DILLWYN, Oct. 30 - Elizabeth Hudgins Absher, 89, of Dillwyn, born December 21, 1913, a daughter of the late Jack Hudgins and Virginia Dowdy Hudgins. She was the widow of Albert Lee Absher.
She is survived by her sons, Earl Lee Absher and his wife, Gladys, Arthur Junius Absher and wife, Susan; a grandson, Eugene Absher and his wife, Brenda and a great - granddaughter, Lindsay Absher all of Dillwyn.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Friday at Dunkum Funeral Home, Dillwyn, with Cemetery.
The family will receive friends this evening (Thursday) from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of donors choice.

OCTOBER 28 - Birdie M. Osborne, 80, formerly of Prince Edward County, born July 3, 1923 in Prince Edward County, a daughter of the late Daniel Jackson and Bessie Jenkins Neathery. She was the widow of Willie Berkley Osborne.
She is survived by her sons, George, Johnnie, Charlie, Earl, Mack and Billy Osborne; a daughter, Grace Long; sisters, Mary Cliborne, Mable Moorefield and Anne Mae Simpson; brothers, Daniel and Charles Neathery; 17 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
A graveside service was held 11 a.m. today (Tuesday) in Sunset Hill died Friday, October 24, 2003 in Lynchburg.
He was death by one son, Bernard Walter Wright; one brother, Robert Hamlet Wright and two sisters, Paulina W. Bollinger and Naomi W. Parker.
A interment in Trinity Memorial Gardens.

MEHERRIN, Oct. 21 - Virginia "Ginny" Lucille Bernard Crews, 61, of Meherrin, interment in Meherrin Methodist Church died Thursday, October 16, 2003 in a Charlottesville hospital.
He was the son of the late Charley and Kathleen Herndon Carroll.
He is survived by two brothers, Percy Carroll and his wife, Gertrue and Robert "Bob" Carroll and his wife, Helen of Buckingham and two sisters - in - law, Sadie and Christine Carroll both of Buckingham. He was preceded in Interment in the church died Tuesday, October 7, 2003.
