Edith Agnes Shaw, 86, of Centreville, died Sunday, Aug. 19, 2001, at Prince William Hospital in Manassas.
She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, Manassas, and was employed with Peebles Department Store for 15 years before retiring in 1966.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Willard W. Shaw.
Survivors include one daughter, Joan Robinson of Manassas; one brother, Carlton Carter of Manassas; one grandchild; and one great-grandchild.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Price Funeral Home, 9609 Center St., Manassas, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday. Interment will follow in Hixson Family Cemetery, Manassas.

Madelynne Evenson
Madelynne C. Evenson, 43, of Woodbridge, died Friday, Aug. 31, 2001, at Potomac Hospital, Woodbridge.
She is survived by her mother, Madelynne C. Evenson; and one brother, Kenneth E. Evenson.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Miller Funeral Home and Crematory, 3200 Golansky Blvd., Woodbridge, where services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday. Interment will be at Lakeview Cemetery, Rutledge, Minn.

William H. Robinson
William Robinson died Saturday, Sept. 1, 2001, at Fairfax Hospital.
He is preceded in death by his stepchild, Genese "Niecy" Jackson.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce Ann Robinson; siblings, Alberta Hogan and Howard Payton; three aunts, one uncle, seven sisters-in-law, four brothers-in-law, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Peace Baptist Church, 8221 Wolf Trap Road, Dunn Loring, and on Friday from 10 to 11 a.m., where services will be held with the Rev. James E. Jeffries officiating. Interment will be held at Pleasant Valley Memorial Park.
Arrangements are by Chinn-Baker Funeral Service.
Marie T. Murray
Marie Thompson Murray, 67, of Mineral Bluff, Ga., died Tuesday, August 28, 2001, at her home following an extended illness.
She was a member of the Loch Lomond Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Murray, brothers, William Mike Thompson, Henry H. Thompson, John Wesley Thompson and Rodger J. Thompson; half sisters, Naoma Pannell and Roxie Russell.
She is survived by one son, David R. Murray of Mineral Bluff; two brothers, James F. Thompson and Wrightly T. Reed; and two sisters, Shirley Perrone and Virginia F. Chairmont.
The family received friends from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., on Sept. 1 at Henry Cochran Funeral Home in Blue Ridge, Ga., where services were held at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Tim Miller and the Rev. Clinton Owens officiating. There will also be a memorial service at the Victory Baptist Church in Nokesville on Saturday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Owens officiating. Graveside services were held at the Glencoe Cemetery in Bigstone Gap on Monday at 2. p.m.
James Dodge
James Robert Dodge, 78, a 40-year resident of Manassas, died Saturday, Aug. 18, 2001, at a nursing home in West Virginia.
He was employed at General Paving of Manassas.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Juanita R. Dodge of Manassas; four children, James Ray Dodge of Ashburn, Robert C. Dodge of Manassas, Stephen W. Dodge of Gaithersburg, Md., and Susan A. Rutz, of Topeka, Kan.; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held in Berea, W.Va., on Aug. 21.
Charlotte Lewis
Charlotte F. Lewis, 86, of Fairfax, formerly of Warrenton, died Friday, July 5, 2002, at Inova Fairfax Hospital, Falls Church.
She was born July 4, 1916. She worked for AT&T for many years.
Survivors include one son, Joseph P. Lucas of Miami; one daughter, Beverly Barton of King George; one cousin, Thomas N. Carter of Manassas; four grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Joynes Funeral Home in Warrenton. Services will be held Saturday at noon at St. Leo The Great Catholic Church, 3700 Old Lee Highway, Fairfax, the Rev. Terry Cramer officiating. Burial will follow at Bright View Cemetery, Warrenton.
Odessa McIntosh
Odessa Leoma McIntosh, 76, of Manassas died Monday, July 8, 2002, at Prince William Hospital, Manassas.
A loving wife and mother, she worked outside the home for many years at Safeway Food Store in Manassas, and was most recently a bus attendant for Prince William County Schools.
Preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Raymond McIntosh on Feb. 22, 1996, she is survived by two daughters, Juanita Whitt and her husband Gene, Brenda Crisp and her husband Bill, one son, John McIntosh and his wife, Virginia, all of Manassas; two brothers, Melvin Cornwell and Robert Cornwell; 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends today from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at Price Funeral Home, 9609 Center St. in Manassas, where services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m., the Rev. Ron Pledger officiating. Burial will follow at Stonewall Memory Gardens, Manassas.
Shirley Williams
Shirley Williams, 60, of Dumfries died Thursday, July 4, 2002, at Prince William Hospital, Manassas.
She was a member of Touch of Hearts Christian Center in Dumfries.
Preceded in death by her parents, John and Edith Little, and one sister, Lillie Mae Pollard, she is survived by her husband, Arthur J. Williams of Dumfries; one daughter, April N. Richardson of Dumfries; three brothers, Guy Little of Mesa, Ariz., the Rev. James Little of Warrenton, and Louis Little of Arlington; three sisters, Iris Todd of Stafford, Louida Williams and Chris Newsome, both of Dale City; one grandchild; many relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends Friday from 11 a.m. until service time at noon at The Star of Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church, 19068 Bethlehem Church Road, Triangle, the Rev. Leonard Lacy officiating. Burial will follow at Glen Haven Memorial Park in Falmouth.

David Aitken Smith
David Aitken Smith, 91, of Haymarket died Saturday, July 6, 2002, of congestive heart failure.
He was a sales manager and an avid photographer.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Margaret Mae Goll Smith, who died April 14, 1998.
He is survived by four children, David Gordon Smith, Judith Lynn Smith, Douglas Craig Smith and Patricia Jean Brauninger; and nine grandchildren.
He was born in Leven, Scotland on Nov. 21, 1910, and moved to the United States at the age of 19. His brother Robert Smith still lives in Scotland.
Services and interment will be private.

Robert Charles Hall, 41, of Fairfax died Thursday, Oct. 25, 2001, at Fair Oaks Hospital.
Survivors include one daughter, Karen Hall of Manassas; one son, Jason Hall of Manassas; his parents, Vernon Lee and Jeanne B. Hall of Fairfax; two sisters, Bonnie Hall of Dallas and Darlene Hall of St. Petersburg, Fla; two brothers, Vernon Hall II of Wardensville, W.Va., and Kevin Hall of Fairfax; and one grandson.

Iola Mountjoy Miller
Iola Mountjoy Miller, 78, of Triangle died Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2001, at Potomac Hospital.
A resident of Triangle for 52 years, she was a member of the Eastern Star Calvin A. Lloyd Chapter of Quantico, Grace Baptist Church and a volunteer at Potomac Hospital in Woodbridge.
Preceded in death by her husbands, William Howard Mountjoy and Kenneth Miller, she is survived by one daughter, Karen S. Sprague of Triangle; three sons, William H. Mountjoy Jr. of Elizabethton, Tenn., Dennis Ray Mountjoy of Stafford and Steve Mountjoy of Triangle; two brothers, Lawrence and Glenn Ford, both of Johnson City, Tenn.; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Mountcastle Funeral Home, 4143 Dale Blvd., Dale City, where an Eastern Star service will be held and where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, the Rev. Tim Perrin officiating.
Interment will follow at Stafford Memorial Park.
Ralph R. Clinedinst
Ralph R. Clinedinst Sr., 83, of Woodbridge died Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2001, at Mary Washington Hospital in Fredericksburg.
He was a member of the American Legion and Bethel United Methodist Church. He moved to Woodbridge in the 1940s and lived there until 1989, when he moved to Spotsylvania.
Preceded in death by his wife, Annie Clinedinst, he is survived by four daughters, Nancy Arrington of Woodbridge, Carol Scafer of Manassas, Janet Cornell of Woodbridge and Gail Petty of Spotsylvania; two sons, Ralph ‘Sonny’ Clinedinst Jr. and Gary Clinedinst, both of Spotsylvania; one sister, Arvilla Kelly of Mt. Solon; 19 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-granchildren.
The family will receive friends from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Monday at Mountcastle Funeral Home, 4143 Dale Blvd., Dale City, where an American Legion Service will be follow at 10:30 a.m., the Rev. Fred Parish officiating.
Interment will follow at Mount Comfort Cemetery.
Patricia S. Glaze
Patricia Stewart Glaze, 63, of Manassas, died Tuesday, March 26, 2002, at Hospice of Northern Virginia in Arlington.
Glaze was a member of the Vienna Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary and the Vienna Ladies of the Moose.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert P. Glaze, who died in 1971; and two sisters, Mary Jean Capella and Mickey Hewitt.
Survivors include two sons, Robert P. Glaze II and Charles M. Glaze, both of Manassas; one daughter, Lisa M. Gambill of Smyrna, Tenn.; three brothers, Richard Spinks of Bedford; Jerry Spinks of Elberton, Ga.; and Steve Spinks of Virginia Beach; nine grandchildren, Lynsi, Bobby, Cheri, Adam, Jessica, J.D., Joshua, Taylor and Brandi.

Paul Spencer Hurst, 50, of Manassas, died Tuesday, March 26, 2002, at Prince William Hospital in Manassas.
He was born April 18, 1951, in Leesburg to John and Nellie Hurst. He was a member of the Little River Baptist Church in Aldie.
He is survived by three children, Angela M. Hurst and Mickey Hurst, both of Arlington, and Noah A. Hurst of Rockford, Ill.; two brothers, Jack W. Hurst of Winchester and Alan D. Hurst of Roanoke, Ala.; four sisters, Eleanor M. Smallwood of Columbia, S.C., Lois F. Gilley of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and Iris E. Shurick and Janice E. Nagle, both of Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.
