Though your love for us was strong, your body was weakening and you were tired. God knew this. You hesitated not once and did as he bid, for you were ready. You didn't have time to tell us that you were going home, but we knew then as we do now of the love you carry for each of us. With a smile upon our lips, we remember the things we did and the time we had together. With tears falling from our eyes, we remember the things we talked of doing, yet will never get the chance. One day God will call to us to come home, and neither shall we hesitate to answer him. We will remember you always. Then maybe we could understand why someone we loved so dearly, could slip out of our hand. One year ago, God took you. Our lives will never be the same. Not a day goes by without thinking of you, and many times calling your name. Losing you at such a young age has broke our hearts in two. We know God had his reasons, but accepting is so hard to do. Brian, we carry your smile and your good heart with us always. Although we know that we'll see you again in Heaven, our hearts still would give anything to have you back here.
