WRIGHT TOWNSHIP MOUNTAINTOP, PA. John Foster Brookman, 41, of Wright Township Mountaintop, Born in Pulaski, on June 25, 1962, he was the son of Anna (Jacobson) Brookman and the late Willie G. Brookman. He was educated in Indianapolis schools and was a graduate of Washington High School Class of 1980 and the ITT Technical Institute of Indianapolis, receiving a degree in electronics in 1993.
He was employed by Ultra Tech Stepper Company of San Jose, Calif. He was positioned at Fairchild Semiconductor Mountaintop Industrial Park for the past eight years. He was the lead singer and leader of 4-Play, a local Mountaintop band.
He is preceded in Cemetery, Pulaski. Visiting will be Wednesday at Stevens Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until the service hour and after the services at the home of his brother, Wayne Brookman, 5755 Rigney Drive, Highland Park, Dublin, Va. Arrangements were handled locally by Stevens Funeral Home, Inc., Pulaski, Va.
ALMETA G. FRAZIER
BLACKSBURG Almeta G. Frazier, age 83, born in Carroll County, June 12, 1920 and she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Mae Grimes. She had worked for several retail businesses and health care/social service organizations in Pulaski County. She had been employed by the Parks Belk Company, Felix Department Store, Interstate Insurance Company, and Super Dollar Store. In addition, she had served as Manager of the Top Value Stamp Store. She later worked for Highland Manor Nursing Home and the New River Valley Agency on Aging. She had been a member of the Pulaski Church of God for more than 55 years.
She was preceded in Interment will follow at Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin. The family will receive friends between 6:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. on Monday at the Bower Funeral Chapel, Bobwhite Boulevard in Pulaski.

LUCILLE RICHARDSON SLUSHER
PULASKI Lucille Richardson Slusher, 57, of 211 Bentley Hollow Road, Pulaski, born in Pulaski, on July 19, 1946, and was the daughter of the late Ellis Bruce Richardson and Verna Kincer Richardson. She was also preceded in passed away at his home in Charlottesville on Jan. 16, 2004. He is survived by his wife, Frances Cantrell Roberson, daughters, Amy Spence and Lisa Roberson of Charlottesville, son, Cliff Roberson of New York City; Local surviving family members include J Harold Robbie and Barbara Roberson of Pulaski. Family visitation in Wise will take place at Trinity United Methodist Church in Wise on Monday, Jan. 19 from 6 to 8 p.m. Services will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 20 at 1 p.m. at the church, with Cemetery with the Rev. Chris Stanfield officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you honor James with contributions to Wise Trinity United Methodist Church, 110 Main St., Wise, Va. 24293; or the James C. RADFORD - James Peter King, 101, of Radford, VA born in Marion, Va. on December 12, 1902, and was the son of the late Dr. and Mrs. John C. King. DRAPER George William Stanley, 58 of 2249 Wysor Rd., Draper, Born March 5, 1945 in Premier, W.Va., he was the son of the late Noah Stanley, Sr. and Vivian (Crockett) King. RADFORD James Houston Hollingsworth, 74, of 1500 Staple Street, Lot 32, Radford, born in North Carolina on May 23, 1929 and was the son of the late Norman Hollingsworth and Dorothy Mae Manning Hollingsworth. He was also preceded in Cemetery with the Pulaski VFW Post # 1184 conducting the military graveside rites.
