PULASKI – Dennis Gray Rigney, age 56 of 55 Crestline Drive, Pulaski Born Feb. 19, 1948 in Pulaski, he was the son of the late Robert Gray Rigney and Laura Elizabeth Rigney. One sister, Daisy A. Cook and two brothers, Robert Lee Rigney and William Cecil Rigney, also preceded him in died Monday evening July 5, 2004 in Highland Ridge Rehabilitation Center in Dublin. DUBLIN – Hazel Farmer Armbrister, 88, of Dublin (Claytor Lake) death by her husband of 62 years, Paul Armbrister, Sr., who Funeral service will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. from the First United Methodist Church, Pulaski with Rev. Paula Campbell officiating. died July 3, 2004 at the Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital. He was passed away Sunday, July 4, 2004 at his home.

PULASKI – J. B. Williams, age 68 of 613 Birch Street, Pulaski passed away Sunday morning, July 4, 2004 at 6:15 a.m. at the Radford Nursing & Rehab Center. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and retired from St. Albans Hospital. He was preceded in Interment will follow in the Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford and at other times at the home of Mrs. Edith Brown.

HIWASSEE – Elizabeth Sue Hopkins, 76, of Hiwassee, death by her husband, William Garfield Hopkins.
Survivors include a daughter, Jackie Pugh of Willis; two sisters, Martha Philian of Queensbury, N.Y., and Ina Shelton of Christiansburg; two brothers, Hugh Shanklin and Jim Shanklin, both of Snowville.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Snowville Baptist Church.
Cemetery in Hiwassee. The family will receive friends from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m. Saturday at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford.
RICHARD LEWIS KING
DUBLIN – Richard Lewis King, 58, of 517 Church Street, Dublin, Born May 16, 1946 in Dublin, he was the son of the late Harl “Bud” King and Janie Jordan King.
He was a past employee of the Intermet Radford Foundry with 19 years of service. He was a veteran of the United States Army, having served in Vietnam, where he received a Purple Heart. He was a member of the Pulaski V.F.W. Post #1184, and the Pulaski American Legion.
Surviving are his wife of 34 years, Carol Clark King of Dublin; daughter, Janie Lynn King Sirt of Dublin; grandson, Dakota Lewis Sirt of Dublin; two sisters and son-in-law, Barbara Spence of Christiansburg and Hilda and Terry Huffstickler of Gaffney, S.C.; beloved ex-son-in-law, Roger Sirt of Pulaski; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Roger and Peggy Clark of Pulaski, Barbara and Muncy Swecker of Pulaski, and Dorothy and Sheffey Waller of Pulaski; special sidekicks, Raskel, Brandie and Toby; special cousin and his wife, Tom Lorton and Mary Lou; special lifelong friends, David Farmer, Doug Bryson and many more.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Bower Funeral Chapel, Pulaski, with the Rev. Shawn Wilburn officiating. Cemetery, Dublin, with full Military Honors conducted by the Pulaski V.F.W. Post #1184. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Bower Funeral Chapel, 1631 Bobwhite Blvd., Pulaski.
