Former Clark County resident Colleen N. Couture, a certified medical assistant, born Jan. 6, 1976, in Gresham, Ore., and lived in Las Vegas the past two years.
A funeral will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday at Central Church of the Nazarene in Vancouver. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens died Monday, Nov. 29, 2004, in Battle Ground. She was 84.
Her daughter, Susan Armstrong, died in 1983.
She was Cemetery in Battle Ground. A prayer vigil will be at 7 p.m. today at the church. Layne's Funeral Home in Battle Ground is in charge of arrangements.

Thora C. Homburg
Woodland
Thora Carmen Homburg, 96, born Dec. 3, 1907, in Twin Bridges, Mont. She moved to Woodland in 1953.
Mrs. Homburg attended Central Washington University and University of Washington. She taught school until she retired in 1969.
Her husband, John G., died at home, Nov. 22, 2004.
Mr. Maser, an Army veteran, was a NASCAR fan and enjoyed fishing and woodworking.
He was died in 1987.
Survivors include two daughters, Corina Higgins of Vancouver and Heidi Bailiff of Portland; one son, Vaughn of Seattle; and five grandchildren.
A memorial service will begin at 9 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial will be at noon in Evergreen Memorial Gardens died Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2004, in Camas. She was 92.
Mrs. Pridemore, a homemaker, was died in 1985.
Survivors include three daughters, Lavonne Beatty and Patricia Waleske, both of Vancouver, and Lee Russell of Camas; two sons, John and Tony, both of Washougal; one sister, Beulah Bowling of Virginia; 14 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She enjoyed bowling, cooking and gardening.
A memorial service will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday at Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel. Private burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens died Monday, Nov. 29, 2004, in Vancouver. He was 63.
Mr. Redinger was died Nov. 22, 2004, in Vancouver. She was 48.

Hazel F. Stephens

Hazel "Sis" Florence Stephens, a caregiver, was stabbed to born July 3, 1945, in Ilwaco, Wash., and lived 41 years in Clark County. Her maiden name was Monroe.
Survivors include her husband of 19 years, Jeff, at home; five daughters, Tina Walker, Janice Bravo and Jamie Stephens, all of Vancouver, Donna Fitch of Longview and Jessica Post of Portland; one brother, Raymond C. Monroe of Kelso; 23 grandchildren; and two step-grandchildren.
Mrs. Stephens had worked as a housekeeper at motels and at Bess Kaiser Hospital and in the crafts department at a Ben Franklin variety store. She was a member of the Moose Family Center, the Vancouver chapter of Rebels CB Club and a former member of Clark County Channel Breakers Club. Mrs. Stephens enjoyed playing pool, baking, knitting and had raised 27 foster children.
A funeral will begin at 2 p.m. Saturday at Landmark Christian Assembly in Battle Ground, followed by burial in Memory Memorial Park in Vancouver. The casket will be open from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Friday at Layne's Funeral Home in Battle Ground.
Memorial contributions may be made to a trust fund in her name at any branch of Washington Mutual Bank.
Obed L.G. Vold

Obed L.G. Vold born July 24, 1914, in Dawson, Minn., and lived in Vancouver the past two years.
He graduated from St. Olaf College and Luther Seminary in Minnesota. He served parishes in six states.
His wife of 65 years, Blanche, Cemetery in Parkland, Wash. A memorial service will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Vancouver. Vancouver Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
Ruth J. Ward

Ruth Joyce Ward, a retired Realtor, born Oct. 9, 1914, in Omaja, Cuba. Her maiden name was Minifie.
Survivors include one daughter, Verna R. Samsom of Vancouver; one son, David E.B. of Yacolt; one sister, Helen Combs of Miles City, Mont.; one brother, Darrel Minifie of Kerrsville, Texas; six grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She enjoyed church activities and gardening and loved her dogs.
A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at New Hope Community Church in Portland.
