On April 16, 1932, she married Gerald K. Spaulding at a family home in Craftsbury. Mr. Spaulding died April 16, 1995.

As a youngster she spent many happy hours at her uncle's camp on Little Hosmer where Professor Coburn taught her and others how to swim.
Later in life, the coast of Maine and the Gaspe Peninsula were favorite vacation destinations.
She was a talented and creative seamstress and made a lot of her own clothes; she also sewed for her family. She loved entertaining and family gatherings at camp.
She was an avid reader and enjoyed keeping up with current events and world issues.
She was a member of the United Church of Craftsbury and the Search Light Club, and she was a past worthy matron of the Order of Eastern Star.
