PULASKI – Anna Albert Ayers, 92, of Caseknife Road, Pulaski born in Wythe County on Oct. 5, 1912 and she was the daughter of the late George Albert and Prince Ann Conner Albert. She was also preceded in Cemetery, Wythe County with Rev. Dale Akers officiating. Visiting will be Wednesday evening from Stevens Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m.

CLAUDINE J. HAMLIN
DUBLIN – Claudine J. Hamlin, age 61 of Dublin Born June 15, 1960 in Pulaski, he is the son of Carl Roy Allison and Sonya O’Dell Allison. He was preceded in Interment will follow at Oakwood passed away Oct. 6, 2004 at Jacksonville, N.C. She lost her battle with cancer and is now living in heaven with her Heavenly Father. She was a member of Brookwood Baptist Church in Jacksonville, N.C.
Surviving are: her two daughters, Dana DeHart Eidson and Debra DeHart Mitchell; one son, Daniel David DeHart, Jr.; one sister, Margie Lawson; one brother, Donald W. Hill; four grandchildren, Bethany DeHart, Taylor Mitchell, Jesse Pagan, Tanner Mitchell; several nieces and nephews and cousins also survive.
Funeral services were held at Johnson Funeral Home in Jacksonville, N.C. Oct. 16, 2004 with the Rev. Vann Murrel officiating.

SALEM – Margret Harmon Haynes age 92 formerly of Pulaski departed this life on Sunday, Oct. 17 in Salem, Va.

DUBLIN - Junior Willie Tolbert, age 78 of Dublin, Born May 21, 1926 in Pulaski County, he was the son of the late Elijah “Bill” Washington & Lillie Mae Marshall Tolbert. He was a retired employee of Radford Army Ammunition Plant having worked in the water filtration plant, & was a member of the Atomic Workers Union. He was an avid bee keeper & loved working in his vegetable and flower gardens. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in Interment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin. Visiting will be held Sunday after 12 Noon at the funeral home where the family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Carilion Hospice Services, 707 Randolph St. Ste. 251 Radford, Va. 24141. CLARA TALTON FUGATE
RADFORD - Clara Talton Fugate, currently of Radford, went to be with her Lord, peacefully in her sleep, on Thursday, October 14, 2004.
Clara, a native of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, had lived in Virginia since 1935. She death. She later wed James Edwin Fugate, Jr., retired State Police Officer, with homes in Ridgeway and on the Fugate farm in Rye Cove. The second husband also preceded her in Cemetery in Weber City. MAGGIE PEAK RYAN
PULASKI - Maggie Peak Ryan, 61, of Pulaski, departed from this life peacefully on Friday, October 15 to cross over Jordan to be with her Heavenly Father.
She had lost her battle with cancer, but won the victory.
She was death by one sister, Freida Hodge and one niece, Sherry Wiley.
She is survived by her husband of 45 wonderful, blessed years, Joseph T. Ryan; two sons and spouses, Wayne and Vicky Ryan of Draper, and Samuel “Bo” and Mary Ryan of Pulaski; three daughters and spouses, Becky and Skip Stevens of Pulaski, Rhonda and Garry Wright of Pulaski, and Kathy and Robert Surface of Dublin. Grandchildren, Terry Ryan and spouse Measie of Michigan; Anthony Ryan and Brian Ryan of Pulaski; Paige Linkous Snyder and husband Shawn of Dublin; Toni Linkous of Dublin; Anna Stevens, Jessica David, Ashley Davis, Tanner Davis, John Allen Shouse, and Mandy Ryan, all of Pulaski; Amy and Jeremy Cregger of Wytheville; Jill and Russell Kennedy of Austinsville; and Adriel and Ashley Reed of Draper. Great grandchildren, Abby and Korah Ryan of Michigan and Levi Cregger of Wytheville. Sisters and spouses, Phyllis and Rev. Billy Dean of Max Meadows; Armeda and Roger Cressell; Darlene and Leonard Dean and Joyce Dean, all of Pulaski. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at Bower Funeral Chapel, Pulaski. Cemetery, Pulaski.
The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. Monday prior to service time at the funeral home.

BARREN SPRINGS - David Daniel Saunders, Jr., age 44 of 1433 Wysor Highway, Barren Springs Born November 8, 1959 in Pulaski, Virginia he was the son of David Daniel Saunders, Sr. & Angelene Duncan Saunders. His paternal grandparents, Hattie Stephenson & Clyde Chaffin Saunders and his maternal grandparents, Vernice & Weldon B. Duncan preceded him in Interment will follow at the Oakwood Cemetery, Pulaski where the VFW Post #1184 will conduct full military honors. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Monday evening at the Bower Funeral Chapel, 1631 Bobwhite Blvd., Pulaski.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in his memory would be appreciated by the family.
