. Cemetery, Dublin. The family received friends Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Bower Funeral Chapel, Pulaski.

DAVID NORMAN WENCK, JR.
LAKELAND, FLA. - David Norman Wenck, Jr., age 42 of Lakeland, Fla. Born June 6, 1961 in Sommerville N. J., he is the son of David Norman Wenck, Sr. and Patricia Quilty Wenck. He was a veteran of the United States Army with five years of service.
Surviving are his parents, David Norman Wenck, Sr. and Pat Quilty Wenck, Dublin; one brother, Allan Richard Wenck, Durham, N. C.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday 10 a.m. at the Heritage Church, Dublin with Pastor Michael Brummitt officiating. went to be with the Lord on July 26, 2003. She was death by her husband, Orel F. Stoots, brothers, Gerald, Roger and Harold Poe and by her sister, Norma Wimmer.
Surviving are: her son and daughter-in-law, Donald and Janice Stoots, Pulaski; daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Wynn Back, Richmond, Roberta and Kenny Epperley, Pulaski, Jan Melton, Pulaski; sister, Emily Ritter, Gretna; grandchildren, Jeff and Tina Garwood, Candy and David Cook, Brandy Meredith, Derek and Robyn Stoots, Cpl. Michael Epperley, USMC, Laura DeHart; great-grandchildren, Kaitlynn and Josh Cook, Justin, Jordan and Jeremy Ferguson; many special brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; many nieces and nephews and special church family from New Hope Baptist Chapel, Pulaski.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in Oakwood died Saturday July 26, 2003. Buster was Cemetery in Radford, with Rev. Jim Walker officiating. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Fairview Home in Busters memory. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. Tuesday July 29 at the DeVilbiss Funeral Home, Radford.
