One brother, Basil Harper and a great granddaughter, Ashley Nuckols, also preceded her in Interment will follow at the Old Dublin died Wednesday, July 21, 2004 at the Prince William Hospital.
married to Harvey Waddell who preceded her in death by one son Marvin Waddell, three daughters, Ruth Cox, Evelyn French and Dawn Waddell and one brother, Raymond Sheppard. Mrs. Waddell is survived by one daughter, Mildred Tate of Manassas, Va., nine grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and six great great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Sunday July 25, from 3 – 5 p.m. at the Thomas M. Seagle and Sons Funeral Home, 415 North Jefferson Avenue, Pulaski. Funeral services will be held on Monday July 26, at 11 a.m. at Thomas M. Seagle and Son.

PULASKI – Douglas Delano (Squacky) Nester, 61, of Pulaski Born July 11, 1943 in Pulaski, he was the son of the late Guida Dalton Nester and Ota Lee Nester.
He is survived by his wife, Darlene Trail Nester; four brothers, Talmadge Nester, Kemel Ray Nester and Thedford Nester all of Pulaski and Cecil Nester of Floyd; one sister, Virginia Smith of Draper.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, July 22, at Thomas M. Seagle and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Clayton Sweet officiating.

He was also preceded in born November 11, 1935 in Pulaski, VA, the son of the late Jethro and Lori Roberts Hogan. He was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church, Radford, VA. He attended the public schools of Pulaski and Christiansburg Institute. He was also a veteran, having served in the U.S. Army. He leaves to cherish his memory four sons, Tony Elwood Hogan of Raleigh, NC, Flip Hogan and Wayne Allen Hogan of Baltimore, MD and Steven D. Edwards of NC; two daughters, Lynn Hogan and Bardi Hogan, both of Baltimore, seventeen grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; one sister, Earsaline Harvey of Radford, VA; three brothers, Quinton Hogan of Pulaski, VA, Hugh Hogan of Roanoke, VA and Thurman Foy of Roanoke, VA; a host of other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be Friday, July 23, 2004 at 11:00 at Pinehurst passed away Tuesday, July 20, 2004 at the Owensboro Medical Hospital.

NORTH MYRTLE BEACH - Charles W. Dean, 59, Born September 3, 1944 in Pulaski, Virginia, he was the son of the late Lindsey and Mattie Hudson Dean. Survivors include his wife, Judy Huffman Dean, a sister, Della M. Martin of Stuart, Va. Funeral services were held at McMillan-Small Funeral Home in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina followed with burial in North Myrtle Beach Memorial Gardens.

PULASKI – Janice Marie Byrd Goodwin, age 60, of 2094 Twin Oaks, Pulaski Born Feb. 6, 1944 in West Virginia she was the daughter of Ethel Magaline Hill Byrd and the late James Garland Byrd. Her brother, Clinton Albert Byrd, also preceded her in Interment will follow at Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday evening at Bower Funeral Chapel, 1631 Bob White Blvd., Pulaski.
