PULASKI – Hazel Marie Sutherland Andrews, age 73 of 4425 Thaxton Road, Pulaski Born April 24, 1932 in Guilford County, North Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Verlin William Sutherland and Eva Stella Livesay Sutherland. She was also preceded in Interment will follow at Hufford passed away Thursday, August 25, 2005. She was death by two sisters, Thelma Jennings and her twin sister, Earlean Foutz; three brothers, Boyd, Brooks and John Gregory.
Surviving are: her husband, Kermit “Pete” Dalton; three daughters, Debbie Padgett, Barren Springs, Elizabeth Fleenor, Pennington Gap, Va., Kimberly Goines, Patterson; two sons, Ronnie Gregory, Pulaski, Kermit Neal Dalton, Jr., Patterson; four sisters, Delma Hall, Loneash, Stella Dalton, Pulaski, Shelby Jennings, Draper, Betty Oford, Pulaski; ten grandchildren, several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, Aug. 28, at 2:30 p.m. at Reese Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Dale Akers and the Rev. Aleen Akers officiating. Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Reese Funeral Home, Austinville, Va. is in charge of the arrangements.

DUBLIN – Leota Virginia Ervin, 57 of the Little Creek Community, Dublin was found dead on Wednesday, Aug. 24, 2005 at her home. She was funeral service as was her request. She will be cremated.

PULASKI - Hazel Marie Sutherland Andrews, age 73 of 4425 Thaxton Road, Pulaski passed away Monday, August 22, 2005, in Smyth County Hospital.
She is survived by three sons, David Crabtree of Pulaski, Va., Keith Crabtree of McCala, Ala and Gary Crabtree of Saltville, Va.; two brothers, Wesley Carter of Glade Spring, Va. and Don Carter of Tazewell, Va. She is also survived by four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Thursday, August 25, at 2:00 p.m. in Ridgedale Methodist Church with burial to follow in Ridgedale died in Clearwater, Florida on Tuesday, August 23. She was a resident of Radford for 36 years and relocated to Clearwater in 1995. She was died early Tuesday morning, August 23, 2005 at his home. He was Cemetery, Pulaski County with Rev. Jerry Gregory and Rev. Lonnie Carter officiating. The Pulaski VFW Post #1184 will conduct the military graveside rites. Visiting will be Wednesday evening from Stevens Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes that memorials be made to the Place of Refuge Church, 600 Skyline Circle, Pulaski, Va. 24301.

PULASKI - Helen Burchett Waller, age 80, of 4513 Old Stage Road, Pulaski Born July 29, 1925 in English, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Hubert Washington Burchett and Bessie Lineberry Burchett. She was also preceded in Interment will follow at Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin.
The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Bower Funeral Chapel, Pulaski. In lieu of flowers, one may contribute to the First United Methodist Church Music Fund, 301 North Jefferson, Pulaski or the American Heart Association.
Bower Funeral Chapel, Pulaski is handling the arrangements for the family.

RADFORD - Roley Clarence Akers, 86 of Radford, death by his parents, Roley and Eugenia Akers, two sisters, Ruby Howell and Goldie Weeks, and his wife, Inez Akers. Survivors include a sister, Sylvia Jones of Christiansburg.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, August 24, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at the Sunrise Burial Park in Radford with Rev. Bobby Sutphin officiating. Per Clarence's wishes, there will be no visitation.

PULASKI - Cloyd 'John' Martin, Jr., of Mt. Olivet Road, Pulaski, died Sunday, August 21, 2005 in the Pulaski Community Hospital. death by three brothers, Walter Harvey Farmer, Thomas Jefferson Farmer and James Clarence “Bud” Farmer. Grandson, Richard David “Richie” Jones, II. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church, Robinson Tract Road, Pulaski.
Surviving are: her husband of 66 years, Boyd Edward Jones; sons and daughter-in-law, Thomas E. Jones, Pulaski, Richard D. and Pam A. Burial will follow in the Thornspring Cemetery. Visiting will be Monday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Stevens Funeral Home, Pulaski. Grandsons and grandsons-in-law will serve as pallbearers.
