A Navy veteran of World War II, Mr. Christ was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. He loved music and playing the piano.

Frances A. Davis

Frances A. Davis, a homemaker who lived in Vancouver for the past three years, born March 15, 1914, in Denver. Her maiden name was Link.
Her daughter, Jodi Kuest Miles, died of a stroke on July 18, 2004, in Vancouver.
Mr. Everley was died in 1998.
Survivors include one nephew, Harvey Stines of Welches, Ore.; five great-nieces, Mindy Bailey, Chelsea Bailey and Corrine Bailey, all of Vancouver, Katy Demison of Portland and Janet Weilder of California; and one great-nephew, Daniel Stines.
Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Willamette National Cemetery for Helen I. Hansen, who born Sept. 30, 1919, in Sidney, Mont.
She is survived by a brother-in-law, Leonard Duddington of Portland. She was a member of Memorial Lutheran Church.
The casket will be open from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday at Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel.
A graveside service will begin at 10 a.m. Thursday at Evergreen Memorial Gardens died of a heart attack Sunday, Aug. 8, 2004. He was 69.
Mr. Mauler was died Monday, Aug. 9, 2004, in a foster care facility. He was 88.
Mr. Schubert was Cemetery in Portland. Hamilton-Mylan Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Frank D. Tippy

Frank D. Tippy, 56, born Nov. 10, 1947, in Murphysboro, Ill.
Mr. Tippy worked for the Chicago and Northwestern Railway for 26 years and for the Union Pacific Railway for eight years.
He enjoyed camping, fishing, playing the guitar and model railroading.
He taught and served in many congregations of the Church of God.
Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Pamela "PJ, " at home; two daughters, Samantha Tippy of Anderson, Ind., and Veronica Tippy, at home; two sons, Nathan of Troy, Mo., and Benjamin of La Center; his father, John W. Tippy Sr. of Murphysboro; one brother, John W. of Murphysboro; one sister, Ruth A. Sands of Carbondale, Ill.; and four grandchildren.
A memorial service will begin at 6 p.m. Sunday at First Church of God in Vancouver. There will also be a service in Murphysboro.
Davies Cremation and Burial Services is in charge of arrangements.

Darlene June Chambers, 56, born July 5, 1948, in Vancouver. She was a participant in the Friends of the Carpenters Ministries and enjoyed sewing, and arts and crafts.
Survivors include three sons, James of Olympia, and Robert and Howard, both of Vancouver; her mother, Roberta M. Walker of Lilliwaup, Wash.; one sister, Dixie L. Smith of Vancouver; and one brother, Howard L. Walker of San Jose, Calif.
A service will begin at 1 p.m. Thursday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church.
George E. Elkinton Sr.

George E. Elkinton Sr. born Nov. 18, 1927, in Denver. He worked as a railroad engine house foreman.
His wife, Ethel, died of cancer Saturday, Aug. 7, 2004, in Vancouver. She was 66.
Ms. Erickson was died Saturday, Aug. 7, 2004, in Vancouver. He was 75.
He was born July 7, 1929, in Milwaukee, Wis.
A Clark County master recycler and composter, he also enjoyed fly fishing, travel and working on environmental issues.
Survivors include his wife, Jeanne, at home; one son, Erik of Burleson, Texas; two daughters, Clare Taylor of Southlake, Texas, and Kristia Alexander of Vancouver; one brother, Fred, of Wautoma, Wis; one sister, Lucy Stoehe of Brown Deer, Wis.; and 12 grandchildren.
The casket will be open from 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel. There will be a funeral mass at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph Catholic Church.
