Survivors include his wife, Mary, of Federal Way; two daughters, Kerrie Hull-Burnell and Michelle Burnell, both of Tacoma; two brothers, Michael H. of Tucson, Ariz., and Braxton of Albuquerque, N.M.; two sisters, Stephanie Varon of Fresno, Calif., and Gabrielle Taylor of Vancouver.
There will be a service later. Davies Cremation & Burial Services is in charge of arrangements.
Mark V. Drury
Ridgefield
Mark V. Drury, 52, who enjoyed traveling, born May 13, 1952, in Whittier, Calif., and lived in Clark County for the past 27 years.
Survivors include his wife of 27 years, Kathleen, at home; two daughters, Brooke Drury of Vancouver and Annie Drury of Seattle; one son, Christopher of Battle Ground; one sister, Mary Lomax of Lake Forest, Calif.; one brother, Christopher of Chaiang Mai, Thailand; and one grandchild.
His life will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Saturday at the On Deck restaurant at Tri-Mountain golf course in Ridgefield. Davies Cremation & Burial Services is in charge of arrangements.
Elaine M. Foster
Battle Ground
Elaine Marie Foster, a homemaker and 33-year Clark County resident, born March 1, 1929, in Cosmopolis. Her maiden name was Joutsen. Mrs. Foster was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church in Brush Prairie and enjoyed bird watching, reading, quilting and jigsaw puzzles.
Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Gene, at home; three daughters, Randi Comerly and Wendy Humphres, both of Vancouver, and Susanne Thomas of Battle Ground; two sons, Steven and Kevin, both of Battle Ground; one brother, Bob of Forks; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will begin at 1 p.m. Sunday at Bethel Lutheran Church. Layne's Funeral Home in Battle Ground is in charge of arrangements.

Bruce J. Kinnaman, who enjoyed watching TV, fishing, hiking, camping and woodworking, born Feb. 19, 1938, in Warren, Pa.
Survivors include his wife, Marcia, at home; four daughters, Diana Robbins of St. Petersburg, Fla., Dawn Kinnaman of Oldsmar, Fla., Shari Clemens of Battle Ground, and Laura Bates of Senecaville, Ohio; three sons, Shawn Darris of Beaverton, Ore., Dean Darris of Clackamas, Ore., and Mark Darris of Medford, Ore.; one sister, Carol Sexton of Prescott, Ariz.; and seven grandchildren.
A service will begin at 2 p.m. Sunday at Lewis River Bed and Breakfast in Woodland. Woodland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Canh V. Lang

A funeral will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. James Catholic Church for Canh Van Lang, an architect who born March 14, 1940, in Vietnam and had lived in the Vancouver area for the past year.
Mr. Lang liked sports and enjoyed listening to music and attending church.
Survivors include his wife, Chiem Thi Nguyen, at home; four daughters, Trinh Lang and Dung Lee, both of Vancouver, Trang Lang of Hartford, Conn., and Loan Lang of Olympia; five sons, Vuong, Hung and Long, all of Vietnam, and Linh and Liem, both of Vancouver; and 22 grandchildren.
The casket will be open from 9 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. today at Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel.
Christian M. Padley
Ridgefield
Christian Merritt Padley born Nov. 7, 1932, in Alloway, N.J., and lived in Ridgefield for the past 31/2 years.
Mr. Padley enjoyed volunteer service, fishing and kayaking.
He was a retired electrician.
His wife, Ann, died Tuesday, Sept. 28, 2004, in Washougal. He was 63.
Mr. Seavers was died in 1987.
Survivors include his wife, Del, at home; five stepdaughters, Kim Rhome of Washougal, Linda White of Port Townsend, Nona Evans of Seattle, Gayle Baldwin of Camas and Darlene Warner of Brush Prairie; two stepsons, Joe Gesler Jr. of Washougal and Rich Rhome of Kent; and 15 step-grandchildren.
A funeral will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday at Brown's Funeral Home in Camas, followed by burial in Washougal Memorial died at home Sept. 27, 2004. She was 84.
Mrs. Backman was died in 1945, and her second husband, Henry Backman, died Monday, Sept. 27, 2004, in a Portland hospital. She was 86.
Her husband, Ercell, death by a daughter, Patricia A. Hall, and granddaughter, Melissa Deitering.
Mrs. Benedict was died Sept. 24, 2004, in Vancouver. She was 89.
Her first husband, George Waer, died in 1992.
She was died Monday, Sept. 27, 2004, at home. He was 81.
Mr. Ekker had been a senior research engineer for Lockheed and worked several projects including the Polaris missile, stealth bomber and space shuttles before retiring in Nov. 1, 1989.
