A funeral will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday at Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel for Joyce Carole Martin, who born Nov. 11, 1931, in Herreid, S.D., and lived in Vancouver for the past 34 years.
Mrs. Martin enjoyed gardening, crocheting and listening to music. She collected and sold antique jewelry.
A grandson, Shawn Turcott, Cemetery.

Thomas R. Paine
Vancouver
A memorial service will begin at 3 p.m. Saturday at Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel for Thomas "Tom" R. Paine, who born Jan. 2, 1940, in Scotia, Calif., and lived in Vancouver for the past 23 years.
Mr. Paine served in the Vietnam War and earned a Purple Heart. He was a member of CrossPointe Baptist Church and enjoyed reading and working with electronics and computers.
Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Glenda, at home; one daughter, Sheila Viken of Camas; one son, Victor of Vancouver; one brother, Dennis of Washington, D.C.; and five grandchildren.
Private inurnment will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens died Tuesday, Aug. 31, 2004, at home. He was 75.
Mr. Riggins was died in 2003.
Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Delores L., at home; four daughters, Teresa Shell of Vancouver, and Deena Riggins-Wieland, Julie Riggins-Remsing and Kim Riggins, all of Battle Ground; two sons, Michael R. of Boulder, Mont., and Dana J. of Portland; two brothers, Ronald of Yacolt and John of Los Angeles; 15 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
A funeral will begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 7, at Evergreen Staples Funeral Chapel, followed by burial at 1 p.m. at Willamette National Cemetery for Eva L. Troxel, who born Jan. 20, 1915, in Berwyn, Neb., and lived in the Vancouver area since 1940.
Mrs. Troxel retired from Washington Co-op Cannery.
She enjoyed camping, dancing, cooking and traveling.
Her husband, John T., died in 1998; and a grandson, Brian, died Sunday, Aug. 29, 2004, at home. She was 85.
Mrs. Boone was died in 1998, and her husband, E. Albert Boone, died Aug. 26, 2004, in Seattle.
A graveside service will begin at 11 a.m. Friday at Park Hill died Tuesday, Aug. 31, 2004, in Vancouver. She was 86.
A member of East Vancouver United Methodist Church and United Methodist Women, Mrs. Dyer was also active in women's Bible study. She was an avid reader and enjoyed stamp collecting and crossword puzzles.
She was Cemetery. The casket will be open from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday at Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel.
William V. Jones Jr.

William V. Jones Jr., a machinist, born March 14, 1937, in Portland.
Mr. Jones enjoyed woodworking, gardening and travel.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley J., at home; three daughters, Carol Donovan and Susan Webb, both of Vancouver, and Linda Anderson of Rosalia, Wash.; one son, David of Vancouver; one sister, Patricia Nichols of Puyallup; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will begin at 11 a.m. Friday at St. John Lutheran Church in Vancouver. Vancouver Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Donovan R. Martin
Vancouver
A graveside service will begin at 3 p.m. Friday at Evergreen Memorial Gardens died Monday, Aug. 30, 2004, in Vancouver. He was 90.
Mr. Martin was died in 2001.
Survivors include one daughter, Kay Weaver of Vancouver; one sister, Jean Rassmussen of Mesa, Ariz.; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He was a truck driver for Orowheat for 20 years before managing the Orowheat outlet store in Vancouver.
Mr. Martin enjoyed golf, bowling, dancing and spent winters in Mesa, Ariz.
Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
Edward N. Meaden
Camas
Edward Nelson Meaden, 75, born June 18, 1929 in Everett, Mass.
He enjoyed fishing and hunting and loved his dogs. Mr. Meaden was a master plumber.
His wife of 33 years, Connie, preceded him in death.
Survivors include four daughters, June Wheeler of Camas, Susie Houston of Coos Bay, Ore., and Helen and Cristine; and two sons, Michael Sylvia of Las Vegas and David Sylvia of Omaha, Neb.
