Verna Laurellen Barnhart, 75, of Lynchburg and formerly of Bakersfield, Calif., died Wednesday, Jan. 13, 1999 in Lynchburg General Hospital. She was the wife of the late Logan Franklin Barnhart. Born near Reydon, Okla., Sept. 14, 1923, she was a daughter of the late Walter Earl Butler and Lillie May Goodwin Butler. Mrs. Barnhart was active with Avon Cosmetic sales for over 30 years. She was a member of Thomas Road Baptist Church and was a member of the Liberty University Board of Regents. Survivors include five children, whom she loved very much, three sons, Logan E. Barnhart of Franktown, Colo., Walter R. Barnhart of El Cajon, Calif., William F. Barnhart of Bakersfield, Calif.; two daughters, Verna Kathleen Applegate of Gilbert, S.C. and Rebecca Kay Juarez of San Jose, Calif.; two brothers, Charles Butler of Bodfish, Calif. and Cecil Butler of Jackson, S.C.; one sister, Erla May Adams of Lee’s Summit, MO., 14 grandchildren, four step-grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday from the Pate Chapel at Thomas Road Baptist Church with Dr. Jerry Falwell officiating. Graveside services will be conducted at a later date in Calif. The family will receive friends from 7-8:30 p.m. today at Whitten Timberlake Chapel. Claude Godfrey Chambers
Claude Godfrey Chambers of Lynchburg, departed this life Thursday, Jan. 14, 1999 at the VA Medical Center in Salem. Born March 6, 1926, he was the son of the late Ancel Junious Chambers and Bessie Hopson Chambers. Four brothers preceded him in death. He is survived by one brother, Anderson (Pudding) Chambers; two aunts, Mrs. Irene Johnson and Mrs. Estelle Cabell; two godchildren, James King and Ruby King; a companion, Mrs. Elizabeth Farmer; two devoted friends, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Miller all of Lynchburg and a host of other relatives and friends. A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 17, 1999 at Community Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. C.W. Dunning II officiating. Interment in the Baptist Cemetery. Jessie Turner Coleman of Dover, Del., departed this life Wednesday, Jan. 13, 1999. She was 51. Jessie was born in Bedford, Aug. 27, 1947 to the late Theodore and Cora Turner. She was preceded in death by a sister, Henrietta Turner. She was an employee of the Dover Air Force Base Commissary. She is survived by her husband, Bernard Coleman of Dover, Del.; a son, Calvin Coleman and daughter-in-law, Tina Coleman of San Clemente, Calif.; daughter, Rhonda Coleman of Dover, Del.; three sisters, Rachel Bobien of Cherry Hill, N.J., Laura Alexander of Huddleston Mamie Lee of Huddleston; six brothers, Curtis Turner of Evington, Jack Turner of Leesburg, Fla., Onnie Turner of Evington, Robert Turner of Hampton, Rufus Turner of Hampton, George Turner of Huddleston; two grandchildren, Djavan Coleman of San Clemente, Calif. and Malik Coleman-Hayes of Dover, Del. Ethel Thacker Frymyer
Ethel Thacker Frymyer, 91, died Monday, Jan. 11, 1999 at Lynchburg General Hospital. She was the beloved wife of Herman Frymyer. Mrs. Frymyer was born July 3, 1907 in Staunton to James D. Thacker and Emma Loyall Thacker. She was a member of Chestnut Hill Baptist Church. She is survived by her son, Arthur G. Frymyer and three grandchildren. She was laid to rest at Spring Hill Cemetery on Jan. 15, 1999. Diuguid Wiggington Chapel was in charge of the arrangements.

Thomas Samuel Moore
Thomas Samuel Moore, 67, of Lynchburg, died Thursday, Jan. 14, 1999 at Guggenheimer Nursing Home. Born Feb. 23, 1931 in Lynchburg, he was a son of the late Joseph Henry Moore Sr. and the late Maggie Cofflin Moore. Mr. Moore was retired from C.B. Fleet and was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean Conflict. In addition to his parents, Mr. Moore was preceded in death by a sister, Edith M. Megginson. He is survived by two brothers, Joseph H. Moore and his wife, Joyce and William K. Moore and his wife, Margaret all of Lynchburg; two sisters, Elva M. Faulconer also of Lynchburg and Nancy M. Carlson of Chalfont, Pa. At Mr. Moore’s request, a private graveside service was conducted Friday at Fort Hill Memorial Park by the Rev. Herb Maynard. Whitten Timberlake Chapel served the family.

Arlie Martin Pettypool, 89, of 501 VES Road, died Jan. 14, 1999 at Drinkard Health Care Center. She was the wife of C.L. Pettypool. Born in Wakita, Okla. in 1909, she was the daughter of the late Edgar and Bessie Martin. Mrs. Pettypool was a retired teacher, a member of the Oklahoma Education Association, the National Retired Teachers Association and a member of the Community Church in Bella Vista, Ark. Mrs. Pettypool was preceded in death by her son, Jay Martin Poole. She is survived by one daughter, Jan and David Johnson of Lynchburg; two grandchildren, Kerke and Lynne Johnson of Norfolk, Elizabeth and Ivan Boatner of Norris, Tenn. and two great-grandchildren, Hayley and Peyton Johnson of Norfolk. Ruby Kyle Sherrod, 92, of Ashland, died Jan. 14, 1999. She was the widow of Roland H. Sherrod. She is survived by her daughters, Phyllis Farnsworth and Martha Porter both of Mechanicsville; her son, Roland Sherrod of Montpelier; her sister, Mary Shanholtz of Richmond; her brothers, Henry Kyle of Timonium, Md. and Watts Kyle of Ashland 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Oakley Pritchett White, 91, of Buena Vista, died Thursday, Jan. 14, 1999 in a Richmond hospital. She was born April 14, 1907 in Radford, daughter of the late John Thomas and Jesse Bouldin Pritchett. She was a retired school teacher with the Buena Vista City Schools. She was a member of the Buena Vista Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin Mayo White. She is survived by her children and their spouses, Judith W. and Holt Livesay of Richmond, John T. and Bettye White of Arrington and Robert C. and Judy White of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; eight grandchildren, Michelle D’Antoni, Holt Livesay Jr., Melissa Allen, John White Jr., Caroline Oley, Whitney White, Virginia Livesay and Andrew White. Mary Louise Alvis, 86, of Lynchburg, died Thursday, Jan. 14, 1999 at Guggenheimer Nursing Home. Born in Lynchburg, she was a daughter of the late George William and Rowena Sweeney Alvis. She was a member of Memorial United Methodist Church and a retired employee of the U.S. government. She is survived by two brothers, A. Thomas Alvis and his wife, Dorothy, Hawkins Alvis of Richmond, Frederick A. Alvis and his wife, Sonia (Barbara) Alvis of Lynchburg; a sister, Chessera Alvis Burks of Lynchburg and a number of nieces and nephews. Hazel Dooley Amos, 80, of Thaxton, died Wednesday, Jan. 13, 1999 at Carilion Bedford Memorial Hospital. She was born in Bedford County, Sept. 6, 1918, a daughter of the late Harry Lee Dooley and Perry Lee Overstreet Dooley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Spencer Amos; three sisters, Gladys Amos, Mary Phillips and Elsie Dooley and a grandson, Michael Lee Gray. She was a member of Cool Spring Presbyterian Church. She is survived by two sons, Joseph R. Amos and his wife, Ellaree of Madison Heights and David W. Amos and his wife, Barbara of Thaxton; four daughters, Inis A. “Sally” Gray and her husband, Donald, Margie A. Wheeler and her husband, James, Betty A. Vernell Sprouse Humphries, 67, of 1765 Cedar Gate Road, Madison Heights, died Thursday, Jan. 14, 1999 at Virginia Baptist Hospital. She was the wife of Archie E. Humphries. Born in Piney River, April 28, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Richard Buck Sprouse and Dora Stinnette Sprouse. Vernell was a faithful and dedicated Supervisor of Old Dominion Box Company for 46 years. She was a member of Elon Baptist Church, where she sang in the choir for many years and served as Secretary for 19 years. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Elwood Sprouse, Robert Sprouse and Howard Sprouse and two sisters, Dorothy Carr and Christine Settle. In addition to her husband, she is survived by one son, Leroy Humphries and his wife, Teresa of Madison Heights; four daughters, Brenda Staton and her husband, Clayton, Cynthia Stinson and her husband, Steve, Darlene Humphries all of Madison Heights and Chancer Jamison and her husband, Barry of Lynchburg; one brother, Morris Junior Sprouse of Amherst; one sister, Esther Burnley of Baltimore, Md. and six grandchildren, Tammy Stinson, Dustin Stinson, Stephanie Humphries, Amy Humphries, Olivia Adkins and Paul Adkins. A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in Elon Baptist Church by Dr. Charles Jolley and the Rev. Eugene Campbell. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. In addition to his father, he leaves to mourn three daughters, two sons and three sisters, Ms. Gaynelle H. Brown of Colorado Springs, Colo., Mrs. Carrie H. Brown of Jamaica, N.Y. and Mrs. Delores H. BROOKNEAL — Ada Holmes Jordan, 96, of Route 2, died Wednesday evening, Jan. 13, 1999 at Camelot Hall Nursing Home in Lynchburg. She was born in Halifax County, Nov. 27, 1902, daughter of the late John Moses Jordan and Eugenia Waller Jordan. She was a member of Clover Bottom Baptist Church. She is survived by one sister, Onnie J. Martin of Lynchburg and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by four brothers, Hubert Jordan, Robert Jordan, Jesse Jordan and Johnnie Jordan; three sisters, Janie Jordan, Bernice Clay and Hessie Wheeler. Mrs. Catherine Louise Payne departed this life Wednesday, Jan. 13, 1999 at the Carilion Bedford Memorial Nursing Home. She was born to the late Fletcher and Catherine Johnson on April 14, 1926. She joined the Oakmulgee Baptist Church at an early age and remained a faithful member until late in her illness. She was a member of Senior Choir and Ladies Aide. She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Katie E. Payne; one son, Calvin N. Payne; one grandson, Gerriod Ferguson. She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Arthur Lee Payne; seven daughters, Jean (Gerald) Ferguson, Mary L. Payne, Nancy (Leroy) Carson, Vickie (Billy) Gilmore, Rachel Payne, Alice Payne and Constance Payne; five sons, Bobby (Cristy) Payne, Larry D. Payne, Charles M. Myrtle Hite Quick, 88, of Lynchburg, formerly of Amherst, died Wednesday, Jan. 13, 1999 at Grace Lodge. She was the wife of the late Sidney Quick. Born in Nelson County, she was a daughter of the late McDonald and Maybell Campbell Hite. Mrs. Quick was a homemaker and a member of Bethel Baptist Church, Amherst. She is survived by one daughter, Annie Bell Horsmon of Amherst; two brothers, Robert Hite of Tyro and Bernard Hite of Lynhurst; two sisters, Irene Palmer of Stuarts Draft and Bethel Mays of Amherst; five grandchildren, James Horsmon, Steve Horsmon, Ronnie Horsmon, Marlyn Jones and Delores Sprouse. Marshall Raye Witt
Marshall Raye Witt, 46, of Forest, was called to be with the Lord Wednesday, Jan. 13, 1999 at Lynchburg General Hospital. He was the husband of Sandra Bruffy Witt for 25 years. Mr. Witt was born Feb. 17, 1952 in Bedford to the late Macon Witt and the late Florence Goodman Witt. He was an active member of Clearview Baptist Church and was employed by L.G. Flint Inc. Marshall never met a stranger and was loved by all. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons, Steven Witt and his fiancé, Amy Tribbett and J.T. Witt of Forest; his sister, Cynthia Witt of Bedford; his mother-in-law, Nellie Bruffy of Rustburg; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Don and Faye Brooks, Carlton and Evelyn Bruffy, Melvin and Angelia Bruffy; a god daughter, Hollie Bruffy and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 16, 1999 in the Pate Chapel at Thomas Road Baptist Church with Dr. Wayne Green and the Rev. Carlton Duck officiating. Curneal M. Yuille
Curneal M. Yuille, a long time resident of Gladys, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, Jan. 12, 1999. Curneal was born to Thomas and Polly Yuille in Campbell County on April 29, 1911. He received his public education in the Campbell County Public School System. Curneal professed faith in Christ at an early age and became a member of the St. Luke Baptist Church, Brookneal. For many years he was a carpenter for construction until his retirement. Curneal M. Yuille leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Annie P. Yuille of Gladys; five daughters, Ollie Mae Smith of Gladys, Josie Whitson of Newark, N.J., Phyllis Hubbard and husband, Robert of Long Island, Shirley Yuille of East Orange, N.J. and Frances Dyke of Orlando, Fla.; three sons, Clayton Yuille and wife, Mary of Lynchburg, Rev. L.L. Yuille and wife, Maxine of Rustburg and Henry Yuille and wife, Brenda of Gladys. David Wilson Brent, 62, of Lowesville, died Tuesday, Jan. 12, 1999 at Virginia Baptist Hospital after a long illness. Born in Fauquier County, Sept. 13, 1936, he was the son of the late David Thornhill Brent and Evelyn Duncan Brent. David was a member of Piney River Baptist Church, retired mechanic of Archer Creek Interment Foundry and served for over 30 years as a member of the Piney River Volunteer Fire Department. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Lucy Mae Massie Brent; a daughter, Evelyn B. Cash and husband, Michael E. of Amherst; three grandchildren, Dana Marie Jennings, Jacob Cash and Stephanie Cash; a devoted cousin, Bernard J. John Jay “Johnny” Cunningham
John Jay “Johnny” Cunningham, 69, of 481 Hico Drive, Madison Heights, died Tuesday, Jan. 12, 1999 at his residence. He was the husband of Ethel Drinkard Cunningham. Born in Amherst County, he was a son of the late Ross Allen and Dorothy Young Cunningham. Mr. Cunningham was an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict, a member of White United Methodist Church, The Izaak Walton League and Park, where he was a past president and served on the Board of Directors and retired from the U.S. Postal Service. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a sister, Cerise Wills and two brothers, Haywood and Milton Cunningham all of Gladstone. Adam Crisman (Cris) Hardy Jr., 64, of Bedford, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 12, 1999 at his home. Born in Bedford County, he was the son of the late Adam C. Hardy Sr. and Willie Bowyer Hardy. He was a lifetime farmer and livestock dealer. He was a member of the Salem United Methodist Church, the Peaksville Odd Fellows Lodge #406 for 46 years and a member of the Lynchburg B.P.O.E. Elks Lodge #321. James Paul Milton
James Paul Milton, 55, of 295 Shady Oak Drive, Madison Heights, died Tuesday, Jan. 12, 1999 in Monroe. Born Dec. 5, 1943 in Campbell County, he was a son of the late Elbert Samuel A. and Ada Bullock Milton. Mr. Milton retired from the City of Albuquerque, N.M., where he spent most of his life. He was a graduate of the Virginia Military Institute and a decorated U.S. Army Captain during the Vietnam War. Mr. Milton is survived by two sisters, Jean M. Stratton and her husband, Jack of Appomattox and Joy M. Bondurant and her husband, Carter of Concord; two brothers, Harrison Milton and his wife, Marie of Madison Heights and E. Lee Milton of Norfolk; one aunt, Virginia Thornhill of Lynchburg and five nephews, David M. Stratton, M. Dennis Stratton, Mark S. Milton, Donald T. Milton and Timothy H. Milton. Launa Anderson Murray
Mrs. Launa A. Murray, 94, went home to be with her Lord and Saviour on Jan. 9, 1999 in Bronx Lebanon Hospital, Bronx, N.Y. after a long illness. Her husband was the late Jacob Murray. Born in Bedford County, July 17, 1904, she was the daughter of the late Burl Anderson and Lucy Roach Anderson. Launa joined and was baptized at Holcomb Rock Baptist Church and stayed a faithful member until she moved to N.Y., where she joined Trinity Baptist Church and remained a faithful member until her health failed. She was a member of many church organizations. Mrs. Murray graduated from Virginia Seminary and College in 1928. She leaves to mourn her loss, one loving and devoted sister, Mrs. Lucy V. Sadler of Coleman Falls; two sisters-in-law, Mrs. Ida Anderson and Mrs. Josephine Anderson both of Lynchburg; a devoted niece, Mrs. Oneida Jones of N.Y. and a devoted nephew, Frederick W. He was the husband of the late Dorothy McDaniel Clowdis. He was born in Campbell County, Oct. 12, 1924, son of the late Vernon Clowdis and Blanche Henderson Clowdis Boisseau. Theresa Marie Miller, 27, of 564 Lake Nelson Lane in Arington, died Sunday evening at her residence. Born in Woodbury, N.J., Sept. 10, 1971, she was a daughter of Raymond M. Gradishar and Veronica O. Gradishar of Washington, W.Va. Theresa was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Lovingston and secretary of the Nelson Pantry. She was a Summa Cum Laude graduate of West Virginia Wesleyan College with a BA degree in English and was a graduate student at George Mason University in Fairfax. Theresa was an editor, having edited both her college newspaper and year book. Besides her parents, she is survived by her husband, Gregory L. Miller and their infant son, Zachary L. Miller both of the residence; a sister, Veronica E. Angle of Chesapeake; four brothers, Raymond M. Gradishar Jr. of Laurel, Md., Robert F. Gradishar of Columbia, Md., Andrew J. Gradishar of Sykesville, Md., Thomas L. Gradishar of Blacksburg; her maternal grandmother, Veronica Ogrodnick of Audenried, Pa.; her father-in-law, Steven L. Frances Louise Haas of 3426 Fort Avenue, died Monday, Jan. 11, 1999 in Virginia Baptist Hospital. Born in Lynchburg, April 2, 1919, she was the seventh of 12 children born to the late Zaida Morris Haas and William Miles Haas. She was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church. Miss Haas was preceded in death by one sister, Jean H. Morris and five brothers, W.M. Haas Jr., James T. Haas, L. Layman Hass, Morris F. Haas and John E. Haas. She is survived by four sisters, Elizabeth H. Miller of Lynchburg, Cecil H. Cox of Delray Beach, Fla., Margaret H. Wilson of Appomattox and Audrey H. Houser of Houston, Texas; one brother, Richard C. Haas of Lynchburg and many devoted nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Diuguid Rivermont Chapel by the Rev. Joseph T. Carson III. Mary Alice Miller Irvine
Mary Alice Miller Irvine, 91, of Lynchburg, died Sunday, Jan. 10, 1999 in Lynchburg General Hospital. She was the wife of the late Lucian Calvin Irvine. Born in Rockbridge County, Dec. 23, 1907, she was a daughter of the late Howard Newton Miller and Margaret Swisher Miller. She was a member of Central Advent Christian Church. Mrs. Irvine is survived by six sons, Carl “Pete” Irvine of Covington, Lee Roy Irvine and Howard “Tommy” Irvine both of Lynchburg, Ronald Irvine and Larry Irvine both of Madison Heights and Robert Irvine of Forest; four daughters, Betty Peery and Mary Helen White both of Newport News, Nancy Glover of Lynchburg and Shirley Selby of Mich.; one sister, Ada Brackman of Rainelle, W.Va.; one brother, James H. Miller of Lynchburg, 36 grandchildren, 53 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by two sons, Calvin and Donald Irvine; one grandson, Brian White and three sisters, Una Brown, Virginia Moore and Ethel Hylton. Born Dec. 13, 1929 in Pittsylvania County, she was the daughter of Annie Drewery Mathews of Hurt and the late Lawrence Alexander Mathews. Mrs. Peak was a loving daughter, wife, mother and grandmother. She was a member of the Lynchburg Church of God of Prophecy. Johnny was born in Pittsylvania County, March 28, 1914, a son of the late John Richard and Josie Motley Simpson. He was a fifty year Mason and a member of Monroe Lodge 301 AF and AM, Kazim Shrine Temple of Roanoke, U.C.T. and a member of Liberty Baptist Church. He was a former Virginia State Trooper for 13 years, former owner/operator of Simpson Food Market, a representative of Simmons Monument Co., and a retired employee of Central Virginia Training Center with 17 years service. In addition to his wife, he is survived by four children, Mac Simpson of Alexandria, William C. Simpson and his wife Janis of Chatham, Wayne C. Simpson and his wife Peggie, Kitty S. Farris and her husband, Michael all of Appomattox; eight grandchildren, Scott Simpson of Burlington, N. C., Jason Farris, Christopher N. Born in Bronx, N.Y., she had lived many years in Amherst and Winchester, Mass. moving to Farmington 1-1/2 years ago. AMHERST - Roy Earl Cash, 85, of Campbell’s Mill Road, Amherst, passed away Friday, Jan. 8, 1999 at McGuire Veterans Hospital. Ernest Kelso Clark, 80, of 2129 Pocket Road, Hurt died Saturday, Jan. 9, 1999 in Lynchburg General Hospital. He was the husband of Virginia Howell Clark. Born May 19, 1918, in Wise County, he was a son of the late Taylor and Martha Cross Clark. He was a retired employee of The Lane Company and a U.S. Army veteran of WWII. Eleanor Meacham Grier
Eleanor Meacham Grier of Westminster-Canterbury died Fri. Jan 8, 1999. She was born March 22, 1920 in Acton, Ind., a daughter of the late Oscar Frederick and Edna Irene Neal Meacham. In 1947 she was married to Paul L. Grier, former librarian of Hampden-Sydney College. In addition to her husband, she is survived by two brothers and two sisters; Dr. Paul L. Meacham of Philadelphia, David M. Meacham of Indianapolis, Ind., F. Lucile Meacham of Richmond, Ind. and Dr. Esther A. Meacham of Columbus, Ohio. Mrs. Grier was a graduate of Indiana University and held a degree in library science from the University of Michigan. She was a member of the library staff at Indiana University and also at the University of Michigan. She served as secretary to President Edgar G. Gammon of Hampden-Sydney College for five years before joining the Hampden-Sydney Eggleston Library staff where she served as Acquisitions Librarian until her retirement in 1979. She was a member of Phi Beta Kappa, Phi Kappa Phi, Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, Association for the Preservation of Virginia Antiquities and the College Hill Club of Hampden-Sydney. In 1979 she was the recipient of the Algernon Sydney Sullivan Medallion. A devoted church woman, she held various offices in the Women of College Church at Hampden-Sydney. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 13, 1999 in the chapel at Westminster-Canterbury, Lynchburg with Dr. Henry Mahler officiating. APPOMATTOX - Robert Pollard Kinney, 77, of Route 3, died early Saturday morning, Jan. 9, 1999 in Lynchburg General Hospital of lung cancer. He was the husband of Margaret (Peggy) Bailey Kinney. Robert was born in Appomattox County, Oct. 18, 1921, a son of the late Judson S. and Willie Moss Kinney. He was a retired employee of the Virginia Department of State Police with 36 years service, a Navy veteran of World War II and a member of Appomattox Courthouse Presbyterian Church, AARP, Appomattox County Chamber of Commerce, National Association of Retired Federal Employees and a Life Member of American Legion Post #104. In addition to his wife of 53 years, he is survived by two brothers, Judson S. Kinney, Jr. of Norfolk; Kennon W. Frederick William Merkert, Sr., 80, died Saturday, Jan. 9, 1999 at Lynchburg General Hospital. He was the widower of Hazel Martha Merkert. Moon of Long Island; a close friend, Evelyn Arthur of Lynchburg. A funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 11, 1999 at Brookneal Baptist Church by the Rev. Rick Sadler and the Rev. Elton McDowell with burial to follow at Falling River Baptist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-7:30 p.m. today at Henderson Funeral Home and will be at the residence of his son, Michael Rudder, 122 New London Drive, Lynchburg other times. Memorials may be made to the Patrick Henry Boys Plantation or the Brookneal Rescue Squad. Henderson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
