Charles Neider
Charles Herbert Neider , 70, of Manassas, died Friday, Oct. 8, 1999, at Annaburg Manor in Manassas.
He had been a resident of Manassas for 40 years and was a retired fireman with the Federal Government at Arlington Hall. He was a U.S. Navy veteran having served during World War II was a member of the Moose Lodge.
Survivors include two sisters, Eva Irvin and Shirley Frauenholtz, both Iowa City, Iowa; and one brother, Frank Neider of Naperville, Ill.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Price Funeral Home, 9609 Center St., Manassas, where funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday. The Rev Gary Hulme will officiate. Interment to follow at Stonewall Memory Gardens, Manassas.
Douglas Coon
Douglas Coon, 80, of Centreville, died Oct. 7, 1999, Fair Oaks Hospital in Fairfax.
He was a member of the Army Signal Corps in World War II. He attended George Washington University and was a member of Theta Delta Chi. He worked for the Navy Department for the Bureau of Ships and retired from the Anti-Submarine Warfare Project Office. He was a commander of the Navy Post 58 of the American Legion, Washington, D.C., and past vice commander of the Washington D.C., Department of the American Legion, a past Grande Chef deGare of the 40 & 8. Mr. Coon also was a member and past treasurer of Bethel Lutheran Church in Manassas and a charter member of Chantilly Golf and Country.
Survivors include two daughters, DiAnne E. Flory of Manassas and Sharron M. Clare of San Antonio, Texas; one sister Antoinette Dunlevy of Indianapolis, Ind.; four grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
A memorial service will be held at the Bethel Lutheran Church, Plantation Lane, Manassas at 11 a.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Gene Copenhaver will officiate. Interment will be at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date. Arrangements are by Blasius-Baker Funeral Home, Manassas.

Norma Mullins
Norma Elizabeth "Betty" Mullins, 65 of Manassas Park died Tuesday, Nov. 9, 1999, at the Prince William Hospital.
She was a graduate of West Virginia Business College. She was a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church and was active in church activities. She was also a member of the Manassas Park Women's Club and was active in the Senior Group; and an active participant throughout her years in Boy Scouts of America, PTA and Recreation. She was the Commissioner of Revenue for Manassas Park for 19 years having retired in 1996.
Survivors include one daughter, Elizabeth "Beth" Karmosky of Dumfries; four sons, Steven Eugene Mullins of Madison, Ala., James "Jimmy" Mullins of Haymarket, Richard D. Mullins and John "Kevin" Mullins, both of Manassas; six sisters, Josephine West of Clinton, Md., Maxine Mullins of Pilgrims Knob, Brenda Christian of Manassas, Janice Atwater of Crofton, Md., Patricia Weinhardt of Fredericksburg and Sharon Rose of Jolo, W.Va.; and two brothers, Eugene Mullins of Belmont, N.C. and Michael Mullins of Fredericksburg; and three grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. today at Emmanuel Baptist Church, 8006 Centreville Rd., Manassas. A second visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Fanning Funeral Home, Taeger, W.Va. where services will be held at 1 p. m. Burial will follow at Tom Sparks Cemetery, Paynesville, W.Va.

Ludwig Miosi
Ludwig Bernd Dieter Miosi, 51, U.S. Marine Retired Major, of Montclair died Monday, Nov. 8, 1999, at the Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, D.C.
He was a resident of Montclair since 1980, he served in the U.S. Marine Corps for 20 years retiring as a Major; he was a recipient of the Purple Heart with two Gold Stars, the Navy Commendation Medal, Combat Action Ribbon, Presidential Unit Citation, the Meritorious Unit Commendation, the National Defense Service Medal, the Vietnam Service Medal with three Stars, Sea Service Deployment Ribbon, Republic of Vietnam Meritorious Unit Citation Gallantry Cross, the Civil Action Color with Palm and the Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal.
Survivors include his wife, Dianna Miosi; one daughter, Elizabeth Miosi of Montclair; one son, Christopher Miosi of Montclair; his mother, Maria Miosi of Lewisburg, Pa.; three sisters, Maria Baker of Indiana, Helga Savidge of Michigan, Linda O'Neil of Rhode Island; three brothers, John, Michael and Thomas Miosi, all of Pennsylvania.
Services will be held 10 a.m. Friday at the Marine Memorial Chapel at Quantico with interment to follow at Quantico National Cemetery with full military honors.

Grover Dodson, Jr.
Grover Cleveland Dodson, Jr., 84, of Fredericksburg died Tuesday, Nov. 9, 1999, at Fredericksburg Nursing Home.
He was a resident of Fredericksburg for 25 years. He was a former resident of Lorton.
Survivors include his wife, Doris I. Dodson; five daughters, Karen Burris of Alexandria, Kathleen Reece of Orange, Joyce Treadway of Fredericksburg, Connie Dodson and Debbie Dodson , both of Fredericksburg; two sons, Leroy Dodson of Dale City, and Robert Dodson of Beaverdam; one sister, Edith Lacy of Lorton; two brothers, Elmer Dodson of Fredericksburg and Harold Dodson of Franconia; 16 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Mountcastle Funeral Home.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. today at Mountcastle Funeral Home, 4143 Dale Blvd., with interment in Mount Comfort Cemetery.
Angelena Pandazides
Angelena Pandazides died Tuesday, Nov. 9, 1999, at her residence.
She was Mayor Pro Tem of the town and a town council member since 1963. She was active in her family real estate business, and was a member of the Prince William and Virginia Democratic Committee. She attended modeling school in Washington, D.C.. She was a member in the Lions Club, Daughters of Penelope, Soroptomist Club, and Order of the Eastern Star. She was a member of the St. Constantine & Heller Greek Cathedral in Richmond.
Preceded in death by her her parents, Pete and Sofia Panda zides and her brother, John P. Pandazides, she is survived by her sisters, Mary P. Petkoson of Quantico and Olga Bassil of Norfolk.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Mountcastle Funeral Home, 4143 Dale Blvd., Dale City 22193. Funeral Services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday at Quantico Marine Memorial Chapel where a Greek Orthodox Service will be held. Interment will follow at 3:30 p.m. at Riverview Cemetery in Richmond.

Helen Nagurney
Helen Nagurney, 74, of Manassas died Saturday, Nov. 13, 1999, at Mid Valley Hospital, Peckville, Pa.
She was an active member of St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Peter Nagurney; one daughter Marsha Ann Mason of Manassas; one son Nicholas Peter Nagurney of Virginia Beach; two sisters, Anna Chekansky and Marie Fedorchak, both of Olyphant, Pa.; three brothers, Michael Fedorchak of Bloomington, Ind., and William Fedorchak Jr. and Walter Schurko, both of Olyphant; and three grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Price Funeral Home, 9609 Center ST., Manassas, with a service to follow. The funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church, 6719 Token Valley Road, Manassas. The Rev. Taras Lonchyna will officiate. Sophia Siwek
Sophia "Zofia" Siwek, 73 of Manassas Park, died Saturday, Nov. 13, 1999 at her residence.
She was a member of St. Andrew, The Apostle Catholic Church in Clifton.
Preceded in death by her parents, Antoni and Bronislawa Kurucz and her husband, Kazimierz Siwek. Survivors are three children, Julian Siwek of Waynesburg, PA, Maria Siwek of Manassas Park and Adam Siwek of Centreville and one grandchild.

Edwin L. Hawkins, 60, of Dale City died Saturday, November 13, 1999 at his residence.
He was a resident of Dale City for 10 years; and was closely associated with Kingdom Hall Jehovah Witness and he served in the U. S. Army.
Survivors include his wife Shirley Ann Hawkins of Dale City; one son, James Byars of Washington; one daughter, Priscilla Byars of Washington; his father, Major Hawkins of Barbousville; two brothers, Levi Hawkins of Pleasantville, NJ and Reginald Hawkins of Hyattsville, MD, and 5 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Mountcastle Funeral Home, 4143 Dale BLvd. on Wednesday, November 17 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be held at Jehovah Witness Kingdom Hall on Thursday, November 18 at 12 noon.
Burial will be at Quantico National Cemetery in Triangle.

Jacob Leonard Cohn, of Woodbridge died Thursday, March 2, 2000.
He was founder of Congregation Ner Tamid now known as Congregation Ner Shalom. He was a systems analyst for the federal government and served in the US Army Aircorp.
Survivors include his wife, Joan Cohn; children, Ellen Lipson, David Cohn, Daniel Cohn, Deborah Abramowitz and Joshua Cohn, brothers, Ziefried Cohn, Rene Mintz and Freida Pincus; 19 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held today at 10 a.m. at Congregation Ner Shalom, 14010 Spriggs Road, Woodbridge. Interment will be at King David Memorial Garden, Falls Church. Shiva will be observed Saturday evening, Sunday morning and Monday evening at the residence of Joan Cohn.

Alice H. Sites, 77, of Richmond died at Chippenham Medical Center, Richmond.
Survivors include one son, Roger Sites of Bristow; three daughters, Linda Posey of Manassas, and Geneva Hamilton and June Hall, both of Lexington; two sisters, Jean Ayers of Richmond and Georgiana Wratchford of Petersburg, W.Va; two brothers, Curtis Reel of Woodbridge and Carson Reel of Richmond; 10 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Russell Anthony Gambini, 75, died Tuesday Feb. 29, 2000, in Wilkes Barre, Pa.
Survivors include his wife, Cathy Gambini; three children, Tony Gambini and Richard Gambini of Manassas, and Beverly Cagle of Bakersfield, Calif.; his mother, Anna Gambini of Wilkes Barre, Pa.; one brother and three sisters, all of Wilkes Barre, Pa.; and four grandchildren.

Charles Olsick
Charles F. Olsick, 69, of Dale City, died Sunday, February 26, 2000.
He spent 40 years with the federal government division of Intelligence and Criminal Fields. He attended the University of Virginia where he studied law and accounting, and spent two years learning the Russian language. He was a U.S. Army Master Sergeant and U.S. Treasury Agent.
Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Helen (Wojno) Olsick of Dale City; one son, Charles F. Olsick, Jr. of Fairfax; one daughter, Antoinette Brill of Pittsford, N.Y.; three sisters, Ann, Mary, Julia and Catherine; brothers, Joseph and George Olsick; and six grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m., with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m., and Monday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at Mountcastle Funeral Home, 4143 Dale Blvd., Dale City.
Services will be held Tuesday at the Fort Myer Post Chapel beginning at 2:45 p.m. Interment with full military honors will be held at Arlington National Cemetery.
