A funeral will begin at 10 a.m. today at Vancouver Funeral Chapel for David A. Norman, a bus driver who born Nov. 10, 1942, in Glasgow, Mont., and lived in Vancouver the past 25 years.
The casket will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. today at the funeral home. Private burial will be in Willamette National Cemetery in Portland for Alma Mae Schoenwald, who born Aug. 20, 1926, in Baltimore, Md., and lived in Clark County for 40 years. A homemaker, she enjoyed collecting rocks, going to the beach, and traveling.
Survivors include one son, Robert Paul of Brush Prairie; three sisters, Thelma R. Brown, Joyce E. Holder and Margaret H. Paule, all of Baltimore; one brother, Raymond H. Jones of Baltimore; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Layne's Funeral Home in Battle Ground is in charge of arrangements.
Hilma L. Speights

A longtime Clark County resident, Hilma L. Speights born Dec. 22, 1929, in Portland.
Her husband, Bill, died Sunday, Nov. 21, 2004, in Vancouver on her 103rd birthday.
Her husband of 50 years, Robert, died in 1971.
Mrs. Sylvester was died Nov. 17, 2004, at home. He was 63.
Mr. Wilson was died Saturday, Nov. 20, 2004, in Vancouver. She was 83.
Her husband, Everett J., died in 2002.
Mrs. Chambers was died Sunday, Nov. 21, 2004, in Longview. He was 78.
Mr. Divine was Cemetery in Brush Prairie. Layne's Funeral Home in Battle Ground is in charge of arrangements.
Edward R. Gillingham

Edward Raymond Gillingham, who graduated from Vancouver High School, born Nov. 16, 1918, in Everett and lived in Vancouver the past 74 years.
He was a truck driver and dispatcher for McCall Oil Co. before working for the U.S. Postal Service for 18 years.
His wife of 58 years, Virginia M., Cemetery.

Joseph Earl Gulker, 55, born Aug. 25, 1949, in Longview, lived in Vancouver the past five years.
A Marine Corps veteran, he was a realtor with Century 21.
Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth A., at home; one daughter, Kim Cutright of St. Helens, Ore.; one son, Justin Allen of Vancouver; one brother, William of St. Helens. and four grandchildren.
A memorial service will begin at 5 tonight at American Legion Smith-Reynolds Post 14.
Janet S. Johnson

A homemaker who enjoyed art, oil painting and attending garage sales, Janet S. Johnson, born March 18, 1933, in Columbine, Wyo., and lived in Clark County for 52 years.
Survivors include her husband, Kenneth, at home; one daughter, Peggy Hicks of Vancouver; three sons, Bob Dalton, Bill Dalton and Mike Dalton, all of Vancouver; two brothers, Dale Richards and John Richards of Coos Bay, Ore.; three sisters, Joanne Grotting, Nancy Smith and Ronnie Elbert, all of Coos Bay; and nine grandchildren.
A graveside service will begin at 1 p.m. Friday at Evergreen Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The casket will be open from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel.
