PULASKI – Mary Clara Sarver King, 83, of Pulaski born in Bland County on Dec. 3, 1916 and was the daughter of the late William Sarver and Geneva Clark Sarver. She was also preceded in Funeral service will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. from Stevens Funeral Chapel with Rev. Ralph Clark officiating. CONRAD ARLEN EASTBURN
ROANOKE – Conrad Arlen Eastburn, 75, of Roanoke, Born August 28, 1929 in Pulaski County, he was the son of the late William Hubert and Edna Pickerel Eastburn. He retired from General Electric Co. of Salem after 38 years of service. He was a member of the V.P.I. Corps of Cadets and a member of the Highty-Tighties Marching Band. Surviving is his loving wife of 50 years, Edna Eastburn, daughters, Pamela E. Willis and Susan E. Hamblin, grandchildren, Miranda Lee Hamblin, Wesley Earl Hamblin, April Michelle Willis, Katelyn Marie Willis, Travis and Ryan Burke, whose parents, Bill and Frieda Burke are very close neighbors. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 28 at Lotz Salem Chapel with Pastor Jessie Howard officiating. passed away Friday, December 24, 2004. She was a public nurse for Montgomery County for years. She was a member of Blacksburg Presbyterian Church and was active in many volunteer organizations. She will be sadly missed by her daughter, Beverly Long of Salem; many nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held Tuesday, December 28, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford with Rev. Alexander Evans officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service on Tuesday.

CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS – Carrie Campbell Cook, 95, of Corpus Christi, Texas born on Aug. 15, 1909 to Lura Myrtle and George Waburn Campbell in Cleveland, Va. (one of 11 children). Carrie was death by her husband, Thurman T. Cook, son Joseph Campbell Cook, her parents, and all of her brothers and sisters. Carrie is survived by her children Linda Hanson of Denver, Col., Bertie Talbert of Corpus Christi, Texas and John Esten (Mary Alice) Cook of Salem, Va. Grandchildren Marc and Eric Hanson, Jennifer Sherman, Wanda and Daryl Cook, Gary Cook, Tim Talbert and Betty Silvar. Great-grandchildren Krista Sherman, Melissa Robinson, Christopher and Stephen Cook, Jenny and Johnathan McLaughlin, and Cindy and Kim Cook.

PULASKI – Fayette Reese Anderson, 81, of Extension Street, Pulaski born in Pulaski County on Feb. 13, 1923 and was the daughter of the late George Palmer Reese and Lilly Mills Reese. PULASKI – Fayetta R. Anderson, 81, of 3420 Extension Street, Pulaski, went to be with the Lord, Sunday, January 2, 2005. She was death by her husband Henry Farmer, daughter Karen Beckner, grandson Gregory Estes, sisters Velma Ramsey, Alva Ramsey and Winnie Whitaker, and step-daughter-in-law Linda Farmer. She is survived by her son, Alan Beckner of Blacksburg; her daughter, Donna Walker of Christiansburg; grandchildren; step-children, Roger Farmer of Christiansburg, Mary Hill of Radford, Alice McPeak of Christiansburg, Jo Ann Olinger of Blacksburg; 14 step-grandchildren; 9 step-great grandchildren; brother Dayton Ramsey of Radford.
