Obituary:
Daniel Alexander Jacobs, 86, of Reva, Virginia passed away at Autumn Care of Madison, November 18, 2004. Dan was born in Fauquier County, Virginia, December 10, 1917 to Grenville Jacobs and Bertha Shackelford Jacobs. Mr. Jacobs served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and retired as a farmer.
Surviving Mr. Jacobs are a stepson Kenny Nash and his wife Jackie and their daughter Brittni of Churchville, Virginia, sisters Mollie Jacobs Payne of Marshall, Virginia, Thelma Jacobs Crawford of Fairfax, Virginia and a number of nieces and nephews. Dan’s parents, a brother and wife Elizabeth Jenkins Jacobs preceded him in death.
Graveside funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 23, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. in the NEW Culpeper National Cemetery, Chandler Street, Culpeper, Virginia with military honors provided by the American Legion Post 330 and V.F.W. Post 2524 Honor Guard. Rev. Trey Hensley will conduct the service.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Woodville Baptist Church, c/o Mindy Alexander, 873 Hawlin Road, Woodville, Virginia 22749. The Clore-English Funeral Home has been entrusted with these arrangements.

Obituary:
Margaret Pingley Cumbo, 56, of Jeffersonton, Virginia, passed away Friday, November 19, 2004 at her home. She was born June 5, 1948 in Arlington, Virginia and was a graduate of Woodbridge High School and the University of Alabama with a degree in Journalism, Summa Cum Laude.
Mrs. Cumbo was preceded in death by her mother Mary Lenore Lytle Pingley and her father Austin W. Pingley, both of Woodbridge, Virginia.
Following college, Mrs. Cumbo worked for several years in San Antonio, Texas and Chicago, Illinois for advertising firms. She later worked part time for the Faith Mountain Company until it’s closure. The past several years, Mrs. Cumbo, an avid horseperson and animal rights activist, had concentrated on homemaking, riding and caring for her many beloved animals.
Survivors include her husband Robert O. Cumbo of the home; step-son Steven Cumbo of Fayetteville, Arkanas; mother-in-law Helen Cumbo of Oakfield, New York; sister-in-law Peggy Monachino of Oakfield, New York; sister-in-law Connie Fragnito and the late Joseph Fragnito of Batavia, New York; Erica Fragnito of Rochester, New York and Sam and Lori Monachino of Batavia, New York.
A Memorial Service was held Saturday, November 20, 2004 at the Clore-English Funeral Home, Culpeper, Virginia. Rev. Liz Danielson conducted the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 1747, Culpeper, Virginia 22701 or to Hospice of the Rapidan, P.O. Box 1715, Culpeper, Virginia 22701.
