November 19, 1960 - May 01, 2003
Elizabeth Huelette, known as Miss Elizabeth to wrestling fans, was pronounced dead at the Kennestone Hospital in Cobb County Georgia at 5:45 this morning at the age of 42 years.
Described by many as the "First Lady" of professional wrestling, she was a major name in WWF during the eighties as the manager of her real-life husband at the time, Randy "Macho Man" Savage. Savage and Huelette joined the WWF in 1985.
The Frankfort, Kentucky westler was one of the more recognizable and popular Stars of the WWF and was the focus of many major WWF storylines during the wrestling boom. Many of the angles revolved around her and Savages' off-again, on-again love affair. Savage even proposed to her on a WWE television broadcast in 1992 and married her at the SummerSlam pay-per-view even though the pair were really married in 1984. She divorced Savage in 1992.
After leaving the WWE and disappearing from the wrestling scene, she returned briefly to World Championship Wrestling in 1995 and worked with Savage once again.
