Larry Jones
Larry Jones, 49, of Stafford County, died Saturday, Jan. 26, 2002, at his home from cancer.
Born in New York, he worked as a computer technician for Systech, based in Raleigh, N.C. He was a member of Shiloh Christian Church.
Survivors include his wife, Vera P. Jones; two daughters, LaQuia L. Jones and LaLexis O. Jones, both of the home; four sisters, Brenda Jones and Benita Payne, both of Charlottesville, Jackie Berkely of Greenbelt, Md., and Nadine Jones of Cobham; and six brothers, John Michie, Darryl Jones, LaVon Jones and Jerome Jones, all of Charlotte-sville, Thomas Jones of Hagerstown, Md., and Calvin Michie of Dumfries.
The family will receive friends from noon to 9 p.m. Friday at Bailey Funeral Home, 1207 White St., Fredericksburg.
Services will be held noon Saturday at Shiloh Christian Church in Garrisonville, the Rev. George B. Quickwill officiating. Burial will follow at Stafford Memorial Park in Stafford.
Jonathan P. Lyall
Jonathan Patrick Lyall, newborn infant, died Saturday, Jan. 26, 2002, at Mary Washington Hospital, Fredericksburg.
He is survived by his parents, James Lyall and Mary Marrs of Spotsylvania; his sister, Ashley Marrs of Spotsylvania; three brothers, James Lyall II, David Marrs and Robert Marrs, all of Spotsylvania; his paternal grandmother, Linda Kerns of Spotsylvania; maternal grandparents, Kathleen and Charles Duncan of Tampa, Fla. and his paternal great-grandparents, James and Shirley Van Ess of Woodbridge.
A graveside service will be held 1 p.m. Friday at Stafford Memorial Park in Stafford, the Rev. Lee Carpenter officiating.

Saige A. Murray
Saige Ashley Murray, 9, of Lake Ridge, died Monday, Jan. 28, 2002, at Potomac Hospital in Woodbridge.
She attended Bel Air and Westridge elementary schools, and she enjoyed arts, crafts and animals.
Survivors include her parents, Dr. Robert A. Murray and Zina T. Murray; a brother, Seth Murray; her maternal grandparents, Ralph and Patricia Riggs of Fredericksburg; her paternal grandmother, Maxie Murray Swartz of Walbridge, Ohio; and her great-grandmother, Linda Fitzgerald of Triangle.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Miller Funeral Home, 3200 Golansky Blvd., Woodbridge, where services will be held in the chapel at 10 a.m. Friday. Interment will follow at Dumfries Cemetery in Dumfries.

Donald M. Olson
Retired U.S. Army Chief Warrant Officer Donald Murrel Olson, W-3, 66, formerly of Woodbridge, died Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2002, at his residence in Latta, S.C.
He served in the Army during the Korean conflict and Vietnam. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda Jones Olson; his son, Troy P. Olson of Woodstock, Calif.; five daughters, Junko Williams and Linda Richardson, both of Woodbridge, and Vickie Fields, Meloney Norsworthy and Genesis Mummert, all of Spotsylvania; one sister, Jo Karen Reason of California; four brothers, Victor Olson and Tennis Olson, both of California, and Mile Gale Olson and Robert Olson, both of Wisconsin; and 11 grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Feb. 12 at Mountcastle Funeral Home, 4143 Dale Blvd., Dale City. Services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday at Ft. Myer Chapel, with interment to follow at Arlington National Cemetery with full military honors.
Leonia E. Harris
Leonia Elizabeth Harris, 61, of Dumfries, died Friday, March 15, 2002, at her home.
She was a member of Neabsco Baptist Church and Woodbridge Senior Citizens. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lucian Harris, Jr.
Survivors include a daughter, Tracy Harris of Woodbridge; two sons, Stacey Harris of Stafford and Glenn Harris of Dumfries; three sisters, Catherine Anderson of Woodbridge, Mildred Johnson of Triangle and Mary Lewis of Woodbridge; and eight grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to noon on today at Neabsco Baptist Church, 15557 Cardinal Drive, Woodbridge where services will be held at noon, with the Rev. Dr. Ambrose Perry officiating. Interment will follow at Stafford Memorial Park, Stafford.

Ruth I. Lewis
Ruth Iva Lewis, 81, of Manassas, died Friday, March 15, 2002, at the Prince William Hospital in Manassas.
She was a member of the Church of The Nazarene of Manassas and she taught Sunday School for 25 years at the Trinity Wesleyan Church of Yorkshire, former Pilgrim Holiness. She served on the Client Involvement Committee of Virginia for several years. She was known for her booklet "Familiar Faces" published in 1961 and she was "Aunt Ruthie" to many who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, George W. "Jerry" Lewis and two grandchildren.
Survivors are six children, Donald F. Lewis, George W. Lewis, III, Alden "Tommy" Lewis, Sr., Joyce C. Brewer, Ruth J. Whetzel, and Judith A. McGlothlin; 23 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Raymond R. Shaver of Oxon Hill, Md.; and one sister, Dorothy Jenkins of Phoenix, Ariz.
The family will receive friends today from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Church of the Nazarene, 8220 Spruce St., Manassas, the service will follow the visitation at 7 p.m., with the Rev. Dick Guizar officiating.

Pauline S. Parris
Pauline Shirley (Bell) Parris died Thursday, March 7, 2002.
She was born March 18, 1935 to John William and Pauline Evelyn (Perry) Bell of Middlebrook. She started her career as a window display designer and bookkeeper for Smart & Thrift Dress Shop in Staunton and earned a graduate degree from Columbia University. Her husband was in the military and they traveled extensively. She was a volunteer to service and military associated programs and was an advocate for military families at Department of the Army symposia. She was an active church member as well as a member of the Order of the Eastern Star at Radiant Chapter No. 109 in Staunton, and she also became a Daughter of Isis in Aswan Court No. 152, Frankfurt, West Germany and later transferred her membership to Magnus Court No. 100 in Alexandria and served as Illustrious Commandress and a Loyal Lady Ruler of Shadrock Jackson Assembly No. 156. She also served as Deputy of the Oasis for Magnus Court and later was appointed the Imperial Court, Daughters of Isis as their deputy of the Commonwealth of Virginia.
Survivors include her husband, Michael Parris; three daughters; her sister, brothers and two grandchildren.
Services will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m., at St. Marks Episcopal Church in Alexandria with interment to follow at Arlington National Cemetery.

Stanley J. Urban
Stanley Joseph Urban, 83, of Lake Ridge, died Friday, March 15, 2002, at the Prince William Hospital.
Born June 30, 1918 in Detroit, he was the second of seven children. He served in the U.S. Army from 1944 to 1946 traveling overseas. He worked for the Trucking Industry as a graphic designer and painter, eventually retiring as a partner of Riverview Day Care Center. He moved to Virginia about 2 1/2 years ago where he became actively involved in the Seniors Ministry of First Mount Zion Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Mary Urban and his wives, Wanda Urban and Velma Urban, two brothers, two sisters and one son.
Survivors include his three children, Christine Brinkman, Phyllis Mugerdichian and Mary Quarles; two sisters, Rita Samus and Gertrude Simon and 10 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday at Mountcastle Funeral Home, 4143 Dale Blvd., Dale City, where services will take place Thursday at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev. Luke Torian officiating. Interment will follow at Quantico National Cemetery with military honors.
Lillian N. Lynch
Lillian Nelson Lynch, 95, of Lake of the Woods, died Thursday, Jan. 3, 2002, at her residence.
She was a longtime member of the First Presbyterian Church, Orange, N.J. and a member of The Presbyterian Church, Fredericksburg. Lynch retired in 1970 as Assistant Treasurer of the Turrell Fund in East Orange, N. J.
She was predeceased by her parents, John and Albine Prahl Nelson; and her husband, John J. Lynch.
Survivors include one daughter, Virginia R. Lynch of Lake of the Woods; one son, Nelson B. Lynch, of Lake of the Woods; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one sister-in-law, Albin B. Nelson of Sterling; and one nephew, John M. Nelson of Manassas.

Mabel Viola Pruitt, 81, of Calverton, died Friday, Jan. 4, 2002 at Fauquier Hospital.
She was a homemaker and a member of Old Dominion Baptist Church, Nokesville.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Clayton Pruitt; and her parents, James and Mattie Smith.
Survivors include four daughters, Elaine Hale of Augusta, Ga., Jessie McGlothlin of Nokesville, Alice P. Sanford of Calverton and Corrine Pruitt of Inwood; three sons, Theodore James Pruitt of Lakeland, Fla., Louis Pruitt of Nokesville and Robert Pruitt of Orange; one sister, Ada Mae Smith of Calverton; 16 grandchildren; and 9 great-great-grandchildren.

Irene H. Caldwell
Irene Hallie Caldwell, 80, of Dale City, died Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2002, at Mary Washington Hospital in Fredericksburg.
Caldwell had been a resident of Dale City since 1968 and a member of Dale City Church of Christ. She was a loving mother and wife.
She is preceded in death by a brother, Claude Davis.
Survivors include her husband, Woodrow N. Caldwell of Dale City; two sons, Gary Wayne and Robert Alan Caldwell, both of Stafford; one sister, Virginia Inez Meyer of Palm Beach, Fla.; and two brothers, James Worley of Helena, Ark. and John Worley of Hornsby, Tenn.

Galeb Joseph Campbell, 3 months, died on Monday, Dec. 31, 2001, at the Children’s Hospital in Washington, D.C.
He is survived by his mother, Jennifer Campbell of Manassas; his grandmother, Debbie Clarkson; his grandfather, Albert Campbell; and his brothers, Shawn McCullough and Christopher McCullough.
A memorial service was held Friday at Lee Funeral Home.

Robert Irvin Morrison, 22, of Woodbridge, died Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2002, at Inova Fairfax Hospital, Falls Church.
He was a 1997 graduate of Woodbridge High School.
Survivors include his father, William H. Morrison Jr. of Woodbridge; his mother, Cheryl L. Morrison of Washington, Ind.; his stepmother, Marlene Morrison of Woodbridge; two brothers, Sean Patrick Morrison of Taneytown, Md., and William H. Morrison of Glen Burnie, Md.; paternal grandparents, Reba and Irvin Martz of Glen Burnie; maternal grandparents, Robert and Virginia Weathers of Washington, Ind.; an uncle, Ronald F. Guy W. Duplantis Sr.
Guy W. Duplantis Sr., 50, died Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2002 in Manassas.
He was originally from Houma and is survived by many loved ones in Virginia and Louisiana.

Percy F. Click
Percy Franklin Click, 77, of Edinburg, died on Thursday, Jan. 4, 2002, at his home.
He was born July 9, 1924 in Shenandoah County. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of the Korean War and World War II. He was a state trooper, retiring in 1984 after 30 years. He served in Clarke County, Warren County, Culpeper County, Prince William County and Appomattox Co. He was a member of Woodstock Cassia Lodge, National Rifle Association, State Police Alumni, Order of the Eastern Star and was a former Virginia State Fire Marshall. He was a member of Grace Episcopal Church, Berryville.
He was predeceased by his parents, William Lorenzo and Martha Jordan Click Sr.
Survivors include his wife, Doris Norwood Click; three daughters, Linda Neal of Purcellville, Janie Wetzel of Winchester and Sherry Giordano of Front Royal; six sisters, Edna Walenga of Woodbridge, Margarette Shelton of Woodstock, Virginia Mowery of Woodstock, Barbara Litten of Forrestville, Carolyn Collier of Manassas and Juna Custer of Quicksburg; five brothers, Virgil Click of Clinton, Md., James David Click of Woodstock, Allen Click of Edinburg, John Paul Click of Edinburg and Robert A.
