Katherine M. Allison

A funeral will begin at 10 a.m. Friday at Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel for Katherine M. Allison, who born March 29, 1923, in Kellogg, Idaho, and lived in Vancouver most of her life.
She worked for Pendleton Woolen Mills for 12 years.
Mrs. Allison loved baseball, and was a fan of the Cubs and Braves.
She also liked bowling and loved her pets.
Survivors include four daughters, Dee Cortazar of Vancouver, Patricia Davenport and Sally Hendren, both of Portland, and Nancy Dunlap of Indianapolis; one brother, Bill Allison of Portland; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens died Saturday, Nov. 13, 2004, in Longview. She was 92.
Mrs. Benson was died Nov. 5, 2004, in a nursing home in Long Beach. He was 92.
Mr. Bossman was death.
Survivors include his wife, Eunice Johnson Bossman of Ocean Park; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
There was no funeral. Penttila's Chapel by the Sea in Long Beach was in charge of arrangements.
Gene C. Carkhuff
Vancouver
Gene C. Carkhuff, a 21-year Vancouver resident, born April 2, 1922, in Marshalltown, Iowa.
Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Ellen, at home; two sons, Martin of Portland and Elden of Madras, Ore.; three grandchildren; and one-great-grandchild.
There will be no service. Gateway Little Chapel of the Chimes in Portland was in charge of arrangements.
Marcus H. Deans
Woodland
A vigil service will begin at 7 p.m. Thursday at St. Phillip Catholic Church in Woodland for Marcus H. Deans, who born March 14, 1915, in Chadron, Neb., and lived in Woodland for 51 years.
He worked for Shell Oil from 1952 until 1972.
Mr. Deans was a member of St. Phillip Catholic Church and the Lions and Elks, all in Woodland. He enjoyed traveling and collecting antiques.
His first wife of 49 years, Irene M., died Friday, Nov. 12, 2004, at a convalescent center in Vancouver. She was 79.
Mrs. Garin was died Thursday, Nov. 11, 2004, in Vancouver. She was 71.
She was death.
Survivors include three daughters, Michelle Hartz of Vancouver, Dolores A. Anderson of Tacoma and Sylvia Gregory-Dietern of Marimo Valley, Calif.; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
A memorial gathering will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday at Ray Hickey Hospice House.

Lee E. Jones

Lee Edward Jones, who lived in Vancouver for 41 years, born March 29, 1915, in Centralia.
An Army veteran of World War II, he was a member of Eagles Lodge 1550 in Chehalis and the National American, Thousand Trails and Maple Grove campgrounds. He liked gardening and working in his yard.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Betty J., at home; and one sister, Mary Jones of Centralia.
The casket will be open from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday at Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel A funeral will begin at 12:30 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Kevin L. Kruse

A memorial service will begin at 12:30 p.m. Thursday at Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel for Kevin L. Kruse, who born May 26, 1964, in Vancouver.
He loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and gardening.
Survivors include two daughters, Noel Kruse and Alexis Kruse, both of La Center; one son, Hunter Kruse of La Center; his mother, Mary Jo Hawkins of La Center; his father, Lyle R. Kruse of La Center; two sisters, Kathy Smith of Vancouver and Kelly Smith of Long Beach; his grandmother, Maryann Robison of La Center; and his special companion, Jina Snider, at home.

Mary C. Miller
Vancouver
Mary C. Miller, a homemaker who enjoyed sewing, watching game shows and ice skating, born Feb. 20, 1936, in Newport, and lived in Vancouver for 32 years. She was involved with a swim group at Marshall Center.
Survivors include her husband, Eugene, at home; four daughters, Brenda Eichenberger of Portland, Mona Spence of Kalama, and April Shirron and Marcia Miller, both of Vancouver; two sisters, Liz Pelt of Beaverton, Ore., and Vola Holderman of Idabelle, Okla.; one brother, Jerry Geier of Spokane; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A funeral was Tuesday at Vancouver Funeral Chapel. Burial was in Northwood Park died Sunday, Nov. 14, 2004, in Vancouver. He was 50.
His life will be celebrated from 2 to 6 p.m. Thursday at his home.
Mr. Popi was born May 4, 1954, in West Hempstead, N.Y., and lived in Vancouver for the past 25 years.
He loved music and liked gardening.
Survivors include his wife, Donna K., at home; five daughters, Angela Short, Amelia Popi, Rebekah Popi and Katherine Popi, all of Vancouver, and Kayla Popi of Plano, Texas; two stepdaughters, Spring Schutt of Vancouver and Karina Bethje of Amboy; three sons, Matthew of Battle Ground, and Joseph and Robert, both of Vancouver; one stepson, Rigel Wise of Seattle; two sisters, Marion Clark of Texas and Rose Damiano of Florida; three brothers, Martin of New York, and Dennis and Ronnie, both of Florida; one granddaughter; and three step-grandchildren.
