Wenonah (Glover) Norway, 81, of East Hartland and formerly of Granby, widow of Winston K. Norway Sr., died Tuesday, June 12, 2001, at her home.
Born in Derby on November 2, 1919, daughter of the late William and Edith Glover, Mrs. Norway had lived in Granby for 35 years, moving to East Hartland eight years ago. Before retiring in 1986, she was employed by Helco-Northeast U. Simsbury office for 17 years. She was a member of Granby Grange No. 5.
She leaves her children: Virginia Davis of Brownington, Gail Norway-Daddario of East Windsor, Carolyn Norway-Buyak of Riverton, Ruth Norway (Parsons) of East Hartland, Winston Norway Jr. of Merrimack, New Hampshire, Donna Norway of Granville, Massachusetts, and Beverly Norway-Czekierda of Torrington; by 19 grandchildren; and by 27 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by three sons: David, Merrill, and Calvin Norway Sr.; by three sisters: her twin, Wilma Glover, Avis Ashner, and Wildie Hinton; and by seven brothers: Eugene, Calvin, Lyle, Stuart, Merrill, Reginald, and Hayden Glover.
Funeral services were held Friday, June 15, at First Church in Hartland, Congregational East Hartland Center, with the Reverend Susanna W. Fitch-Slater officiating. Graveside services and burial were Saturday at Derby Center Cemetery.

Ashley Edwin Roberts
Ashley Edwin Roberts, 75, of Torrington, Connecticut, died Thursday, June 7, 2001, at Hartford Hospital. He was the husband of Rita (Smith) Roberts.
Mr. Roberts was born August 7, 1925, in Brooks, Maine, son of the late Raymond and Nina (Dickey) Roberts. He was a plant engineer for the Capewell Manufacturing Company for 33 years. He served in the United States Marines in the military police in World War II and the Korean War and retired with the rank of corporal. Mr. Roberts was an avid fisherman, and he loved to golf and garden.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Elaine (Ellie) Roberts of West Glover, and Sharon Ashley Roberts of New Britain, Connecticut; by a brother Edgar Roberts and his wife, Leona, of Southington, Connecticut; by five grandchildren: Judy Abare and her husband, Rick, of Southington; JoHanna Maches of Thomaston, Connecticut; Kelly Todd and her husband, Ben, of Barton; and Grayson Roberts of New Britain; and by a great-grandson, Dustin, of Bristol, Connecticut.

Roger Lawrence Simino
Roger Lawrence Simino, 20, of Westmore, died at his home on Tuesday, June 12, 2001, following a long and courageous two-year battle with bone cancer.
Mr. Simino was born on January 2, 1981, in St. Johnsbury, the beloved son of Carl Simino of Barton and Vickie (Sicard) Simino of Westmore. He worked for Paul Morse and Son of Hartland as a tree climber and limber. He really loved his job, but due to his illness he was unable to work the last two years. He also worked when he could in between surgeries and chemotherapy treatments for his father and Uncle Reggie running a log loader.
He was a member of the National Rifle Association and enjoyed hunting and going to Mike's camp with Kristopher and the gang. He loved going fishing with Dwayne and Andy and anyone else who would go with him. His favorite sport was mud bogging with many friends and relatives. He spent a great deal of time with his best friend and sidekick, Jasmine, who gave him eight beautiful puppies on June 6.
He is survived by his mom, Vickie, of Westmore; by his dad, Carl, and his wife, Paulette, of Barton; by his sister Jessica of Glover; by his brother Ryan of Westmore; by Kim Labounty and her friend Danny Mitchell, Jim and Lori Labounty and their sons, and Michelle Labounty; by his companion and love of his life, Brandi Stone, of Irasburg; by his grandparents, Lawrence and Shirley Sicard of Westmore and Richard and Becky Simino of Glover; by great-grandmothers Dorothy Sicard, Lillian Chaffee, and Blanche Perron; by aunts and uncles: Reginald and Pamela Prue, Gary and Wendy Sicard, Steve Sicard, Daryl Simino, and Richard and Alfreda Trucott; by his cousins: Brittany and Bryant Prue, Nina Sicard, Joshua, Daniel and Cassandra Sicard, Amanda Trucott, Lacy, Kaulana, Shae, and Alarice. We love you Roger.
Funeral services were held on Friday, June 15, with the Reverend Pat Forman officiating. Interment took place on Tuesday, June 19, at Lakeside Cemetery in Westmore.

Henry G. Vincent
Henry G. Vincent, 79, of Newport and formerly of Derby Line, died in Newport on Saturday, June 16, 2001.
Mr. Vincent was born in Mansonville, Quebec, on September 10, 1921, the son of George and Myrtle (Sargent) Vincent. He served in the U.S. Army and was a veteran of World War II. He was a highway worker for the state of Vermont for many years, then went to work as a machinist at Butterfields, retiring in 1986. He was a third degree member of the Knights of Columbus Newport Gibbons Council No. 2285. He loved to garden and share his crops with his friends and to play the harmonica to his grandchildren anytime they wanted.
On January 21, 1946, he married Arlene Kettle, who predeceased him in 1988. He is survived by his daughters: Joanne Piper of Fort Fairfield, Maine, Jeannine Christie and her husband, Noel, of Barre, and Mary Jane Gerow and her husband, Stan, of Presque Isle, Maine; by his brother Maurice Vincent of North Troy; by his sisters: Irene Pudvah of Derby Line, Madeline Dingmond of North Troy, Virginia Lamonda of Newport, and Catherine Brooks of New Hampshire; by seven grandchildren; by three great-grandchildren; and by several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by three brothers; by one sister; and by his granddaughter Joy.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Tuesday, June 19, at St. Edward's Catholic Church in Derby Line with the Reverend Yvon Royer officiating. Interment followed at Notre Dame Cemetery in North Troy with full military honors.

There will be a memorial service for Doris Barrabee at Westmore Community Church on June 30, at 2 p.m. The Reverend Bruce Barrabee will be officiating.
