PEARL MAE QUESENBERRY REYNOLDS
RADFORD - Pearl Mae Quesenberry Reynolds, 86, death by her husband, Ray Miller Reynolds.

Survivors include four daughters, Glenna Quesenberry of Christiansburg, Doris Owens of Snowville, Debbie Medley of Radford and Barbara Cochran of Conover, NC; one brother, Rupert Quesenberry of Hiwassee; two sisters, Beatrice Mabry of Dublin and Iris Adams of Martinsville; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 2, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford with Rev. James Walker and Rev. Rupert Quesenberry officiating. Cemetery in Radford.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford.

DALE GENE BURGESS
PULASKI - Dale Gene Burgess, age 42, of Pulaski, formerly of Charleston, W.Va., Born October 5, 1962 in Charleston, he is the son of Faye Cobb Morris and the late Paul David Burgess.

He is survived by his mother Fay Cobb Morris and his step-father Jerry Morris, both of Charleston. There will be no funeral services. Condolences may be sent to his mother at 5320 Alpine Drive Cross Lanes, West Virginia 25312.

SYLVIA NESTER GOAD BANKS
DUGSPUR – Sylvia Nester Goad Banks, age 79 of Dugspur, passed away Wednesday, February 23, 2005. He was a U. S. Coast Guard veteran having served during WWII. He was retired from Burlington Industries with 35 years of service. He was preceded in Interment will follow in the Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin where members of VFW Post #776 will conduct military graveside rites. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Friday at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford.

CHARLES EDWARD “EBB” DENT
PULASKI – Charles Edward “Ebb” Dent, 86, of Pulaski, Born in Oxford, Ala., Oct. 12, 1918 he was the son of the late Harry S. and Nell Hatchett Dent. Mr. Dent was the owner and operator of Dent Electronics here in Pulaski for a number of years. He was a veteran and a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Pulaski.

Surviving are: his wife, Elizabeth “Betsy” Bushong Dent; son, Charles Edward Dent, Jr. of Derry, N.H.; brother, Jack D. Dent, of Winston-Salem, N.C.; granddaughter, Virginia D. Kahn, of Cambridge, Mass.; nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held Friday, Feb. 25, 2005 at 3 p.m. from Stevens Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Jeff Kackley officiating. The family will receive friends Friday from 2 p.m. until the service hour at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family wishes memorials be given to the First Presbyterian Church, Pulaski, P. O. Box 824, Pulaski, Va. 24301.

MARVIN OTIS QUESENBERRY
PULASKI - Marvin Otis Quesenberry, 86 of Pulaski, Born December 27, 1918, he was the son of the late Nettie Nunn Quesenberry and George Quesenberry. Also preceding him in Interment will follow in the Moore death by her maternal grandfather, the late Mayor, Raymond F. Ratcliffe, maternal grandmother, Mrs. Ruth Hall King; paternal grandparents, Curtis J. Meredith, Sr. and Ezma Meredith and uncles, Dickie Meredith and Ken Ratcliffe.

Lydia is survived by her husband, Derek Dodson; sons Harris and Spencer; daughter Lily Grace; all of the home; parents, Curtis J. (Sonny) Meredith and Anne Ratcliffe Meredith of Tabb, VA, formerly of Pulaski; sister, Cynthia (Mrs. Louis) Routt and family of Tabb, VA; brother, Curtis J. (Jay) Meredith and family of Orlando, FL; aunts Betty Lou Ratcliffe Kirkner, Pulaski, and Franny Ratcliffe (Mrs. William) Jackson, Marion, VA; uncles Monte (Bud) Ratcliffe, TX, R. F. Ratcliffe and Roz Meredith, Pulaski; cousins Terry Mooney, Charis Hasson, Tye Kirkner, Ed Kirkner, Buddy Ratcliffe, R. Ratcliffe and Rosland Meredith, Pulaski.

A celebration in memory of Lydia's life was held on February 15, 2005 at Farragut Presbyterian Church.

JOHN NELSON WEBBER, SR.
DUBLIN – John Nelson Webber, Sr., age 88 of 6394 Vinson Lane, Dublin Born Oct. 10, 1916 in Cooleemee, N. C. he was the son of the late Jesse Clinton and Blanche Olive Webber. His wife of 58 years, Pauline Vinson Webber, one daughter, Laura Ellen Allen and four brothers, Cleve, Ralph, Jack and James also preceded him in Interment will follow at the Thornspring United Methodist Church died on Tuesday, Feb. 22, 2005 at the New River Valley Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 24, 2005 at 11:00 am. at the Dublin Presbyterian Church with Rev. Tom Rice and Rev. IRNETTA JEAN HYATT GOLDENSTEIN
GRAND ISLAND, NEB. – Irnetta Jean Hyatt Goldenstein, age 71 of Grand Island, Neb. and formerly of Pulaski death by her parents James and Ethel Hyatt, her husband in 1996, Willard Goldenstein; one daughter, Vickie Sweet and one grandson, Joshua Weekley and one sister, Ruby Quesenberry and one brother, Guy Hyatt.

While living in Pulaski, she attended the Trinity Baptist Church.

Surviving are: one son, Will Davis, Stillwater, Okla.; four daughters, Pam Moore, Sumter, S.C., Su Pemberton, Central City, Neb., Dee Ann Weekley, Grand Island, Neb., Kelly Thomas, Grand Island, Neb.; sisters, Lois Stoots, Carrolton, Va., Betty Jones, Pulaski; brother, Tommy Hyatt, Greensboro, N.C.

Funeral services were conducted 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2005 at the Grace Baptist Church, Grand Island, Neb. burial followed at St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery at Glenvil, Neb.

All Faiths Funeral Home, Grand Island, Neb. handled the arrangements.

Locally announced by Bower Funeral Chapel, Pulaski for the family.
