DUBLIN – Euna Faye Trail, age 64 of Dublin died Monday, April 26, 2004 at his home. He was death by his step-father, Roy Wilbert Semones. He was an employee of Electroplate-Rite Corp., Dublin.
Surviving are: his mother, Patsy Jean Semones, Pulaski; father, Clarence Edward Turpin, Pulaski; step-mother, Mary Jane Turpin, Pulaski; sisters, Lora Martin, Dublin, Dreama Newell, Lexington; step-brother, Anthony Semones, Poketon, S.C.; step-sister, Tina Johnston, Pulaski; grandmother, Alice Lovern, Pulaski; four nephews and two nieces.
Cemetery, Pulaski. Visiting will be Thursday evening from the funeral home where the family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m.

PULASKI - Mary Ellen Epperley Linkous, age 85 of Pulaski and formerly Dublin Born April 6, 1919 in Pulaski County, Va., she was the daughter of the late Joseph Henry Epperley and Nancy Cora Bowers Epperley. Her husband Harless “Smokey” Clifton Linkous preceded her in Interment will follow at Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin. The family will receive friends an hour before service time.

CLOYD DUVAL SEAGLE, JR.
PULASKI - Cloyd DuVal Seagle, Jr., age 66 of Pulaski, Born February 21, 1938 in Pulaski, he is the son of Laura King Harman Seagle and Cloyd DuVal Seagle, Sr. He retired from the D.M.V. after 32 years of service as a supervisor. He was a veteran of the Korean War having served in the U.S. Army in the First Calvary, a member of the Presbyterian Church, a Graduate of the Fork Union Military Academy, and attended V.P.I. In addition to his parents he is survived by a brother: Thomas M. Seagle, II of Pulaski; a sister: Ruth Seagle Bushong of Dublin; four nephews: Jeremiah Seagle of Pulaski, T.M. Seagle, III of Falls Church, Va., Lee Bushong of Jackson Hole, Wyoming, and Chris Bushong of Richmond, Va. A graveside funeral will be conducted Thursday April 29, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at Thorn Spring passed away Sunday, April 25, 2004 at the New River Valley Medical Center.

WILLIAM MICHAEL MOORHOUSE
DUBLIN - William Michael Moorhouse, age 46 of Dublin, Born October 29, 1957 in Radford, he was the son of the late Martha Galway Moorhouse and Allan Moorhouse. He was a retired dispatcher and jailer for the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office, and was a 1976 graduate of Pulaski County High School and New River Community College, a radio announcer for 15 years at WRAD, and was known as the night time Mayor of the New River Valley, and was a member of Jordans Chapel United Methodist Church. He is survived by three sons: Michael “George”, Mark and Kevin Moorhouse of the home; one brother: Stanley Moorhouse of Montgomery, AL; one sister: Ann Gilley of San Antonio, TX; He also leaves behind many friends, including a special coffee club group that met on Wednesdays at 9:00 a.m. at McDonalds in Dublin. Funeral services will be held Monday April 26, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at Thomas M. Seagle & Sons Funeral Home with the Rev. Martha Yeomans officiating. cemetery. Visiting will be Sunday from 3 until 5 p.m. at the funeral home. PULASKI-William Lee “Bill” Tate, 82 of 1009 Prospect Avenue, Pulaski passed away Friday, April 23, 2004. He was a retired foreman from Hercules with 30 years of service and spent 15 years helping the residents of Pulaski Co. by working with the Pulaski Co. Senior Citizens Services.. He was a U. S. Army veteran having served during W.W.II. He was preceded in Interment will follow in the Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin where members of V. F. W. Post & #776 will present colors.. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the Fairlawn Fire & Rescue, 7358 Peppers Ferry Blvd., Radford, VA 24141.

PULASKI – William Dean Moody, 50, of Pulaski born in Pulaski on June 18, 1953 and was the son of the late Von W. Moody, Jr. and Sue Carper Moody.
Surviving are: his wife, Rosemary O’Dell Moody; daughter and son-in-law, Leslie and Jimmy Ross, Salem; son and daughter-in-law, Ricky Dean and Jennifer Moody, Salem; grandchildren, Chandler Ross, Salem, Jordyn Ross, Salem; sister and spouse, Suzanne and Lynn Willhite, Kennesaw, Ga.; brothers and spouses, Von W. Moody, III (Buck) and B. J. Moody, Charlotte, N.C., Richard I. (Rick) and Martha Moody, Pulaski; several nieces and nephews.
died April 22, 2004. She was death by her husband, John Charles Shafransky and her brother, Cecil Harris. She had worked at Bata Shoe Company for 30 years and was presently a hostess for the Chesapeake House in Northeast for 18 years. She found great joy in working and taking care of her dear family and friends.
Surviving are: her son and daughter-in-law, David A. and Nancy Shafransky, Elkton, Md.; grandchildren, Karlee and Julia Shafransky, Elkton, Md.; sister, Minnie Davis, Pulaski; brother, Leroy Harris, Hiwassee.

DUBLIN - Hazel Mae Thompson Aker, 62 of Dublin, passed away Tuesday, April 20, 2004 in Pulaski Community Hospital. Mr. Jefferson was death. Mr. Jefferson attended the University of Arkansas as well as the University of Baltimore, Md. and was a veteran of World War II. Mr. Jefferson is survived by his wife of thirty-four years, Glenna Myers Jefferson, Pulaski, Va., daughters and sons-in-law, Ann and Wayne Marshall, Hanover, Va., and Pamela and Malcolm Barbour, Richmond, Va., four grandchildren and four great grandchildren, sister-in-law, Hilda Myers Vaughn of Pulaski; sister and brother-in-law, Pearl and Bernie Rogers, Cocoa Beach, Fl., sister, Katherine Mull and nephew, Leonard Mull, Canyon Lake, Tx., brother and sister-in-law, Stuart and Patsy Myers, Omaha, Nb., as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Jefferson was a retired Assistant Director of the Social Security Administration. He was a 32-Degree Mason, member of the Scottish Rite, and Deacon Emeritus of the Laurel Park Presbyterian Church, Richmond, Va. George was an active member of the Newbern Christian Church as well as the Pulaski Senior Citizens Center. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, April 22 from Thomas M. Seagle and Sons Funeral Home with the Rev. Randy Winn officiating with burial to follow in the Town of Dublin Born Dec. 20, 1919 in Belle, W. Va. she was the daughter of the late John William and Hallie Jane Berry. She was also preceded in Interment will follow at the Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday evening at the Bower Funeral Chapel, 1631 Bobwhite Blvd., Pulaski.

PULASKI – Fred Joe Hall, 86, of Robinson Tract Road, Pulaski, born in Pulaski on Mar. 3, 1918, and was the son of the late John Foy Hall and Mary Jane Black Hall. He was also preceded in Cemetery with Pulaski VFW Post #1184 conducting the military graveside rites.
