Donna Sue (Nichols) Roberts, 62, of Barton, died at her home on Sunday, March 25, 2001.
Mrs. Roberts was born in Pikeville, Kentucky, on January 26, 1939, the daughter of John and Icy (Chaney) Nichols. She served in the U.S. Air Force. One of her favorite pastimes was traveling throughout the countryside of Vermont.
On July 18, 1958, she married Charlie Roberts Sr., in a double ceremony with her twin sister at Andrews Air Force Base. She is survived by her husband, Charlie; by her sons, George Roberts and his wife, Kym, of Council Grove, Kansas, and David Roberts and his wife, Heather, of Huntington; by her grandchildren: Morgan, Paden, and Charles; by her brothers, Billy J. Nichols and his wife, Ruth Ellen, of Sterling Heights, Michigan; and Herby Nichols and his wife, Pauline, of Pikeville; by her sisters, Dorothy A. Stratton and her husband, Dale, of Pikeville; Ruth M. Tibbs and her husband, Glen, of Muskegon, Michigan; and Patricia Carolyn Edwards and her husband, Maurice, of Gadsen, Alabama; by her twin sister, Mary Lou Inman and her husband, Henry, of Muskegon; by her mother-in-law, Ruth Roberts, of Westmore; her brother-in-law John Gnus of Radcliff, Kentucky; and by nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her son Charles Roberts Jr. in 1995; by her brother John Nichols Jr.; by her sisters, Marie Johnson and Daryl Gnus; and by her parents, John and Icy Nichols.
At her request, no services will be held.

Christine M. Royce
Christine M. Royce, 89, of West Charleston, died at her home on Tuesday, March 20, 2001.
Mrs. Royce was born in Hereford, Quebec, on January 1, 1912, the daughter of Samuel and Vera (Rowell) Gray. She was a member of Free Will Baptist Church and derived great pleasure in attending church services and visits with the Reverend and Mrs. Whitehill. She enjoyed being with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and going out to eat with family members.
She married Eric Royce, who predeceased her in 1977. She is survived by her daughters, Cynthia Morse of West Charleston and Ellenor Powers and her husband, Richard, of Enosburg Falls; by her brothers, George Gray and his friend, Helen, of Lunenburg and Stanley Gray of East Charleston; by her sister Hattie York and her husband, Rex, of Northumberland, New Hampshire; by six grandchildren; by 15 great-grandchildren; and by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers and by one sister.
A funeral service was held on Friday, March 23, at Converse-Rushford Funeral Home with the Reverend Richard Whitehill officiating. Spring interment will take place at West Charleston Cemetery.

Patricia June Woodard
Patricia June Woodard, 55, of Glover, died in Newport on Monday, March 19, 2001.
Ms. Woodard was born in Newport on October 10, 1945, the daughter of Lawrence and Bernice (Newbold) Monfette.
She worked for many years as a short order cook at Candlepin Restaurant. Recently she worked as a nurse aid at Union House Nursing Home in Glover.
She was married to Harold Breault, who predeceased her in 1999. She is survived by her brothers: Bernard Monfette of Melbourne, Florida, George Monfette of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Carl Monfette and his wife, Marylinda, of South Royalton, and Raymond Monfette and his wife, Ernestine, of Illinois; by her sisters: Margaret Barnes of Baltimore, Maryland, Barbara Harris of Groveton, New Hampshire, Lillian Pingree and her friend, Raymond Piette, of Brownington, and Mary Langevin and her husband, Bill, of Stanstead, Quebec; and by numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Lawrence and Bernice Monfette; and by her sister Dorothy Shufelt.
Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.
