Anne C. Gordon, who lived in the Vancouver area since 1953, born Sept. 12, 1922, in Waterbury, Conn. Her maiden name was Clarke.
She graduated from Waterbury Hospital of Nursing in 1940 and from University Hospital of Cleveland, Ohio, as a anesthetist. She was a Navy nurse and also worked at several Vancouver area hospitals.
Mrs. Gordon was a member of the American Association of Nurse Anesthetist. She enjoyed picking huckleberries, reading and bird watching.
Rosary will begin at 6 tonight at St. Joseph Catholic Church. A funeral Mass will beg at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at the church. Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Laurence B. Jones Jr., a retired machinist from Boeing Co., born Feb. 2, 1938, in Frenchtown, N.J.
Survivors include his wife, Paula, at home; two daughters, Linda Helton of Las Vegas, Nev., and Lisa Wood of Vancouver; three brothers, Eugene, Lee and John; and seven grandchildren.
Mr. Jones, an Air Force veteran, loved his dog, Tibby.
A service will begin at 1 p.m. today at the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Hazel Dell.
James R. Mace
Camas
Former Clark County resident, James R. Mace, 79, born Feb. 23, 1923, in Sierra Madre, Calif. He lived in Camas for more than 60 years.
A World War II Navy veteran, he retired from the Coast Guard Reserves.
Mr. Mace worked for the old Crown Zellerbach paper mill for more than 40 years.
Survivors include one daughter, Barbara Wright of Vancouver; and one sister, Arlene Cabral of Montebello, Calif.
A memorial service will begin at 1:30 Saturday at First Christian Church in Camas.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of a donor's choice.
Donald L. Totten
Lake Havasu City, Ariz.
Former Vancouver resident, Donald Leon Totten, born Nov. 9, 1933, in Vancouver.
Mr. Totten was a truck driver for 40 years for Sellen Auto Transport in Seattle.
He was an Air Force veteran of World War II and a member of the Eagles and Elks lodges.
Survivors include his wife, Edith I., at home; one daughter, Maelyn Radcliff of Lake Havasu City; two stepsons, David Totten of Clam Gulch, Alaska, and Frank Davis of Vancouver; and one grandchild.
There will be no service. Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home in Lake Havasu City was in charge of arrangements.

Janice R. Voegele
Ridgefield
A homemaker who enjoyed cooking, baking, sewing, reading and traveling to Arizona in the winter, Janice Rae Voegele, 65, born May 4, 1937, in Harrah, Wash., and lived in Clark County for 28 years.
She was a member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church and enjoyed helping with braille books and supporting her grandchildren in sporting events.
Survivors include her husband Clinton, at home; her mother, Lois Noble of Spokane; two daughters, Marci Lavervity of Gresham and Mauren Blatner of Selah, Wash.; two sons, Mark of La Center and Mitch of Scappoose, Ore.; one sister, Barb Bozo of Deer Park, Wash.; one brother, Allen Noble of Yakima; and eight grandchildren.
A memorial service will begin at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Battle Ground. Layne's Funeral Home in Battle Ground is in charge of arrangements.

James O. Holverson
Battle Ground
A carpenter who lived in Battle Ground the past three months, James Oliver Holverson, born July 13, 1921, in Kelso.
Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Gloria, at home; one daughter, Rose Hublitz of Battle Ground; two sons, Rex of Battle Ground and Neil of San Diego, Calif.; two brothers, Harvey of Sumpter, Ore., and Earl of Cougar; four grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
Mr. Holverson was a member of Elim Lutheran Church in Brush Prairie and the Seabees Veterans Association. He and his wife were caretakers of Elim died Nov. 25, 2002, in a hospital there of complications from heart surgery. He was 79.
Mr. Mace was died Monday, Dec. 2, 2002, in Vancouver. She was 77.
Mrs. Sample was died in 1990.
Survivors include two sons, Rob of Woodinville, Wash., and Peter of Portland; one brother, Richard G. Fauble of Vancouver; and five grandchildren.
Mrs. Sample was a Catholic and a supporter of the Humane Society.
There will be a private service. Burial will be in St. James Acres. Hamilton-Mylan Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Brian D. Trueblood
Battle Ground
A 1991 Evergreen High School graduate, Brian David Trueblood, born March 28, 1973, in Vancouver and lived most of his life in Clark County.
Survivors include his wife of 10 years, Stacie, at home; his parents, Sue and Denny Trueblood of Vancouver; three daughters, Amanda L., Kiersten M. and Hannah M., all at home; two sisters, Michele Harris of Vancouver and Nikki McDonald of Redmond, Ore.; grandparents, Donna and Bill Church of Vancouver; and great-grandparents, Marie McChesney.
Mr. Trueblood enjoyed coaching his daughters' soccer team.
