LEROY GRIMES, 94, husband of the late Ella Mae Grimes, died at Brooklyn Hospital Center on Monday, Aug. 7, 2000.
Born in Portsmouth, Va., Mr. Grimes was the pastor of the Church of God and True Holiness.
Funeral services were held at Cornish Funeral Home, Cheriton, on Monday, Aug. 14, at 1 p.m.
The Rev. John Wynder officiated.
Interment was in African Baptist Church Cemetery, Cheriton.
Mr. Grimes is survived by two daughters, Erma Spady of Brooklyn, N.Y. and Mary Perry of Baltimore, Md.; a son, Leroy Grimes Jr. of Brooklyn; a daughter-in-law, Mazelle Grimes; a sister, Helen Doughtie; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

LEE VINCENT JULIAN, 89, husband of the late Helen Doka Julian and Nancy Smith Julian and a resident of Smith's Beach, died at his residence on Saturday, Aug. 12, 2000.
Born in Bridgeport, Conn., and reared in Queens, N.Y., Mr. Julian was the retired owner of Lee Julian, Inc.
Mr. Julian is survived by a daughter, Candace S. Nottingham of Smith's Beach; a brother, Henry Edward Pierce of Peconic, N.Y.; two grandchildren, Lee Foster Nottingham III and April Leigh Nottingham; three nieces, Janet Evers, Nancy Will and Janice Prigge; and four nephews, Andrew and Gene Wlock and Paul and Donald Stevens.

DONALD ALEXANDER MARSH, 61, husband of Bonnie Marsh and a resident of Cape May Court House, N.J., formerly of Onancock, died at Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital on Thursday, Aug. 10, 2000.
Born in Cape Charles, Mr. Marsh worked for the Cape May County MUA and the Magnesite Plant in Cape May County.
He served in the U.S. Army and the New Jersey Army National Guard.
He was a member of the Moose Lodge of Wildwood Crest, the Villas Fishing Club, Local #195 of the Cape May County MUA, and the VFW Post #3725, where he was Post Jr. Vice Commander.
Funeral services were conducted from the graveside at the Fairview Lawn Cemetery on Monday, Aug. 14, at 2 p.m.
The Rev. Charles Shumate officiated.
Other than his wife, Mr. Marsh is survived by his children, Jeffrey W. Davis, Monty K. Davis and Timothy N. Davis, all of Newport News, Va., and Kimberly Davis of Poquoson, Va.; his mother, Gladys C. Marsh of Onancock; a brother, Van C. Marsh of Onancock; and ten grandchildren.

EFFIE SUSAN RICHARDSON, 95, a resident of Salisbury, Md., died at Arcadia Nursing Center on Wednesday, Aug. 9, 2000.
A native of Bridgetown, Miss Richardson was the daughter of the late Edward Davis and Mary Carpenter Richardson.
She was a retired bookkeeper for Bounds Package Corp., Hebron, Md., and Long Law Offices, Salisbury.
Graveside services were held at Johnson's Cemetery on Saturday, Aug. 12, at 11 a.m. conducted by Rev. Jack D. Pruitt.
Miss Richardson is survived by two sisters, Elizabeth R. Phillips of Keller, and Thelma R. Byrd of Glenoma, Wash.; and several nieces and nephews.

CHRISTINE ROGERS, 67, a resident of Belle Haven, died at Shore Memorial Hospital, Nassawadox, on Friday, July 28, 2000.
Born in Cape Charles and reared in Belle Haven, Ms. Rogers was the daughter of the late Flossie Fisher Rogers.
She was a homemaker.
Funeral services were conducted at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church on Saturday, Aug. 5, at 1 p.m. Pastor Jeffrey Smith officiated.
Interment was in New Mt. Zion Church Cemetery, Painter.
Ms. Rogers is survived by a daughter, Sharon Denise Rogers of Belle Haven; two sons, Bryan Keith Rogers of Belle Haven and Michael Rogers of Parksley; and two grandchildren.

PV2 RICHARD 'RICH' DION SAVAGE, 27, husband of Gay Rebecca Savage and a resident of Onley, died in Treherneville on Tuesday, Aug. 8, 2000.
Born in Nassawadox, Mr. Savage was the son of Richard G. Savage.
He was a welder.
Funeral services were private with military honors.
Other than his wife and father, Mr. Savage is survived by a daughter, Kaitlyn Savage, and a cousin, Jim Taylor.

ARTHUR A. THOMAS, 47, a resident of Treherneville, died in Treherneville on Tuesday, Aug. 8, 2000.
Born and reared in Northampton County, Mr. Thomas was the son of the late William and Dorothy Kellam Thomas.
Funeral services were held at Antioch Baptist Church on Saturday, Aug. 12, at 3 p.m.

Born in Pavencul, Mexico, Mr. Velazquez was the son of Aurelio Perez and Clementa Velazquez.
